Jel’s hands are surprisingly gentle as he maneuvers you, tilting your head this way and that, lifting one arm then posing the other. He’s almost completely silent other than the occasional hums of satisfaction or tuts of dislike.
It was easy to slip into this comfortably quiet routine with the designer. After you first arrived you had clicked with him instantly, your friendship blossoming slowly but in such deep and profound ways. Often you'd find him gazing out at the lake late at night and you'd slip a pretty flower or a snack into his hand when you joined him.
Now, months later, you were in and out of his store more often than Tish or Reth as he used you as his personal and private model, your bond tighter than anything you could have imagined.
He shakes his head, soft strands of hair slipping down to cover his face and you reach out to brush them away without even thinking. Both of you pause, his eyes wide behind his pink-tinged glasses. You freeze, face warming as you realize how intimate your movement was, Jel’s ears slowly darkening as well.
The slip of silky fabric falls from his fingers and before you can even apologize, his hand is on the back of your neck and his lips are on yours, stealing the breath out of your chest with the tender kiss.
“I've been wanting to do that since the first stitch I sewed on you.” he breaths out, his face flushed “I'm not quite sure what came over me.” he jerks away, brushing his hand down the front of his vest “I apologize for that.” Jel looks away, shame clear on his face “Hey,” you reach out and grab his hand “Why are you apologizing? Do you regret it?” he presses his palm to his chest in astonishment “Regret it? Absolutely not! I simply shouldn't have pushed myself on you like that, it was inappropriate and ungentlemanly of me.” you let out a choked laugh, moving to cup his cheek “I'd be okay with you being more ungentlemanly again.” his cheeks darken, if it was even possible for him to blush any harder.
You lean up and press your lips to his again and he melts against you, hands pulling you closer, ghosting over your waist then settling on your back, warm and steady.
When you finally part you're both breathless “Does this mean you'll wear my pin?” his words are hesitant and unsure, you just smile and kiss him again “I'll wear it proudly.” you can feel the tension dissolve out of him and he lets out an audible sigh of relief “I don't know what I would do if my muse said no.” Jel drops his head down on your shoulder, his face warm against the bare skin of your neck.

You didn’t make a habit of visiting cemeteries, no real reason to, the one a few blocks away from your apartment didn’t cradle any of your loved ones or have names you recognized. And yet, there you stand. Iron wrought gate already propped open halfway as if inviting you in. Late night walks had become part of your normal routine, long after the lights flicker off in other buildings, shops flipping their signs to ‘closed’, buses no longer running. You choose to wander the streets, pausing under streetlights to watch moths flock to the bulb, their tiny wings tapping against the glass.
There’s no lights illuminating the cemetery, a rolling expanse of darkness shrouding everything. There’s an odd comfort about the silence as you step through the gate, almost like a blanket being draped around your shoulders. Dried leaves crunch under your feet as you follow the barely visible path, almost completely grown over with weeds and grass.
Your heart twists as you pause at a gravemarker, the name eroded after so many years, only a date remaining visible. A sick nausea overcomes you as you crouch, brushing off the dead moss that clings to the stone.
Would you also be forgotten? No flowers after your ancestors forget where you lay? No one to clean the stone that holds your name?
You move on, your fingers ghosting over each headstone you pass as if you’re trying to comfort the lost memories.
Pausing, your foot hovering over a lone patch of daffodils you almost trampled. You bend, carefully pinching off the stalks and lifting them to your nose, the soft aroma oddly soothing. Another bunch of flowers catches your attention slightly further down the path, then another, and another, like a breadcrumb trail leading you deeper and deeper into the cemetery.
When you find the last of the blooms you have a full bouquet, the only splash of color in such a dismally monochrome setting. A solitary headstone sits in the clearing, quite far away from the others which piques your interest.
You kneel in front of it, using your sleeve to scrub away years of grime to reveal the inscription.
Cursed to lay in silence, Cursed to be alone.
Granted a lovers kiss will I return.
A gift of flowers and lips upon my stone.
Hugo Thatcher Sinclair 1889 to 1915
You smile, people from the 1800’s were just as dramatic and gothic as we are today, you think to yourself.
