Going through The Sandman timeline I've been slowly making, and I realize it's entirely possible and probable that the day Hob and Dream reunite is the day after the anniversary of Dream's imprisonment by Burgess. An anniversary, June 6th, that coincidentally would be right next to the date, June 7th, which is the date that Hob and Dream always met up every 100 years.
