First off we [me and an unspecified group of 2-3 others] were travelling down this coastline, headed for a research station or something, and weird things were happening in the ocean [something invasion or war related], off to our right as we were driving. Like you could see some things out in the water but it was rainy and choppy and it wasn't clear what they were. So we get to the research station which is just this building like a large singlewide, and there are four people working/living in it. There are two bedrooms on the right end and two on the left, with a kitchen/living/research space in the middle. The two people on the left end are sort of just...researchers, while the ones on the right are like..."plants" from The Company, which is Bad. Sort of there to oversee and tattle if anyone is doing anything they're not supposed to. Heavy "Big Brother" vibe. Time skip (a few weeks, maybe months?) and we're driving to the station again, ocean on our right, but now there's this enormous *ship* thing over the water, dark rusty brown with a ton of little windows with gold light shining out of them, with these long cables that look like they're anchoring it into the ocean floor. But the ship is above the water itself, not floating on the water. We're shocked at how far Things have progressed, and rushing to get to the station so we can regroup and debrief with the researchers. But when we get there things are very weird with the researchers; they seem unharmed but are extremely apprehensive about The Managers or whoever, who have been shut in their respective rooms for days and haven't made a peep. They want to help us (and we are apparently trying to overthrow the Company or at least do some stuff that will get us in big trouble), and they'll do what they can, but they're very worried about Those Guys coming out and catching us and then we'd all be in deep shit. Weirdly, the last time they saw those two, they were sort of blasƩ about anything going on at the station, but it's unclear why they would be, since their whole job was to oversee and tell The Company about any wrongdoing. Time skip again, and we're at The Company headquarters. There's basically a bounty out for me - I'm to be apprehended on sight, with brute force if necessary. So I am DEFINITELY sneaking, and my companions may or may not be recognized as well so they're having to be careful too, although less careful than me, since even if someone sees them they can just nonchalantly walk down another hall and disappear, whereas if anyone sees ME they're running after me immediately. So we've infiltrated, but I get cut off and I'm in this dark little office with a glass door. Some little robots [which apparently go around the office and just scan for anything suspicious, they're like roombas but with little boxes on top] start to head into the room, and as careful as I can I reach out and slowly shut the door as they're heading for it, then I duck back into the corner out of sight. They just run into the door and sort of beep (there are two of them), for a minute, and then just turn around and go the other way. I spot one of my companions trying to help me get out and to wherever it is we're supposed to be, but as we're trying to meet up, someone spots me. I start running, and she beckons me as she's running to, and darts into this office and pulls me with her. It's a priest - like full on Cardinal-in-his-Office attire, sitting at a desk in this white office with a window behind. What he hell did she bring us in here for?? It turns out that the Priest is more than he seems; she asks him for our help, and I add my pleas as well - he's literally our last hope; not just us few people, but humanity. He HAS to help us. So he sighs, and beckons us to follow him through a door in the back right corner. We do, and it leads into this large room (again, all white)that slopes down to a flat space at the bottom, behind which is a pool of water along the back wall. There's a single chair in the middle of the flat space, and somehow as soon as we see it we realize
that he's been doing some pretty awful stuff in here; torturing people, most likely. He sighs with guilt and explains to us a little bit, and it turns out yes he's helping us but he's also sort of an interrogator for the company, and he's been trying to play both sides, and he hates the things he's done but that's what's allowing him to help us now. So he directs us to go through another door, and we head that way; this whole time I'm thinking...won't they just come in and ask him point blank if he helped us escape? And it turns out [not stated in the dream but somehow I knew] that he has skeletons and bodies and shit stored for this purpose and he can just pull one out and be like "I fucking killed her after I got the information I wanted" and they'll believe him because he's so high up in the company.