The bundle of daffodils feel heavier in your hands and you look down, brushing your finger over the petals. You didn’t have a vase or anything large enough to hold them when you got home and guilt tugs at you. Not wanting them to go to waste, you carefully arrange them in front of the headstone. There, your final wish is fulfilled.
The words seem to waver slightly, part of it disappearing and being replaced making you rub your eyes, surely hallucinating from lack of sleep.
Cursed to lay in silence, Cursed to be alone.
Granted a lovers kiss will I return.
A gift of flowers placed against my stone.
Now a brush of lips, for my hand in turn.
You squint, reaching out to trace the words. What you saw was impossible, it was simply exhaustion. You nod to yourself, standing and turning away. As you near the gate you find yourself glancing behind you, taking one last look at the odd headstone in the distance.
Two weeks pass before you find yourself back at the cemetery, not even remembering heading in that direction. You blink up at the black gate, confused on how you ended up here. A sigh slips out, your days had gotten more tiring, filled with meaningless monotony, clocking in, clocking out, pay bills, stare at a half empty fridge, lay on your couch until you eventually fall asleep.
The same feeling envelops you as you step through the gate for a second time, the comforting weight of silence as you trail through to touch the headstones again. Automatically heading in the direction of headstone furthest away, your feet moving on instinct.
To your surprise the flowers still lay untouched, slightly wilted, but still crisp yellow despite the lack of water or nutrients. You kneel, once again wiping off dust, though this time it wasn’t as caked on as before.
“Hello, I came back.” you whisper, your voice sounding almost flat in the heavy silence “I’m not sure why, but I seem to like this spot.” you shift, sitting cross-legged and you begin plucking threads of long grass, braiding them and adding new strands “The flowers look nice here, maybe next time I’ll bring fresh ones.” time creeps by slower than usual, a comfortable change from the dizzying pace of your usual days.
When you check your watch you jolt upright, well past midnight, creeping into the next day “I have to go, I’ll see you soon!” you don’t know what compelled you to assure the headstone of your return, something clawing at your throat as you rush off, back to the ache of your empty apartment to get a few hours of sleep before your next shift.
The next time you return you carry a basket of new flowers and some food for yourself. You had stopped by the store on your way home, eager to visit the cemetery again.
Marigolds, peonies and baby’s breath. You took your time picking out the prettiest options, wanting to leave something to brighten up the headstone.
Your brows furrow as you reach the grave. The daffodils had completely rotted, mold creeping up the petals like death itself claiming the colors. You had never seen that before, usually flowers would shrivel and eventually just fall apart, but you brush it off, assuming the natural elements were at work.
The second your fingers curl around the disgusting mess of flowers, the poem changes again, returning to the original words. The limp flowers fall from your hand, scattering as the wind picks up for a moment, making you shudder.
Curiosity has you kneeling yet again, slowly pulling the fresh flowers from your basket and arranging them the way you had with the daffodils. This time you watched closely, you had a full eight hours of sleep last night and no overtime work, so there was no possible way for you to hallucinate.
Your breath stutters in your chest as the words melt and reform, showing the second poem. This can’t be real, a trick of the light or a bad prank. You look around, hoping to catch sight of some snickering teens holding their phones up and filming, maybe even a projector clamped up in a tree branch, anything to explain it.
Finding nothing suspicious you turn back to the grave, leaning closer to inspect the inscription as if it would whisper its secrets if you just moved within reach. Something slams into your back, sending you forward, face pressed against the rough stone, your cheek scraping hard enough to bleed. You whip around, chest heaving in fear. You swear you felt hands on you, like someone pushing you. Nobody stands behind you, no sound of escaping footsteps, as your rapidly beating heart slows and steadies you face the headstone.
Panic crawls up your spine, sinking its claws into your ribs like a hawk catching its prey. The words have changed again.
Cursed to lay in silence, Cursed to be alone.
When the moon is full I will take your hand.
To reap the love that has been sown.
And drag you down to the forgotten lands.
You run, leaving behind your basket and the flowers, scrambling over the uneven dirt that seems to cling to you, barely able to see your hands in front of your face. To your horror the ground seems to brighten, lighting up the cemetery in a pale white light, when you look back you watch as the full moon crests over the trees.
