The baku is such a strange holy beast. As told by legends when the world was new, the gods put together the baku from spare bits of animals at the end of creation. Thus why a baku has a bizarre appearance, and considered a favorite of the gods.

The baku is depicted with an elephant’s head, tusks, and trunk, with horns and tiger’s claws.

As a youngling compared to a baku, or bakus, as old as time—Whitney’s appearance differs from classic illustrations and depictions. He has a tapir’s head, an elephant’s tusks, the mane and tail of a lion, and leopard's claws.

(My goodness. This character has been a muse since 2013 and revamped countless of times. Never even got to use him much and when I did there was a lot of godmodding due to him being a villain with an honest confession; people didn’t want their muse/s to be treated poorly (but that’s what villains do, even muses who don’t have ill intentions but are rude because that’s just how they are). He had to be revamped so he would be easy to interact with. Just so you know, godmodding isn’t fair. I’ve lost my footing in the past three years he was last played, so we’ll see how things will carry out with this guy. Everything is gone, people who’ve interacted have all left so there isn’t a point keeping old threads “archived” and this baku’s character and background completely changed.}
