I really miss your writing 😔 hope you’re doing okay! 🩷
OH MY GOSH
I am so so so so sooooo sorry for just leaving u guys hanging☹️ Im in uni now and life is low key crazy so i don’t have much free time😔 I’ve barely opened this app since September.
I’ll try to start writing again, but I can’t make any promises.
I love u guys and i hope you all had a wonderful Christmas ❤️❤️
Hi, absolutely love your writing style and that you not oversimplify characters.
You wrote before, that Nam-gyu and y/n (I’m not sure if she is even y/n) are fighting fiery and a lot. Could you write about one of those scandals and the behavior of both after it.
It can be your headcanons or a full drabble, you choose. Though I’d love to see replicas of both during the argument and afterwards.
Once again, love your works 💋
addicted to the drama
— pairing: nam-gyu x f!reader — summary: a relationship with someone like nam-gyu isn't easy, or peaceful. far from it, but you're in this shit for the long haul. OR; three fights with nam-gyu and three ways it gets 'resolved.' — warnings: suggestive moments, a littleeeee gross, he's especially gross in the second fight i'm sorry :(, mentions of sex but no crazy explicit smut, 18+, the girls are fightinggg, there's a little fluff in here, nam-gyu is veryyy not nice in the third fight and uses rather mean language, drug use, not proof-read! — word count: 11.3k — a/n: hiiiiii thank you so so much for the request and the kind words omg (seriouslyyy thank you :*)) <333 this is my first time ever doing one, so i hope i didn't stray too far from what you wanted, haha. i think nam-gyu is definitely a petty little shit when it comes to arguments with his s/o and definitely more than a little emotionally constipated. i went ahead and included 3 different fights, all with varying levels of seriousness lolol. i'm sorry it took so long, i got a little carried away LMAO. there's a bunch of my headcanons sprinkled in here ofc, but maybe i'll make a separate headcanons only post in the future TToTT I hope you like it!!! <3
In a bad mood, baby, come work me out.
You don't ask for much. You don't think you do, at least.
A tidy space meant a tidy mind meant a tidy life. It doesn't seem that hard of a concept to grasp. To you.
Nam-gyu's shoes are strewn lazily across the floor in front of you, shoe prints outlined and punctuated by a wetness that traced their path from start to finish. Rain water pools beneath the soles, dripping like a damn crime scene. You let out a deep sigh, swallowing your anger as you hung your jacket on the rack.
Your eyes flick over the apartment, taking a mental note of every offense and sorting them in the framework of your mind as you built your case. A discarded glass of iced tea on the island, half sipped, then forgotten. A stray sock on the floor, far from its home in the laundry bin overflowing with Nam-gyu's unfolded clothes. A cup of ramen with the chopsticks still in it. You step forward, grabbing a box of snacks on the coffee table. It was too light, nothing but cardboard and air as you shook it. Empty. You slam it into the recycling bin with more effort than necessary.
Your anger simmers, about ready to spill over as you push past the door to your bedroom. He's exactly where you knew he'd be, splayed out lazily across the bed in shorts and a loose shirt, one hand pillowing his head while the other gripped his phone.
"Nam-gyu."
He hums in vague acknowledgment, eyes still trained on his phone. You swipe at it, knocking it out of his hand, watching his face bloom with a mix of confusion and anger as it tumbles onto his chest, narrowly missing his face.
He curls his lip. "The hell is your problem?"
"Your shoes."
"My shoes," he responds flatly.
You suck in a breath. "In the middle of the floor. Dripping."
He rolls his eyes at you and puncutates it with a scoff. "My god. You're so dramatic."
You throw your arms out. "Is it that hard to wipe them and put them on the rack?"
"Yeah, yeah," he says. Dismissal. "I'll do it later, relax."
"You will not do it later."
He exhales, a hand dragging down his face like you're the one exhausting him. "Shit, you're so uptight sometimes. It's just a little mess."
You scoff. "A little mess that you leave sitting there for days!"
He grunts, the only sign that he heard you, before turning over onto his side to unlock his phone again.
Your eye twitches.
Fine.
The next morning, you don't put your makeup away after getting ready for work. Your cups populate the apartment, gathering on every surface like a small village. Your jackets find homes on the couch, the floor, the backs of the few chairs you two had. A stray sock joins his on the ground. Then a shirt. A pair of underwear. Fuck it. You add another sock for good measure.
It only takes two days for Nam-gyu to break. He catches you on the way to the bathroom, his hand digging into your waist as he whips you around, interrupting your plans to continue building the ongoing crime scene of makeup in the sink.
"Cut it the fuck out."
You smile. "I don't know what you mean."