Your shoe flies off as it snags on something, a root or gnarled vine curling out of the dirt. You stumble, catching yourself on a nearby headstone, wheezing. The gate still looks so far away, like you barely even closed the distance. In that moment of pause, a tug on your ankle sends you down.
Dirt clings to your skin as you scramble to right yourself, nails clawing at the ground, your screams echoing back at you as if the whole cemetery was trapped in a bubble. Then nothing, the grip on your ankle vanishes, the moonlight dims, the tension in the air breaks.
Just as you suck in a breath of relief a pale hand bursts through the cracked earth, clamping down around your wrist. Another scream rips through your throat, cracking from the desperation and terror.
A second hand pushes through, flattening against your forearm, pulling you down, the earth seeming to swallow you whole. Your lungs fill with the musty scent as the hands tug your deeper, just as you feel your vision fading at the corners your body falls free, landing on hard cobblestone.
Someone rubs your back as you cough violently “My love, you are safe. Breath slowly.” a warm voice whispers in your ear, making you reel away, shoving the person away.
The man stares at you, hurt flashing across his pale features, his hand still raised to comfort you “Why do you run from me? I am your destined." he tried to move closer but you push yourself out of reach, your eyes wide as you swing your gaze around, taking in the unfamiliar location.
“You fulfilled the oath, we are bound together.” he manages to catch your hand in his, lifting it to your face. There, wrapped around your ring finger, a band of silver-gold metal, resembling woven strands of grass.
I'll be focusing on posting my OC works instead of my fanfics for awhile, these have been sitting around for a while and I really want my original stuff to see the light of day lmao. Hope y'all enjoy! - Ketchup
So I have places in mind for each of the yans to be living, but I want to leave it up to the readers to decide if I add specific states/countries in their Meet The Yan posts. Would having a character living in or moving to a named location take you out of the story, or would it feel more immersive knowing more about the characters? Feel free to vote if you do or do not want it!
Ditzy reader, unaware reader, she’s literally blind to the very obvious red flags. - Lighter yandere content, kind of a crack fic. -
TW: mention of sedation/tranquilizers, kidnapping, forced isolation, manipulation
“Where are we going?” you follow behind your friend who tugged you out the door with no explanation “My house.” he says, not looking back at you “Oh! Are we having a sleepover?” you chirp excitedly, it wasn’t uncommon for him to invite you over, usually he’d give you a heads up but you were excited regardless “Sure, lets say that.” you don’t catch the tension in his voice, just happy to spend time with your only friend.
Over the years you had slowly lost contact with everyone you had befriended, Nico had been by your side through it all, holding you close and comforting you when you’d be kicked from a group chat, ghosted or have people cancel plans last minute. You relied on him for almost everything, he was your only source of stability.
You allow him to lightly lift you into the truck, deftly buckling you in and shutting the door once you’re situated. When he slides in behind the wheel you start fiddling with the radio, flicking through stations “I don’t have an overnight bag, can I borrow some clothes to sleep in?” he glances at you as he holds the back of the headrest, turning around to back out of the parking space “What’s mine is yours.” you reach down and re-tie your ankle bracelet that had loosened, missing the intense gaze he fixes on you as he starts driving “What movie are we watching tonight? I saw that Hulu added some new things, and there’s new episodes of that show you like on Prime.” he just grunts in response, white-knuckle grip on the steering wheel.
“Are you okay Nico? Are you getting sick?” you reach out to press your palm against his forehead, checking for a fever, but he just gently pushes you away, voice clipped “No, I’m fine.” you stare at him, worried. You eye the speedometer as he pushes well past the speed limit, his eyes sharp and focused on the road.
Nico was rarely ever this tense, he was usually a serious guy in public, but around you he softened, spoke more gently, touched you softly, now his demeanor left you a bit confused and concerned.
You sigh and brush it off, he’d talk to you when he’s ready, no use pushing him into opening up before he feels comfortable sharing. You hum quietly as you scroll through your social media, unaware of the turmoil of thoughts reeling in your friend's mind.
