There's a strange order placed today by a haggard looking man with way too much dust for an average Radial Island citizen. He needs a mask, or a visor, or anything of the sort that can completely conceal one's face, and ideally hide ears that are far longer than the average human's. He's got exact facial and ear measurements on hand-- but they clearly don't match his own face. How strange!

At the very least, the measurements were thorough--and when filling anonymous orders, that made his work much easier. And as an added unforeseen bonus, well... he had exact measures of someone's face. Always useful.

After being told to come back in an hour, the tailor presented a package to him. The 'mask' was something less traditionally mask-like, and more of a face-shield looking thing that worked more as a slip-on hood than anything one ties to their head. It doubled for holding the wearer's ears to the face, making it hard to gauge depth of them.

The shield of a mask looked more like a two-way glass; visible from within, but dark when looked at from the other side.

In the folds of the hood was one more thing--a delicate silk tag, with the following written on the inside seam:

"I want to try something really different from what I usually wear. Think of like, wanting to re-do my image entirely. More feminine styles are acceptable, too. Though I do prefer full arm movement."

"I'm not sure how 'really different' you'd like to be, but I'll try to find something that would work for you. Let's find something more modern..."

"Mmhm, these might work. The top one is more subdued, and the other one is a bit different. But the sleeves will move as you do, and the gloves are for if you run into trouble. You can choose both, either, or none of them."

"The fidget ring is free of charge, if you choose that one."

The other's body language wasn't exactly 'relaxed.'

"I didn't include a sash for your scabbard, but I wasn't sure if you wanted to put up your sword for a while. It doesn't matter to me--it's not really any of my business. These come out to (moderate amount of dust), but if that's out of your price range, Feel free to give a counter offer. And good luck with your new image."

How to order from Dressed to Kill

Everyone needs a new outfit once in a while. Got a date? Feeling too warm/chilly? Looking to dress down in something casual? Our stylists and tailors here at the store can custom-make an outfit for you in a price range you can afford. Filling in a dress order is easy, too!

First, give us an ask a little like this:

In-store, we’ll process your request, and make an outfit just for you. When we’re done, your request will look something like this:

Pretty easy, isn’t it?

Never be shy to ask for an outfit! If you want a new look but don’t know where to start, here are a few examples from the past:

“I need help immediately with an outfit for the Winter Ball. Find me some things to wear that would look good with this jacket– but nothing black, please. I’m putting my faith in you!" 

"Yo. Mosta th'clothes round here don’t fit me right, so I thought maybe ya guys could help. I need a longline top- hoodies and t-shirts -sleeved or not, sneaks with velcro straps only, and low rise trousers. Parachute, if possible. Purple, black, n’ teal or pink and white palettes are preferred." 

“I would like to make an order: 2 outfits consisting simple casual clothing. No dresses, nothing feminine either thank you very much. Must look professional or at least tidy. Thank you very much.”

Prior experience, if applicable: 

- The Grand Couturier for the REVOCS Corporation, an international textile company and the top driver of global apparel sales in the entire world (100%, to be specific, sweetie!)

- Modelling experience and overview in multiple fashion weeks across the globe, including Milan, London, Paris, New York, Berlin, Tokyo, São Paulo, Copenhagen, Sydney, Mumbai… everywhere!!!

- Lots of prior collaboration, including with a lot of “independent” models, including even at a top fashion-driven school out in Japan!

- Crafting the Shinra-Kōketsu, a “Godrobe” and the ultimate Kamui and my PERSONAL masterpiece (but this could always change as I’m working for you…~), which when worn by my sweetest maman, Ragyō Kiryūin, granted her complete and utter control over all the Life Fibers on Earth, and which would enable her to help wrap and bring the planet under her and the Life Fiber’s complete control, ensuring domination of the entire globe and which I also got absorbed int was a super big and pretty dress!!!

Prior experience, if applicable: I used to make felt dolls for my little sister back home, so I have a lot of experience with needlework … I basically designed all of them myself. I’m also used to, ah … Chaos, I guess? It takes a lot to get me totally overwhelmed. I used to work as a mascot handing out tissues on the street corner, so I’m pretty okay with people.

Why should I hire you?: Like I said, I’m experienced and it takes a lot to get me really overwhelmed … I’m pretty flexible work-wise and I’m willing to work other positions if I need to.

Why should I hire you?: I am meticulous and quick with my fingers, accustomed to mending tears in fabric such that they are unlikely to open again. I have a unique background as the former heir apparent to Deepnest, a sovereign territory of spiders where silken fabric and thread were the principal exports. Additionally, a blade-sized needle and magicked thread are my weapons of choice; I can provide my own protection quite easily, should the need arise.
