Despite the disappointments, pain, fear, and heartaches of year 21, Baba God still stands with me. So in year 22, I vow to be better, do better, and learn to let Him wholly control and lead the way. 

My closest allies, know I am most anxious about the uncertainties of the future and the disappointments or joy it may bring. Because of this, I am in constant fear of uncertainty but mostly I fear failure. Failure that the world I hope for, the life I wish to live, will not come to pass and all the hard work and sacrifices will come to seem useless. However, time and time He comes through for me, calming my fears, and reminding me that the path that He has chosen for me is right though the journey may not be as I imagined. “Everything happens for a reason.” Every time I am down, a friend or two, but mostly my sister, reminds me of this. and in the last couple of months, I have truly come to see and believe that. How decisions and actions align and give rise to opportunities - those opportunities I wasn’t thinking of months ago, that weren’t in my plan, but are better than what I had planned. So I am grateful for year 21 started with tears of joy and is ending with tears of joy. Though I am scared - as I constantly am - I look forward to year 22 and the years afterwards because I vow to be better, do better, and have Faith.
