Had an interesting day. Went to the equator today... I can say I was in the northern and southern hemisphere at the same time...more pictures to come. Very interesting things happen at the equator... effects on the Coriolis effect, the vestibular system (inner ear) and how the water turns clockwise or counter clock wise based on which hemisphere you are standing... Ill have more when I get back home!

My mom was a pepper sauce magician... so I give you.. Drew's Spicy Blend. Jalapeño, green and red chilli peppers and cayenne peppers. Chopped up and good for sprinkling on a salad, in chilli or whatever you want to add a little spice to your meal. For pepper sauce. Add 1 part pepper and 2 parts vinegar. WARNING!!!!! If you don't add vinegar... do not seal in a closed container. The fumes and fermenting will cause the container to explode. WARNING!!!! Not for the weak stomach and certainly not for those who think Tabasco is hot! When chopping do not inhale. Also of you have a weak stomach... you may want to try when you are going to be home for a while. Upset stomach may occur. Enjoy! !!! (at Fellers' Manor)

Heard a good phrase this morning on the Steve Harvey Morning show. Concentrate on building your dreams so that you can live your dreams. Sometimes I get discouraged at the goals I try to accomplish and often forget my biggest goal and accomplishment. My dream of wanting to become a pilot is a reality. I promise you that when you are doing what you love .... its not working. Dont ever give up on your dreams. My dream started at the age of 5 and became a reality at the age of 30. 25 years of chasing a dream but we'll worth it. Focus on the goal and not just on the time it takes to accomplish it. Explination of the picture: The wrinkled paper represents how many times Ive had to start over with chasing my dreams. Set backs and road blocks, revamping and stsrtong over. But never quitting!!! The emoji with the big red "F" represents failure along the way but never giving up. But adjusting my plans and how I executed them after I failed. Telling myself to learn from failure! As we close out 2014, I encourage you all to energize yourselves and go after your dreams. My next goal is to help those young men and women who think they cant because I used to think I couldn't either. Sometimes a little motivstion is all that is needed. Big things in 2015! Was advised that my mom's headstone was installed. I was excited becuase I thought it would bring some type of closure. ..but the day just got tough. Friends and Family be thankful and love on your family during this holiday season and every chance you get. Autumn is supposed to be my favorite season. I'm not sure what happened here! Clearly my weather app is malfunctioning.

Well I did it! Been there, done that and got the t-shirt. What an overwhelming experience. The support was awesome. I am so proud of myself and I did this for my mom! Half Marathon Complete My body is hurting, I'm cramping and I have been sleep all afternoon. I ran the entire race and at the 10 mile mark...my body was hurting. From that point on it was all mental. I'm encouraging you all to join me on the next one and I promise you that you will feel like a million bucks when you cross the finish line. 2:26 for the first time.... Not too bad for an old man!
