I decided to cut my hair short after so long. I chose a short shoulder-length hairstyle because it made me look fresh. When I came home, I found my boyfriend playing a game in the living room. He didn't greet me at all, not even a glance at me. I sighed and sat next to him. After playing a few rounds, the words "Game Over" appear on the screen. He slowly put the game console on the table then turned to me. His eyes traced every inch of my face, making me uncomfortable. I was about to leave, but he grabbed my hand making me sit down again. His deep gaze seemed to hypnotize me.

"You know, at first I thought your decision to cut your hair was the worst decision you've ever made."

There was a long pause before he continued his sentence.

"But now I actually like it."

"Why?"

"Because I can hold your nape easier."

He leaned forward and kissed me.