He narrows his eyes, jaw clenching. "Oh my god, you're insane. I get it, okay? Fuck." His hand goes up to rub at his temples for a moment before dragging slowly down his face in defeat.
He points past you at the bathroom sink surrounded in puffs of eyeshadow and smears of foundation. "Deal with... that. I'll get the rest of it."
You stand there, biting back a smile as he lets out an exasperated sigh, pushing up his sleeves and tucking his bangs behind his ears before leaning down to tackle the mess—half you and half him. You're about to tease him when his eyes zero in on something on the ground. He picks it up with a smirk, holding it up in the air in front of you. It's your underwear.
"Honestly?" He looks away from you for a moment, his eyes dragging over it for too long, as if inspecting every twist of the lace. "I don't really mind if you keep leaving these around." He raises his eyebrows at you as a grin stretches across his face. You roll your eyes with a disgusted scoff, but you don't care, not really.
He opens his mouth to say something more, but you're already shutting the bathroom door behind you with a click.
You lean against the sink, hands gripping the cool marble as you let out a sigh of relief. Victory.
---
The next time you fight, it's under the pretense of something fun. You'd complained about how little time the two of you had spent together in the past week. Every time you were home, he was at work. Every time he was home, you were at work— or too exhausted from said work to do anything.
So he proposed a compromise. A night out together at the nightclub, he'd said. A nice way to spend time with each other even when he was on the clock. Like 'take your kid to work' day, except the 'kid' was his annoyed girlfriend. And the 'work' was a shady nightclub filled with too many loud, intoxicated people. And the 'day' was actually a night choking on smoke and sweat and too much noise that stretched way too long, like a guest overstaying their welcome.
You lean against Nam-gyu, staring out into the crowd of people as he tangles in conversation with another one of the club's regular VIPs. You found your head spinning from the revolving door of people that he'd spoken to all night. You wonder how someone as naturally introverted and—rough as him could stand this job.
You listen in, attention flitting in and out as they spoke. He says something so out of character that it catches you off guard. You let out an amused puff of air. He's too animated, too bubbly, too eager to please people that barely know his name. For what it was worth, he was certainly one hell of an actor. Anything to get the guests—and the drugs—coming over and over again, you suppose.
It's not long before you feel his warmth inch away from your body. An alarm. You look up, and his hands are already on your shoulders, rubbing quickly up and down in a way that signals 'hey, I'm about to do something that you probably don't want me to do, but I'm gonna do it anyways'. Your mouth is already opening to complain, but he beats you to it.
"I'm gonna step out for a second, okay?" He's not looking at you. He leans in closer, voice dropping to a whisper. "This guy is offering me some good shit. Gotta take it. He's real important."
He brushes the ghost of a kiss to the back of your head, no doubt an attempt to placate your already building annoyance, but it barely registers. His hands pick up speed on your shoulders, rubbing the last bit of warmth into you before he's pulling away, smiling with enthusiasm as he leaves to pump more chemicals into his body.
You let your head tip back as your eyes shut. Nam-gyu never ceases to amaze you with just how many bad decisions he can make in one night. The air around you hums with music, closing in on your little spot by the bar. You drum your fingers against the counter, trying and failing to convince yourself that you're having fun.
You're about to stand—go outside to get some air maybe—when someone slips into the seat behind you, filling Nam-gyu's spot.
"Hey."
You startle a bit, not expecting the sudden conversation.
It's a man dressed in all black, a silver chain glinting against his collarbone. He smells like smoke and beer. Based on his attire, it's not hard to deduce that this is one of Nam-gyu's coworkers, another promoter, you were sure.
You nod at him politely, not really sure what to expect but not wanting to be rude, either. It'd be best not to cause problems with anyone working alongside your boyfriend, you figure. "Hello."
He's nice enough, asking you about how your night was going, what other clubs you'd been to, what kind of drinks you like.
Your face softens into a smile as the conversation continues, your initial suspicion simmering down and settling into something resembling ease as you realize he's just another guy on the clock doing his job: promoting the club.
He leans over, taking his phone out to show you something, and that's when you notice just how close he'd gotten to you since he sat down. You inch away slightly but still listen politely as he pitches one of the club's themed parties.
You nod your head with a vague interest as he scrolls through his photo gallery. Although you were never much into clubbing, you could admit that some of the events looked kind of cool. As he continues going through the photos, one in particular—a Valentine's night—catches your eye. You lean in, and your shoulders brush at the movement.
"That one's cute," you say, pointing at it as you take in the background details. Pink strobe lights, heart balloons, and rose bouquets. A small smile tugs at your lips as you imagine Nam-gyu in his work outfit, his sleeves rolled up and hair tucked behind his ears, knee-deep in a pile of cutesy, pink decorations. The thought brought some color to your cheeks. You'd have to bring it up to him later. Maybe that would be a more fun night for you to attend with him.
