Imagine people on the train, driving past the town and be like "Wow, cool impenetratable fog orb, that wasn't there the last time" and then take a picture, post it on the internet with the caption "forb" and then go on about their life

* The idea that someone would see a giant fog orb and turn it into a meme instead of investigating it...

* Yeah, especially if they can't hold in their minds that maybe something about the fog orb is actually Wrong.

You can always just have a camera thats watching the town but within the no time reversal area to get a recording as proof of the time loop.

* Oh, that's such a good idea!!! Then we'd also get to see what it looks like from the Underground's perspective every time we reset!

So when this bubble is popped what is going to be the explanation here? Gonna tell people exactly what happened? It would be hard to believe. This is basically a space time phenomena! Unless things are different for your world and stuff like this is studied and somewhat known.

* That was... part of the problem with my therapist when I was a kid... She didn't believe anything I said about time loops or- or killing people and then they ended up alive again because time reset. She was just pretending, and then she stopped pretending when I... When I told her that I found out that I was being possessed by a being who saw our entire world as a video game.

* I- I don't know what we're going to do or say. I mean... I guess the truth, right? Or at least some version of it?? Maybe... maybe people would believe me this time because it happened on the surface, and only this town was affected against the entire world...

* I don't think I want to think about this anymore. We shouldn't get ahead of ourselves. We still don't even know what's causing it, let alone how to end it. We can figure out what we're going to say later...

Maybe a new monster was appointed as ambassador? How many monsters left town?

* Oh, that is possible!! I hope if they did that, the new interim ambassador is doing okay * And a lot of them now! This town still has a heavy monster population, but there's a lot of monsters all over the country now, and quite a few of them left to other countries around the world!

Here's hoping things are going good or at the very least neutral. I mean things couldn't have gone too bad in 8 months right?

* I mean, I don't think there was anything that was left in a precarious situation, but 8 months is still a long time to be away with no prior warning. I think there were a few meetings I was supposed to go to, even just to meet important people, and I know Papyrus must have had even more events or meetings planned since he's still acting ambassador. I only go to meetings that wouldn't impact me going to school mostly and aren't really expected to be super intense. Papyrus goes to all of the meetings though for obvious reasons.

Maybe next time with the stream you can see how things are going with monsters and humans since you've been gone.

* Yeah, yeah I guess I should do that, huh.

* I don't think so, especially if we remind her of what's going on.

Is the train rail inside the fog orb thing with you? Or outside?

* I think it's outside? It's on a side of town that I don't go to very often, so I haven't really checked it out much. But I know the station is on the outskirts, so the rail might be just outside of the orb if the station isn't outside of it entirely.

* I've been in that area since the time loops started happening, and I think I might have ran into the fog at some point?? I know I don't remember seeing a train come through here since before the loops.

Well technically it was already bad before cause it seems people outside can't even remember you. That was the case with that stream right?

* I think this is more of a Flowey question, so I'll get him to answer...

* No, they remembered we existed just fine. But they can't keep in their heads that something is wrong, and they needed to do something about it. They remember that Maddy always streams at the same time every day and joins her stream, and they remember me from previous streams, but they don't remember for what seems like longer than five seconds that we're trapped in our town and stuck in a time loop, and we need their help to find someone who might be able to help us get out of it.

So I guess nothing much has changed in the months the town has been trapped. Which is good I guess! No craziness is happening outside at least.

* We might not actually know that because this town is a little isolated from the other towns. There's not much to see outside of town, and you would need to take a train to get to the next town over. It's not a particularly long train ride, but still.

* Which... I uh, I just realized something... kind of horrifying.

* Me and Papyrus have been trapped here for 8 months at least.

* ...

* That means the world hasn't had a monster ambassador in almost a year.

* Not even Mom and Asgore can be contacted right now because they're trapped in here with us too.

* So, we got to the Underground!!

* We were also able to convince Napstablook to come with us and help us with the fog!!

* We went to the part of the fog that separates the path between going toward Asgore's house and the entrance to the Core first, and we realized that there wasn't going to be any light lighting up the other side if no light on our side could get through.

* We tried grabbing the old fashioned flashlight Flowey brought here on his expedition with Sans anyway and went a little ways into the fog with Blooky and shone it through the fog as best as we could, and Blooky said that some of the light actually did get through! Not a lot though, it was very dim lighting, and some of the light refracted into a prism of color. But they were still able to see through to the other side, and they saw the other end of the elevator connecting Judgement Hall with the area right before the elevator to the Core and the turn in the hallway leading to that area.

* We went to the fog in the elevator shaft next, and they said they were able to see the other end of the shaft and the elevator car at the end of it, but they didn't see any of the items we forced through.

* Then Blooky tentatively agreed to going through the wall of the elevator shaft, but just outside of where the fog would be, and they said that they ran into the light problem again because our flashlight obviously can't cut through solid steel. They tried moving forward a little bit though, and they said they stopped when they could feel a change in the pressure and temperature in the space around them and realized that it felt the same as when they were inside the fog before.

* We're going to the edge of town next to see if they can see anything past it.

* Sans took us to the edge of town, and Blooky went into the fog again. * They said they could see past it to outside of town, and it looks completely normal. The only thing that's different is it's currently raining while on our side of the fog, it's a bit on the cloudier side in the spectrum of cloud cover we get throughout the loops, and of course, it's not raining. * So I think we can at least solidly say that we're not in the Void?

Anyway what have the temmies been up to?

* ...

* Um... the temmies are doing great! The one temmie who ran the Tem Shop also opened up a shop here on the surface, but it doesn't get a lot of people actually buying stuff from her. She mostly buys stuff from other people that she collects for herself and the other temmies who have stuck around town which is most of them. They've taken up their own small portion of town that has all but officially been named Tem Village

* Even with the Tem Shop not being very profitable though, some of the other temmies have other jobs around town, and they all share their money collectively with the entire Tem Village, so they're still able to support themselves well enough

* Bob is one of the few temmies who left this town, but he didn't go very far! He's a professor now at the college closest to where we live! He's a history professor and teaches temmie history specifically lol