The car rolls to a stop and you look up, the trip to his house much faster than usual with him breaking quite a few road laws to get here. He clicks the button on your seatbelt before you have a chance to, the childlock preventing you from opening the door yourself, something he did to subconsciously force you to rely on him and prepare you for this moment.
The childlocked door was one of many subtle manipulation tactics he had woven into your life, none that could seriously harm you of course, he’d rather die than be the reason for your suffering.
No, it was small things, like stealing your keys so you’d call him panicked to help you look for them, purposely ordering the wrong food for you when you couldn't overhear just so you’d plead him to ask for it to be fixed, pressing a sharp nail into your tire so you’d have no choice but to ask him for rides to work since you couldn’t afford to get the tire fixed or replaced.
Every single frustration, accident and random unlucky event he had a solution for, granted that’s because he created most of the issues to begin with. But sometimes luck would fall heavy on him and he would be blessed with something that he hadn’t even caused.
Like the time your shithead boyfriend cheated on you before Nico had a chance to kill him, and the time you got fired from work before he had a chance to submit an anonymous complaint so you’d have to take a position at his own job, and best of all, when you stumbled across a private group chat on one of your friends phones where they complained about you and made fun of you behind your back.
Everything was perfectly formulated to get you here, compliant and dependant, so trusting of your best friend, so willing to follow him wherever he asked.
Nico loves you so much it hurts, like a rabid animal clawing at his ribs, frothing at the mouth, demanding to be heard and seen. He held back for so many years, knowing that even if you didn’t reciprocate his feelings he’d still lock you away, he’d still keep you for himself, but still being so desperate for your love and affection.
He holds the door open for you, helping you down, his truck much too high for you to climb out of comfortably. Another deceitful trick, another way to have you depend on him.
“Thanks Nico!” you grin up at him and a flash of guilt hits him like a sucker punch. You wouldn’t look at him like that after he locks the door behind you, after he keeps you tucked away safe from harm. He knows this is the best decision, the way to keep you close and protected, but the chance of you understanding that is slim.
You shuffle behind him, still wearing your fuzzy house slippers since he ushered you out the door so quickly “Nico, I’m hungry.” you grumble as he shakily slides his key in the front door “I have snacks for you, and I’ll cook you your favorite meal for dinner.” his hands tremble, after he takes you inside there would be no going back, he knows that, he knows that he won’t be able to resist, he won’t be able to take you home and pretend nothing happened.
Nico hesitates, breath shallow in his lungs and sweat beading on his forehead. The door swings open and you step inside. Something eases in his chest, he’s had you over so many times, that tightness only growing each time you had to leave. He watches you walk in, kicking off your slippers and padding around barefoot like you own the place. You’re his now, completely his, you couldn’t escape. All the windows and doors lock from the inside with keys that he kept tucked away, hidden from desperate fingers.
You notice it quickly, changing your path to stand on your toes and peer at the hefty latch on the window closest to you. His heart races, this is it, the moment you panic, when you scream and sob, the moment his heart will break as he’s forced to sedate you.
“This is really smart Nico! Now nobody can break in and steal your stuff!” you give him a thumbs up, already moving towards the kitchen to raid his cabinets. It takes a moment for his brain to catch up, still prepared to pin you down and restrain you.
You squat down, rummaging through the miscellaneous snacks he had stocked up on the day before “Can I have these?” you turn to holler across the room, yelping when you see him hovering right behind you.
There, that’s the panic.
His palms sweat as fear flickers across your face and just as quickly disappears, followed by you giggling sweetly “Asshole!” you swat his knee, turning back to grab a packet of gummy candy to accompany the chips you were asking about.
Nico stares down at you, confused, practically vibrating with anxiety.
When will she notice? Has she already noticed?
That had to be it. His hands clench and unclench, that was the only answer, you already knew and you were pretending, trying to act normal so you could escape, so you could run for help, attack him, break a window, anything to get away.
You stand and he tenses up, ready for you to lunge at him or make a great escape. Instead you hook your arm around his elbow and tug him towards the couch, ripping open your chips “Pick a movie.” you say through a mouthful of food, snuggling into the cushions and handing him the remote.