Unbeknowst to you, the man beside you was in the middle of taking your statement the completely wrong way. He raises his eyebrows, studying the pink dusting your cheeks and the way your face focused in on his phone screen. He scoots even closer, testing. When you don't react, he reaches out an arm, slowly draping over you as his hand finds its way to your shoulder. His grip on you is light, not forceful, not trapping, but you still stiffen at the contact.
"You think so?" he says, a smirk on his face. He ducks down so he's eye level with you. Too close. "Hey, if you promise me you'll go to our next one, I'm sure I can get you a discount," he brings his phone up again, tapping quickly until he's at the 'contacts' screen, "here, let me get your number so you can—"
You shrink back sheepishly, realizing that you have to nip this interaction in the bud. He looks at you, confusion written across his face, but he lets his arm fall to his side.
"Uh, sorry—do you know Nam-gyu?" you ask, thinking it was as good a time as any to bring him up.
He raises his eyebrows at the sudden shift in topic. "Nam-gyu...? Yeah. I work with him." A flash of recognition. His eyes widen. "Oh. Shit—are you the girl he came in with?"
You nod, a polite smile returning to your face as the man immediately retracts from you, an apologetic look on his face.

Time blurred.
Minutes stretched into hours, each one heavier than the last. The cold was unbearable now, sinking deep into your skin, numbing your fingers and toes. You curled into yourself, arms wrapped around your legs, but it didn’t help. Your clothes—thin, meant for lounging, not for withstanding this freezing room—offered no warmth.
Your wrist throbbed, the pain a constant, unrelenting presence. It had darkened, the skin tinged with a deep shade of blue, and every small movement sent a fresh wave of agony shooting up your arm.
Hunger clawed at your stomach, but it wasn’t just hunger anymore. It was nausea, a dizzy, sickening ache that made your head swim. Your body felt sluggish, weak. The cold made it worse—so much worse. Your breaths grew shallow, your eyelids heavy, your thoughts slipping in and out of focus.
You weren’t sure when exactly you started trembling, but it wouldn’t stop.
You needed warmth. You needed food. You needed…
The door unlocked.
Your body tensed.
A figure stepped inside, tall, imposing. The dim lighting cast shadows over his face, but you knew who it was. Even if you were half-conscious, even if your mind was slipping, you would always recognize him.
Your breath hitched, panic rising like bile in your throat.
Your body moved before your mind could catch up. You pressed yourself against the wall, shaking violently, your good hand gripping your aching wrist as if that could somehow shield you.
“Get away,” you gasped. Your voice was hoarse, weak, barely more than a whisper.
In-ho stilled.
You didn’t see the way his shoulders tensed, the brief flicker of something—regret, guilt—passing through his expression. All you saw was the man who had thrown you in here. The man who had dragged you, ignored your cries, hurt you without hesitation.
He took a step forward.
You flinched, a whimper breaking from your lips. Your body felt like it was on fire, trembling violently from the feverish cold. Your vision swam, but you forced yourself to stay awake.
“I said—stay away!” your voice cracked, desperation seeping into your words. Tears spilled down your cheeks, hot against your frozen skin.
In-ho inhaled sharply.
He had known you would be suffering in here. He wasn’t an idiot. He had known the room was cold, knew you weren’t dressed for it, knew you were injured. And yet, he had left you.
Because he was angry.
Because you ran.
Because he wanted you to learn that you couldn’t escape him.
And now… now you were terrified of him.
Something inside him twisted painfully.
His hands curled into fists at his sides, frustration bleeding into his expression—not at you, but at himself.
This wasn’t how things were supposed to be.
All he had wanted was to bring you back—to keep you safe. To go back to how things used to be when it was just the two of you, surviving in the game together. Before everything shattered.
He took another step.
You cried out, shaking your head furiously, pressing yourself harder against the wall as if you could disappear into it.
“Please—don’t,” you sobbed. “I—I can’t—”
Before you knew it, your body collapsed forward, completely devoid of strength.
In-ho moved fast, catching you before you collapsed entirely. You thrashed weakly against him, your breaths ragged, but you were so, so weak now. The fight was slipping from you.
His grip was firm but no longer cruel. His fingers trembled slightly as they hovered over your injured wrist, eyes darkening at the sight of how swollen and bruised it had become.
He had done this.
Guilt coiled in his stomach like a vice.
“You’re freezing,” he muttered under his breath, his own voice tight.
You barely heard him, your body sagging against him, too weak to fight anymore.
