Has there been any new news on the Chinese release of the game?

Hello! I not sure if you're active in this blog anymore but I need some help! I finally bought myself a dorika penlight! But I'l not sure how to take out the cards and switch them for another one. I bought mine secondment and it a card already in it and I cannot seem to take it out. Please hello if you can. Thank you!

Hi! Sorry for the late response, I do still check this account occasionally but the last few weeks have been pretty busy. I'll be sure to check more often now, just in case!

If you still need help, there's a hole on the back of the penlight that you can use to push the card up~

I think in a previous reply to a message you said that the music groups IRL are disbanding? Where have you read that? I cant find anything on any site saying that they're breaking up

Announcement

Hello everyone. I’m sure by now, everyone is aware that Dream Festival has officially been shut down, as such the application has become inaccessible. With that said, not to worry! I have recorded every single story that ever existed on the application, and despite my lack of updates, I do one day hope to finish translating everything (even if it’ll take really long and someone else might have already done it) Thanks to everyone who discovered this little side project of mine and follow it, and also for all your patience. Thank you too, to everyone who continually love the game! The final live (that will also possibly signify the end of the project) is set for October in Budoukan. Until then, I hope everyone will continue showing their support for Dream Festival!

End of Application

As you probably know, the Dream Festival! R app came to an end on May 1st at 2 PM, JST. From this point onwards, the app will no longer be accessible.

The whole project was an amazing experience. It impacted me in a way I never thought a series could, and it'll forever have a special place in my heart. I want to keep this blog open, and I'll be coming back to reblog/post links that I find of videos/pictures from the game, as well as posting any updates we might receive. Like I said in my previous post, the CN version of DreamFes appears to still be scheduled for release so I'll be posting info on that for sure!

FAQ

Recently there's been a lot of questions regarding the app and the project in general. Since most of them are about the same topics, I figured I'd put them all together in this post.

First, however, I'd like to apologize for my absence. Like most fans, I wanted to dedicate my time to the game and try to complete as many goals and unlock as many stories as possible, and I ended up pretty much spending all my free time playing so I've been off of social media a lot more than usual.

Most of the questions I received were regarding stories from the game - this is something I had to think a lot about. I knew trying to record them all myself would likely be too difficult since there are so many, so I reached out to other fans and asked if they know anybody who's recording them. I didn't want to post this immediately, since I'm still waiting on a definite answer, but I do know there is a group with several members who each contributed recordings of stories so they wouldn't be completely lost. However, the group are still working to organize the videos they have, and they're also still currently deciding if these videos are something they'd like to make public once they're finished. I'll respect their decision no matter what, and of course I'll be reblogging this post with any new updates once I receive them.

Another question I received a lot is "will the Chinese version still be released?" - as of right now, it seems the answer is yes. Bilibili bought the rights to the CN server, and it appears that they still have plans to release it despite JP dreamfes being shut down. Thank-You Gifts!

The first UR features Yuto from the new final live official art. The coord piece this dorika comes with is his ‘Rose Shiny’ jacket. This card also comes with a special voice line.

FP Shop Items

In the FP shop, the number of LP refill bottles and green tickets will be reset back to 9999 on April 16th at 2 PM, JST. If you want to scout as much as possible and haven't collected all 9999 tickets yet, now would be a good time to do so! Remember you can get a lot of FP from the songs with FP boosts, which you can find in the daily songs tab, as well as selling dorika you don't want.

Why is Dream Festival shutting down?? I heard even the arcade game is more or less shutting down too? I'm so heartbroken! I loved this anime so much. How about... everything? Are they going to stop making merchandise and start disbanding the voice actors too...?

Fans haven't been given a concrete reason as to why the game is shutting down, though it seems like it was a sudden decision made by the company.

The arcade game is shutting down, however I'm unsure about merchandise. I think if they decide to make more after the game shuts down, it won't be made often. As for the groups in real life, they are disbanding and will have their final concert at Nippon Budokan on October 21st.

Oh, it's shutting down...? Wait. That means the app will be removed off the japanese appstore, right? But if I still have it installed, can I still play it without expecting any updates? Will the game still work?

The official site stated that the game won't be accessible after May 1st, so as far as I'm aware even people who have it installed won't be able to play it. It's possible they may decide to make it accessible after it shuts down, but as of right now it seems they won't.

App Update (ver. 4.3.0)

The new update is here! This update has brought us several changes:

- New opening screen. As shown in the picture above, the opening screen now displays this beautiful CG from the final event.

- Premium gacha closed. Though it was announced that in-app purchases would no longer be available after the update, it seems they also closed down the entire premium gacha too, meaning premium gacha tickets are no longer useable.

- New regular gacha. People were understandably upset about having premium gacha tickets that they saved but can’t use, though the new and improved regular gacha definitely makes up for it. Green tickets would normally be used to scout low-rarity dorika, but now all rarities are available to scout. The gacha contains past gacha and event dorika, and the UR rate is 10%.

- New FP rewards. More posters, badges and plushies were added to the FP store, and you can now buy refill bottles too. There are also discounts so players can buy more items for a lower amount of FP.

- Reward drops for the daily songs have increased.

Though it can be hard to find motivation to keep playing when we know the game will be shutting down in May, I think these new changes are worth checking out. If you’re scouting then good luck, and if you get any scouts that you’re excited about, I’d love to hear about them!

Ok this kinda strange for me,, the app would be shutdown but why in the last update they should add more items?? They think people would collect it even only able to watch that in 1 month?? -_- I hope this game shutdown mean change to the new one, not completely dissapear from this world

I completely understand how you feel, though I think they most likely want fans to enjoy the game as much as possible and have a chance to collect cards they were missing before it ends. For people who were hoping to get certain cards or reach certain goals, the new features can give them a higher chance of achieving that so they can at least feel a little more satisfied at the end. It’ll be extremely sad when the game shuts down either way, so they might as well spoil us with good cards and items until then!

If you view the card, you’ll see an audio button on the bottom right corner. If you click that, you’ll hear his new voice line.

just a heads up, the gacha does not contain ALL sets. examples that i was hoping i could scout for aren’t in it are hard bleach and steampunk maid. there’s a full list over three notices in-game that lists all available sets.
