Blushing, Holland turned around and shrugged, angry at herself for making Drew uncomfortable. “I guess my mom- Well, she keeps telling me that anyone can cut hair, it’s nothing special, I didn’t want you thinking it’s anything that it’s not.” Nodding quickly, she moved through the room to the back doors that were still in place, out back there was a small patch of ground, “I was thinking of planting some flowers out here so that the whole place will be brighter in the summer, it’ll be nice to see the town looking vibrant again.”
“Tell that to my 4 year old self when I gave myself my own haircut. I had to have it buzzed to fix that disaster. Don’t listen to what your mom says. It’s shit.” He told her firmly. Drew was someone who believed in his own dreams of rock stardom and he never let any negative words get him down. He wanted Holland to believe in herself 100%. Drew followed her as she walked out to the back of the room where doors led to the outside. “That’s a good idea.” He encouraged her.