For the first time since throwing you in here, he hesitated.
Then, with a deep, shuddering breath, In-ho bent down and picked you up, cradling you against his chest.
And this time, when you whimpered in fear, his hold only tightened.
“I’m taking you back,” he murmured, more to himself than to you, “and I won’t let it get this bad again.”
✧˚ · .
The warmth of In-ho’s body seeped through the cold as he carried you back to the suite, his grip firm but no longer harsh. You were too weak to resist, head lolling against his shoulder, exhaustion weighing you down like chains.
When he stepped into the bedroom, he hesitated for the briefest moment before carefully lowering you onto the bed. The plush mattress dipped beneath your fragile frame, but you barely reacted, trembling violently from the lingering cold.
In-ho exhaled, running a hand through his hair before moving toward the dresser.
“Your clothes are too thin,” he murmured, mostly to himself. “You need something warmer.”
The rustling of fabric barely registered in your dazed mind until he returned, kneeling beside the bed with a set of clothes. Not yours. His.
The thick sweater and sweatpants smelled faintly of him, the scent familiar yet suffocating. When his hands reached for the hem of your shirt, you flinched, eyes going wide with alarm.
“N-No,” you choked out, trying to scoot back, but your body was too sluggish to move properly.
In-ho sighed, his gaze locking onto yours, unreadable but firm. “I’m not going to hurt you.” His voice softened, but there was an edge of frustration there—frustration with himself. “I just need to get you warm.”
You swallowed hard, still hesitant, but the exhaustion and cold gnawed at you relentlessly. Finally, you gave a weak nod, though your body remained stiff as he carefully helped you change. His touch was clinical, efficient—no teasing, no possessive grip, just quiet determination as he pulled his thick sweater over your head and guided your arms into the sleeves.
It was oversized, swallowing your frame, but the warmth was instant, even as you shivered.
Once you were dressed, he pulled the blankets over you, tucking them snugly around your trembling form.
His eyes flickered to your wrist.
You whimpered when he took it gently in his hands, his fingers ghosting over the swollen, discolored skin. His jaw clenched, a flash of guilt tightening his features.
“I’ll call for the doctor in the morning,” he muttered. “For now, I’ll wrap it up.”
You didn’t respond, only watching through teary eyes as he stood and retrieved a medical kit from the bathroom. His movements were methodical, almost too careful as he bandaged your wrist, as if making up for the damage he had already done.
When he finished, you finally broke.
Tears slipped down your face, silent at first, then shaking sobs wracked your body. “I’m scared,” you whispered, your voice barely there. “I don’t—” You shook your head, unable to finish, overwhelmed by everything.
In-ho’s hands stilled.
Then, without hesitation, he reached out and grabbed your face, his touch firm but not forceful. His thumbs brushed away the tears dripping down your cheeks, his dark eyes locking onto yours.
“It hurts me to see you like this,” he murmured. “I don’t want things to be this way.” His voice was low, strained with something heavy—guilt, regret, something you had never heard from him before. “I just—” He exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “I just want things to go back to how they were.”
You said nothing, your lips trembling as more tears slipped down.
In-ho let out another slow breath, releasing his hold on your face. A moment of silence passed before he spoke again.
“I’ll cook something for you.”
You blinked at him, confused.
“You need to eat,” he said simply, standing up. “Wait here.”
As if you had a choice.
You watched as he left, disappearing into the kitchen. The quiet settled around you, and for the first time in hours, the cold wasn’t suffocating. Your body still ached, your wrist throbbed, but the warmth of the blankets and the lingering heat of his sweater dulled the worst of it.
After some time, he returned with a bowl of warm soup, the scent filling the room.
He sat beside you on the bed, scooping up a spoonful before glancing at you. “You’re too weak to do this yourself.” His tone left no room for argument. “Let me.”
You hesitated, but when he brought the spoon to your lips, you opened your mouth, allowing him to feed you. The warmth of the broth spread through your body, easing some of the nausea, though your stomach still twisted with anxiety.
Neither of you spoke.
Once you finished, In-ho set the bowl aside and pulled the blankets up to your shoulders. Your eyelids were already drooping, exhaustion pulling you under.
As your breathing evened out, he slowly slid into bed beside you.
He kept his distance.
Because he knew you weren’t ready for anything more.
And, for once, he was willing to wait.

The moment In-ho left, you moved.
Every second alone was a gift, a chance to search, to plot, to find a way out of this gilded cage. You had traced every inch of the suite, memorizing its layout, studying its weaknesses. And yet, until now, there had been no clear exit.