For you, his silent demeanor was normal, he was a very calm and collected man, more of a listener than a yapper, and a lot more skittish than most, always being a bit jumpy and flustered when you initiated any kind of physical affection, so nothing felt amiss other than him seeming slightly more rigid than usual
You lean against his shoulder, watching as he slowly flips through different movie options “Did you have a bad day Nico?” you ask, switching to your gummies, he tenses “Why?” you just shrug, fishing out the gross flavors and holding them out for him to take “You just seem off, I was worried something might’ve happened at work.” you can feel the tremor in his hands and he scoops the unwanted candy out of your palm “I’m fine.” you tilt your head back to look up at him “Are you sure?” he glances down at you, his heart tugging at the way your lips slip down in disappointment, the way you always look when he withdraws.
It’s fake, she’s trying to lure you in.
She’s too sweet to do that.
Even the most docile animal will bite when it’s trapped.
He looks away, teeth grinding as he wars with himself. Trying to split his focus between the TV and you, not wanting to let his guard down in case you make your move.
He settles on some sci-fi movie, sure to bore you to sleep, an easy way to test you. See if you’d try to run. Sure enough, less than five minutes into the film your eyes start to droop, half chewing a gummy bear, eyes glazed over, boredom setting in.
Nico takes advantage of your supposed sleepiness and pretends to close his eyes, letting his breathing even out as if he’d fallen asleep. Seconds later he feels you relax against him, your packet of candy falling out of your hand. He remains there for a solid half hour before he finally feels you twitch and sit upright. It takes every ounce of control to not grab you as you stand up.
I knew it, she’s going to run.
His pulse skyrockets as he slowly reaches for the syringe in his pocket, already filled with a low dose tranquilizer. The doorknob rattles quietly and his stomach seizes.
Just as he’s about to move, your hands shake his shoulder, startling him “Nico, I left my phone in the truck.” you whine, clearly still half asleep. He opens one eye, studying you for a beat “Can I get it for you in the morning?” another test, if you threw a fit and demanded he go get it that would be a sure sign you wanted to escape.
You just mumble something incoherent before clambering into his lap, tucking your face into his neck and falling right back asleep. He can hear the blood rushing in his head as he releases the syringe. Carefully cradling you as he stands up, heading to the bedroom.
Maybe she just hasn’t noticed yet?
He frowns down at you, surely you would have caught on to the oddness of the situation right? There was no way you hadn’t noticed his weird behavior or been concerned about the new locks?
Nico locks the bedroom door behind him, gently tucking you under the covers and laying down next to you, finally allowing himself to relax and get a few hours of sleep.
He’s jerked awake by you frantically yanking at the door, morning light creeping in through the half closed curtain.
Fuck! I knew it!
He fumbles in his pocket, uncoordinated from being ripped out of his sleep.
“Nicoooo! You asshole!” you wail, crossing your legs awkwardly. He freezes as you turn towards him “You accidentally locked the door! I gotta pee so bad!” he shoots upright, unlatching the lock placed too high for you to reach “Sorry, sorry.” he mumbles, voice groggy with sleep. He watches as you waddle down the hallway to the bathroom, shooting him the middle finger and sticking your tongue out before slamming the door shut.
He flinches, still tense and on high alert.
What the fuck? How did she not freak out about that? Any normal person would panic about getting locked in a room.
The sound of the toilet flushing makes him shake off the exhaustion, realizing that he had left his shaving razor on the sink yesterday morning, a stupid mistake that could cost him his life if you popped open the plastic and took out the blades.
You open the door, sticking your head out “Can I borrow your toothpaste?” you hold up the spare toothbrush he kept for you, he just nods, watching as you push the door the rest of the way open and begin brushing your teeth, waving at him with a sleepy smile in the mirror.
He waves back awkwardly, unsure of how to react. Nothing had gone how he expected. Had he broken you already without meaning to? Did his years of forcing you to be dependent on him completely rot your brain?
