[sneers] Do not apologize to it. It’s a demon! What it wants is never anything good or pure.
[the passenger turn to ivan, body language reading of fury]
I... I suppose...
[nervously wrings his sleeve between two fingers] It, um, seems rather upset, though.
[shakes his head a little] I’m sorry…you can see it, right? I think…I tihnk it may be upset that the one person who can see them is going.
[shaky nod] Y-Yes...
[eyes the passenger carefully] Oh... um... I’m sorry, then?
[nods] You’re a good man, Eduard. I am sad I did not get to know you better.
[The Passenger seems to have a message…but no voice to communicate it with like this] [instead they just sulk about]
Perhaps some other time, we’ll have a chance to know each other better. But thank you. You’re quite nice, yourself.
[glances at it over Ivan’s shoulder] [to say something or not….?]
No I’m not. [laughs] But thank you for saying so! Do you need any help packing?
[the passenger twists and turns before lunging towards him] [ivan actually winces with this] Huh??
[thinks] I don't need much help other than moving out furniture--
[cuts off into a surprised yelp when the passenger lunges, flinching back]
[nods] You’re a good man, Eduard. I am sad I did not get to know you better.

[glances at it over Ivan’s shoulder] [to say something or not....?]
[smiles] Then you have my blessing…and my unsolicited advice! If you find them, tell them passionately that you need them and you will never leave their side!
[the passenger visibly scoffs]
[small smile] Thank you. I’ll certainly do that. For now, that’s all I want to do... find them and be with them as long as I can.
[only acknowledgement of the passenger is a slight raise of his eyebrows]
Talk about things you do when you’re sick
I’d say I just sleep but sleeping is kind of difficult, so I just sort of... rest.
[knocks on his office door] Um... hello? [nervous smile] I figured it was probably a good idea to officially let my path leader know I'll be leaving...
[the door swings open, and he squints at Eduard from behind his desk] What if I told you that you’re not allowed to leave.
[glances back up at him] Need any help with anything?
Oh, um-- [thinks before shaking his head] No, I should be alright.
[knocks on his office door] Um... hello? [nervous smile] I figured it was probably a good idea to officially let my path leader know I'll be leaving...
[the door swings open, and he squints at Eduard from behind his desk] What if I told you that you’re not allowed to leave.
Huh? [uncertain laugh] Um… I don’t think that’s how this works.
[stares at him a bit longer, before returning his gaze to his laptop screen] Alright. Leave. [bites his fingertips and starts typing]
[pauses] ... I'm really sorry. I thought about it for a long time and... this is my decision. ...[smiles] You've been a great leader. Thank you for everything.
You’re really leaving?
[looks up from what he’s doing] [small smile]
Yes, I am. It’s a hard choice to make, but… there’s things I need to do.
What kind of things? [and suddenly the Passenger is lurking behind him]
[gULP]
… There’s someone I want to look for. And I don’t think I’ll find them just waiting around here.
…[shrugs] Fair enough. Someone you love I assume?
[the Passenger drifts closer to Ed, head tilted as if curious]
[nods] Yes. Very much.
[trying to ignore it and failing]
[knocks on his office door] Um... hello? [nervous smile] I figured it was probably a good idea to officially let my path leader know I'll be leaving...
[the door swings open, and he squints at Eduard from behind his desk] What if I told you that you’re not allowed to leave.
I’d, um … Leave anyway? Sorry?
You’re grounded.
Huh? [uncertain laugh] Um... I don't think that's how this works.

Mm.. there’s a lot of stuff I don’t need anymore…

I hope no one minds, but I have a small announcement.
[slow breath in, then out]
In a few days, I will be leaving the Legion.
I hate to leave so suddenly and without much warning, but I’ve thought about this for a long time, and I’ve made up my mind. There is something I must do– someone I am looking for. I won’t find her by staying here.
To everyone– thank you. These past two years have been wonderful. I’ve learned so much and grown as a result. I hope to come back one day and visit. To my friends, I will be sure to say goodbye personally.
Again, thank you. See you all around.