But that music box…
It had always struck you as odd—the way it sat on the same cabinet, untouched yet ever-present, playing that eerie melody whenever In-ho watched the games. You had seen him linger by it, fingers brushing against the wood before turning away, as if it held some secret only he understood.
And maybe it did.
Your heart pounded as you approached the cabinet, running your hands along the edges. It seemed solid at first, but then— A subtle indentation, a shift in the wood where it shouldn’t be.
You pressed against it.
Click.
A panel slid open, revealing a dark, narrow passageway beyond.
Your breath caught.
This was it.
Without hesitation, you slipped inside, closing the panel behind you. The air was thick, stale, the space barely wide enough for you to move comfortably. A faint red emergency light glowed along the floor, leading deeper into the unknown.
You had no idea where this led, but that didn’t matter. Forward was your only option.
✧˚ · .
The tunnel twisted and turned, forcing you to move carefully. Pipes lined the walls, humming with energy, carrying water or air to unseen places. You had to crouch in some areas, the ceiling pressing low, making every breath feel shallow, every movement tense.
Somewhere in the distance, you heard the faint echo of voices—guards, most likely, stationed in the hidden spaces between the walls. You pressed forward, silent as a ghost, ears straining to pick up anything useful.
Then, a metal grate came into view ahead of you.
Cautiously, you knelt and peered through the slats.
Below was a control room, smaller than the one In-ho usually occupied but still filled with monitors, screens flickering with live footage of the games. A single guard sat at a console, his back to you, oblivious to your presence.
Your fingers curled around the grate, an idea forming. If you could drop down, maybe you could take him out, steal his uniform, his keycard—
No. Too risky.
You kept moving.
✧˚ · .
Meanwhile, In-ho returned to the suite.
The moment he stepped inside, he knew something was wrong. The air felt… empty. Still.
His gaze flickered to the couch, where you usually sat. Nothing. The bedroom door—open, untouched.
A slow, cold realization settled in his chest.
You were gone.
In-ho exhaled through his nose, setting his mask down with precise care. Then, he turned sharply, striding toward the nearest intercom panel. His voice was measured, but there was an unmistakable edge to it.
“Pull up the security footages. Now.”
The guards hesitated. “Sir?”
“You heard me,” he said, sharper this time. “Find her.”
A few tense moments passed. Then, one of the guards responded.
“Sir, we have a location.”
In-ho’s jaw clenched. “Where?”
“She’s in the hidden passageways.”
His fingers tightened against the desk. “Don’t intercept her yet. Tell me where she’s headed.”
“Understood.”
He wasn’t going to let them drag you back like some runaway prisoner.
No.
He was going to find you himself.
✧˚ · .
You had no idea how much time had passed before you found the second door. After pushing it open, you were met with a dimly lit hallway.
Heart hammering, you stepped over the threshold, feeling cool tile beneath your socked feet. This wasn’t part of the main complex, at least not the part you had seen before. The walls were industrial, metal panels replacing the pristine luxury of the suite. You had made it somewhere deeper, somewhere real.
And yet, you didn’t have time to marvel. You needed to move.
You hurried down the hall, scanning for signs, exits, anything to tell you where you were. Doors lined the corridor, some marked with cryptic symbols, others left unmarked entirely. You paused near one and pressed your ear against it.
Silence.
Carefully, you pushed it open.
Inside was a storage room—rows of neatly folded staff uniforms, stacks of weapons locked behind glass cases. Your pulse quickened. If you could get a disguise—
A sudden noise made you freeze.
Footsteps.
Someone was coming.
Quickly, you ducked behind a shelving unit, pressing yourself into the shadows. The door swung open, and a pair of guards stepped inside, talking in low voices.
“…Check the west hall. She couldn’t have gotten far.”
Your stomach twisted.
They knew.
You held your breath, heart pounding as they rummaged through supplies, oblivious to your presence just feet away.
Then, a radio crackled to life.
“Sir, we have a situation.”
Your hands clenched into fists.
A pause.
Then—In-ho’s voice, low and calm.
“Stay back. I’ll handle this myself.”
The guards hesitated. “Sir, are you sure—”
“Did I stutter?”
Silence.
Then—“Understood.”
Your blood ran cold.
He was coming for you.
You slipped from your hiding place and ran, no real directions in your mind.
✧˚ · .
You made it farther than you ever thought possible. Past another hallway. Past another set of doors. You were close to at least some kind of an exit—you could feel it.
You turned a corner, breath coming in ragged gasps, your legs burning from the relentless sprint. You had made it so far. Just a little more, and maybe—
A shadow moved in front of you.
Too late.
A gloved hand shot out, grabbing your wrist in a vice grip. Before you could react, a second hand caught your shoulder, twisting you around with brutal force. A gasp tore from your lips as you stumbled, slamming against the cold metal wall.
