currently seeing a 15th Doctor fan edit auto playing on my parents tv and it just makes me so sad how Ncuti was treated story wise on Doctor Who. he deserved way better and way more than 2 seasons of 8 episodes each. I really liked his Doctor, but he was definitely let down by some of the writing (cough Interstellar Song Contest... cough cough Reality War).

Goodbye RTD, you will be remembered as the showrunner who sandwiched the first ever black doctor in between two nostalgia bait fan favourites to overshadow both his entrance and exit, having the doctor torturing a genocide victim in an episode serving as thinly veiled allegory to an actual ongoing genocide, literally shoving a companion into a box for half a finale then brainwash her character into being a mother to care for a random baby, and introducing trans and disabled characters to be set dressings with barely any dialogue just so you can pat yourself on the back for inclusivity.

Oh and discount shape of water with the worst fucking name for a tv series ever conceived.

This is honestly the only option that makes any sense. Ncuti's exit - as much as it was premature, heartbreaking, and obviously caused by all the shit behind the scenes, I am really sorry and angry on Ncuti's behalf, anx fuck Davies - it was at least bringing bit pf hope and closure as Doctor's last words were: "this has been an absolute joy" - not inly perfrctly summing up Fifteen's era and how full of passion he was in his short life - but also whole Doctor Who in general. But no, let's fuck it up even more, and sabotage any possible continuation for future showrunner. Fuck RTD
