MALTA Aug 2016 It's a small island in Europe (122mi) I used to stay in St. Julian's. The idea of trip was: 10 days relax on the beach with amazing fruits cocktails and good food. Reality: Good place to relax and PARTY. Flight: Warsaw-Zurich-Malta 4h A lot of Italian and Spanish tourists there. During the day the weather is as hot as you can't walk for 10 minutes. Dry air, can't breathe. Dinner in a hotel room, not so many sand beaches. The private one full of people and kids. The good idea was to rent a pedal boat and swim far away from beach but still in a bay. There's one Main Street in St Julian's (in Paceville) full of nice pubs and clubs. Close to Intercontinental Malta. Prices are quite cheep. 6€ for a big cocktail. The good idea is to buy bottle of vine (20€) they have nice vines there. My favorite clubs are all of the Hugo's places. Hugo's Terrace, Hugo's club and all of them. Also place in front of Intercontinental Malta Hotel, downstairs. All of the clubs in st Julian's are great. They are very dirty ( don't wear a high heels they will stick to the floor) but music and atmosphere is so good. Parties are till morning, even during the week full of people. In the evening Paceville is a one big party. Be careful for Hop on hop off tours, they push people walking around the city to buy some trips and activities. But is very bad organized. They will sell you a trip and then left you with no informations. I both a ticket I went to another city by rented bus, after 20 min waiting for a boat they told my that there was no space in a boat anymore and If I don't wanna loose my money I have to come tomorrow for another tour. It's nice to go for a long walk in the afternoon, when is not dark yet but temperature is lower. Local shops and fairs you can buy lot of nice things. In my opinion is safety there, all of the people very nice and helpful but if you are a woman better not go out alone for a night out. Lot of drunk guys trying very hard.