Your body froze.
It was him.
In-ho.
His mask was gone, revealing his face—dark eyes locked onto yours, his expression unreadable. But something simmered beneath the surface. Something dangerous.
“You really thought you could get away?”
His voice was calm, almost eerily so.
Your heart pounded as you struggled in his grip. “Let me go!”
His fingers dug into your wrist, unrelenting. “No.”
You twisted, trying to wrench yourself free, but his hold only tightened. Panic bubbled in your chest. “You’re hurting me,” you gasped, wincing as his grip turned almost bruising.
In-ho’s jaw clenched, his eyes flashing. “Good.”
Your stomach dropped.
This wasn’t the usual In-ho, the one who tried to reason with you, the one who softened just enough to make you question everything. This was something else entirely.
“You disobeyed me,” he continued, voice still infuriatingly calm, but his grip told a different story. “I told you not to test my patience. And yet, here we are.”
Tears welled in your eyes, a mix of frustration and real pain. “Please—you’re hurting me.”
For a moment, just a second, something flickered in his gaze. But it was gone just as fast, replaced by cold indifference.
“And what did you think would happen?” he muttered. “That I’d let you go? That I’d just let you disappear?” He scoffed, yanking you forward, his strength undeniable.
His words sent a shiver down your spine. You shook your head, your voice breaking. “I didn't—”
“Shut it,” he cut you off, voice sharp now. "I don't want to hear another word from your mouth."
You let out a choked sob as he dragged you back the way you came. Every tug of his grip sent pain shooting up your arm, but he didn’t let go. He didn’t slow down. If anything, your resistance only made him rougher.
“In-ho, please,” you whimpered, barely able to keep up with his pace.
Nothing.
He wasn’t listening.
No—he was listening. He just didn’t care.
Not right now.
By the time you reached the suite, you were gasping, your wrist throbbing, your legs weak. He shoved open the door, hauling you inside with enough force that you tripped face first onto the polished floor.
You turned to him, tears streaming down your face. “Why are you doing this?”
In-ho didn’t answer.
Instead, he dragged you down the hallway, not waiting for you to get up, past the bedroom, past the sitting area, toward a door you had never seen open before.
He unlocked it, shoved it open, and without hesitation, threw you inside.
You crashed forward, rolling over the floor until you heard the door slam behind you. A sharp click followed.
Locked.
Your breath hitched as you turned back, banging your fists against the door. “In-ho! Open the door!”
Silence.
You could hear his breathing on the other side, could imagine him standing there, unmoving, unmoved.
“You don’t get to run from me,” he finally said, voice quiet but firm. “Not anymore.”
Your throat tightened. “I hate you,” you whispered.
A pause.
Then, just before his footsteps faded—
“That’s fine. As long as you’re still here.”
And then, he was gone.
✧˚ · .
The room was cold.
Not just in temperature, but in its very essence—empty, lifeless, void of anything except the dull ache radiating from your wrist. You sat curled in the corner, knees pulled to your chest, your good hand clutching your throbbing wrist, the one that In-ho had so forcefully gripped, against your body. Every pulse of pain sent a fresh wave of nausea through you.
It felt broken. Or at the very least, badly sprained.
You had tried to ignore it at first, tried to breathe through the sharp stabs of discomfort. But the longer you sat there, the more unbearable it became. The cold didn’t help either. The floor was like ice beneath you, and without a blanket or anything to shield yourself, the chill seeped into your bones, making your entire body feel stiff.
You didn’t know how much time had passed when the door finally opened.
A guard stepped in, face unreadable beneath the black mask. He carried a tray of food—if you could even call it that. The same stale, tasteless meal they fed the players during the games. A slab of dry bread, some watery soup, and a plastic fork.
The guard placed the tray down in front of you without a word.
Your stomach clenched. You hadn’t eaten in hours, maybe longer. Hunger gnawed at you, but as you reached out, a sharp pain shot through your wrist. You hissed, drawing your arm back instinctively.
The guard said nothing. Just stood there, watching.
You tried again, using your good hand to grab the fork, but it was awkward, unsteady. The fork slipped from your fingers, clattering against the tray. You clenched your jaw, frustration bubbling in your chest.
The guard didn’t react. Didn’t offer help. Just turned and left, locking the door behind him.
Outside, in the dimly lit hall, he found In-ho waiting. The Front Man stood still, hands clasped behind his back, his mask now back in place.
“How is she?”
The guard hesitated before answering. “She didn’t eat, sir.”
In-ho’s head tilted slightly. “Why?”
“She… struggled to pick up the fork. I believe her wrist may be injured.”
Silence stretched between them.
Then, after a long pause, In-ho spoke.
“Leave it to me.”

when he’s your first kiss 💋
summary: how does it finally feel to kiss namgyu?
*established relationship!
a/n: based on the poll results! (part 1 LOL!) tysm for voting!! definitely will get around to writing the other options when i have time (≧∀≦) don’t be shy to send requests in!! hope you enjoy!! this was so fun to write!! maybe i’ll add a pt. 2 with kissing hcs. i’m obsessed with this man
you’ve been dating namgyu for a few weeks now, but physical contact between the two of you have been limited to hand holding, cuddling, and the occasional tuck of hair behind your ear when it gets in your face
you voice your lack of experience to him, saying that you’ve never kissed anyone before.
the way namgyu’s body stills as the words leave your lips. he would be your first kiss? he almost lets out a groan in anticipation
in following days, he can’t help but let his eyes linger on your lips
the way they curl into a smile in conversations, how they wrap around a straw, how your tongue flicks over them when you’re concentrating on something
when he’s alone, namgyu fantasizes about how it feels to kiss you.
your soft lips against his, feeling you close to him, the way you taste. he can’t wait!
when he catches you staring at his lips for a tad longer than usual and obviously fidgeting with your hands, he knows it’s time
namgyu will play it cool, displaying a smirk on his face “what, you finally wanna kiss me?” he’ll tease, making you flush with pink
when you nod your head with a little more enthusiasm than you should, it only fuels his ego “alright, you asked for it”
to keep you from running away, he’ll gently cup your cheek in his hand to keep you in place
this mf is a tease! he’ll bring his face close to yours “are you sure you’re sure that you want this?” you can feel yourself heat up from his words!
when he finally does kiss you, it’s gentle. despite the both of you knowing he’s done this before, it’s almost comical how slow he’s taking it with you. almost as if you’re made out of glass and he’s trying to not break you.
if you pull him closer, he will slowly melt at your touch, hands immediately wrapping around your waist as he deepens the kiss
namgyu’s heart is secretly pounding away in his chest but he hopes you can’t hear it
both of you pull away at the same time with glossy lips, catching your breath. if you squint, you can see a light pink dusting namgyu’s cheeks (≧∀≦)
“how was it?” he’ll ask with his signature smirk
now it’s your turn to catch him off guard by leaning in and pressing your own lips to his!!
thanks for tuning in!! feedback is read and appreciated (≧∀≦)

In-ho had left hours ago, pulled away by the responsibilities that came with overseeing the games. You didn’t ask what he had to do—he never told you much anyway. But now, alone in the luxurious apartment he had placed you in, your thoughts churned.
What was happening beyond these walls? What had become of the others? The rebellion had failed, that much was clear. You had survived, but at what cost? Guilt gnawed at you, the thought of your teammates—your friends—still trapped in this twisted game was unbearable. You had to do something. But how?
The sound of the door unlocking startled you. You sat up as In-ho stepped inside, mask tucked under his arm. His sharp eyes softened the moment they landed on you.
"Did you miss me?" he asked, a ghost of a smile tugging at his lips.
You hesitated before nodding. It wasn’t a lie. As much as you resented him for what he had done, his presence was the only thing keeping you from completely unraveling.
In-ho crossed the room in a few strides, settling beside you on the plush couch. His arm wrapped around you, pulling you close. It was warm, familiar. Safe, even, if you ignored the truth of who he really was.
For a while, you allowed yourself to sink into the moment. His fingers traced lazy patterns along your arm, his breath even and steady against your hair. It was almost normal—almost.
But the moment couldn’t last.
You shifted, tilting your head to look at him. "In-ho."
His hand stilled. "Hm?"
You swallowed hard. "The other players… what’s going to happen to them?"
A pause. Then, he sighed. "You shouldn’t worry about that."
"How can I not? They’re still in there, still playing, still dying." You pulled away slightly, searching his face for any trace of humanity, of remorse. "Please. Let them go. You have the power to do that."
His fingers curled against your arm, grip tightening just slightly. "I can’t."
"Why not?"
His gaze darkened, though his voice remained steady. "Because this is bigger than you or me. The game must go on."
"That’s not an answer." You sat up fully now, desperate. "You spared me. You can do the same for them."
In-ho exhaled slowly, sitting up beside you. His hand cupped your cheek, thumb brushing over your skin with careful precision. "I spared you because you’re different. Because I care about you."
Your breath hitched. "But—"
"No." His voice was soft, yet firm. "You don’t understand the way this works. If I let them go, it won’t end with just them. There are consequences. Ones I can’t control."
You wanted to argue, to fight, but the way he looked at you—so intent, so unshaken—made you hesitate. Doubt crept in, whispering that maybe, just maybe, he was right.
"Trust me," he murmured, leaning in until your foreheads nearly touched. "I’m doing what’s best for you. For us."
Your heart ached, torn between what you knew was right and the twisted sense of comfort his words brought. You wanted to believe him. Wanted to believe that somehow, in some way, this could make sense.
But deep down, you knew the truth.
And you weren’t sure how much longer you could ignore it.
Your expression hardened. “You keep saying that. ‘Trust me, trust me.’ But why should I?” You pulled away completely this time, standing up from the couch. “You’re acting like you’re protecting me, like this is all for my sake, but let’s be real, In-ho. You’re just doing whatever makes you feel better.”
His jaw tightened, but he didn’t say anything.
“I’m not stupid,” you continued, arms crossing over your chest. “You want to play this game, fine. But don’t expect me to sit here and pretend it’s okay just because you decided to keep me around.”
In-ho reached for you, but you jerked away before he could touch you. “Don’t,” you snapped, glaring at him. “I don’t want your comfort. Not when you’re the reason I need it in the first place.”
A flicker of something dark crossed his face—frustration, maybe even amusement. But then, before you could react, he moved.
Fast.
One hand gripped your wrist, yanking you back toward him, while the other settled firmly at your waist. You gasped, about to protest, but he was already tilting your chin up, forcing you to look at him.
“You don’t want my comfort?” His voice was low, dangerous. “Fine. But don’t forget who’s in control here.”
Before you could snap back, his lips crashed against yours—rough, unyielding, stealing the breath from your lungs. His grip tightened, holding you in place, forcing you to feel every bit of the dominance he carried. He wasn’t asking for power. He was reminding you he already had it.
And when he finally pulled away, his dark eyes bore into yours, daring you to challenge him.
“Be mad all you want,” he murmured, thumb brushing over your swollen lips. “You’re still mine.”
And deep down, no matter how much you wanted to fight it, you knew he was right.
✧˚ · .
You spent the entire next day locked in your own head, staring at the same four walls of the livingroom, your mind racing.
You had to get out.
Not just for yourself—but for them. For the ones still fighting to survive in the games, trapped in this nightmare with no way out. If you stayed here, you were just another piece in In-ho’s twisted world, another thing he thought he could keep. But you weren’t his. Not yet, at least.
Your eyes flickered to the vents. Small, almost unnoticeable. You’d studied every inch of this room, every possible weakness. If you were going to escape, you needed the right moment.
And that moment would come soon.
The door clicked open.
In-ho was back.
You didn’t turn to look at him. You stayed curled up in the corner of the couch, arms crossed, your expression unreadable.
His footsteps were slow, calculated, as he stepped further inside. He was watching you—waiting, expecting you to acknowledge him. When you didn’t, he finally spoke.
“Have you eaten?”
You didn’t answer.
He sighed, setting his mask down on the table before stepping closer. “I asked you a question.”
Silence.
His patience thinned. You could hear it in the slight shift of his tone. “You can be mad all you want, but starving yourself isn’t going to change anything.”
Still, you didn’t react.
His footsteps stopped right in front of you. “You’re acting like a child.”
That made you snap.
You turned your head slightly, finally looking up at him, your expression sharp. “Oh, I’m sorry—am I supposed to smile and play along? Pretend last night didn’t happen?”
In-ho’s jaw tightened, his eyes darkening. “You knew what was going to happen the moment you challenged me.”
A bitter laugh slipped past your lips. “Right. Because you always win, don’t you?”
He stared at you for a long moment, something unreadable flickering in his eyes. Then, he moved—fast. His hand grasped your wrist before you could pull away, forcing you up onto your feet.
“I don’t have time for games,” he murmured, voice lower now, more dangerous. “I came back expecting you to drop this ridiculous act.”
You glared at him, twisting your arm free with a sharp yank. “And I expected you to realize you can’t just keep me here like some caged pet.”
The words hung in the air between you.
For a second, neither of you moved. His lips parted slightly, like he wanted to respond, but instead, he exhaled slowly, as if he was reining himself in.
Then, before you could react, he grabbed the back of your neck, yanking you toward him.
“You don’t get to decide how this ends,” he whispered, his breath hot against your lips.
You stood in silence for a while, not daring to say a word.
Your fingers curled into fists at your sides. "Let me go," you murmured, "I just want to got to bed."
Once he did, you beelined for the bedroom, your mind racing.
Maybe he believed that. Believed that you would just come to terms with your situation one day.
But he didn’t know what you had planned.
He had no idea that by tomorrow, you wouldn’t be here.