You spit in the sink, rinsing out your mouth “Do you want clean clothes?” he asks as you stretch, trodding back over to him “That would be great, thanks.” he watches you from the corner of his eye as he opens his dresser, waiting for you to reveal the razor hidden in your hand, you shuffle closer and he stills “Can I wear that one?” you point at an old band shirt from his early college days, back when he was a lot more edgy and rough around the edges. He just hands it to you, moving one drawer down to find a spare pair of pants you had left a few months ago.
He knew it wasn’t the best idea to show you all the clothes he’d already bought for you tucked away in his closet. His heart leaps into his throat as the door to said closet creaks open.
Nico just couldn’t catch a break could he? Karma was out to personally smite him.
“Why can’t I just wear something from here?” you ask, rifling through the hanging clothes “Oh fuck.” you mumble, he freezes, finally, finally you’d freak out, finally you’d have a normal reaction. He slowly turns towards you to find you already facing him, eyes wide and hand clamped over your mouth.
“Nico…” your voice is so tight it makes him nauseous “Do you have a girlfriend?” his jaw drops in an almost cartoonish reaction “Huh?” you point aggressively at the closet “Dude! You can’t invite me over to spend the night when you have a girlfriend, that’s so sleazy!” you insist, angry for all the wrong reasons.
“Are you stupid?” he blurts out, frustrated by your complete lack of awareness “That’s mean.” you cross your arms and glare at him “I fucking kidnapped you!” he flings his arms wide “I locked you in my house and have no intention of letting you leave! You saw the locks on the windows, you know that I locked you in my bedroom with me, you see that I have a closet full of clothes that are your fucking size and you think that I have a girlfriend? I’m fucking obsessed with you!” he strides forward, gripping your shoulders, baffled by how you seem to be unable to catch any red flags.
You look around, shifting your gaze between the heavy lock on the door and the closet “What?” your head tilts in confusion and his head dips down in astonishment “Oh my god.” he mutters under his breath.
“I. Kidnapped. You.” he says slowly, waiting for a flicker of understanding “You. Will. Never. Leave.” your face scrunches up “Why would you do that?” Nico feels like his skull is about to implode “Because I’m insane, literally insane, I would kill for you, I would rip everyone you love away from you so that you only pay attention to me, I would burn everything to the ground so the only thing you look at is me.” you blink up at him “You’re pretty intense.” you pat him on the shoulder and walk away.
He drops to his knees, drained and irritated. “I’m gonna make some breakfast! Do you want some?” you shout from the hallway and he just groans, pressing his forehead to the floor “What the fuck.” he whispers.

Once again you find yourself tucked in the corner of the dimly lit bar, your head pressed against the wall as you trace the droplets of condensation trickling down the side of your slowly warming drink. It had been four months since you stumbled out of the ruins and into the warm sunlight of Kilima Village. You worked hard, bruising your knees while weeding your garden, straining your muscles to build your home, calluses permanently decorating your fingers from hunting almost daily, despite your efforts, how much time you dedicated to helping the villagers, you still felt like an outsider.
It hit harder than usual at night, after throwing yourself into chores all day to ignore the silence of your home, only forced to return when your energy ran so low you could barely keep yourself upright, though that was rarely enough to encourage you to stay home. Even now, exhaustion tugs at your eyes, but the thought of being alone sounded terrifying.
Something thuds against the table and you jerk upright, blinking rapidly to try and shake off the tiredness. A bowl of hot soup sits in front of you, mouthwateringly fragrant and colorful “You look like you needed it.” Reth slips into the chair across from you, looking away as if to avoid making you uncomfortable by his sudden presence “Thank you.” the words are barely audible, but the light twitch of his lips is enough to confirm he heard. You pull the bowl closer, swirling it around with a spoon before taking a sip.
Warmth blooms in your chest so fast and hard that it makes your eyes water and you finish the bowl before you even realize it, gulping it down without stopping for a breath with tears streaming down your cheeks.
“It tastes like home, doesn’t it?” you look up at Reth, his hand propping up his head as he watches you carefully, all sign of his usual flirtatious behavior now replaced with a look of understanding “How?” he shifts, clasping his hands together as his cheeks slowly color, the tips of his ears matching “I like listening to you. I also like watching you.” your own cheeks warm at that “Not in a creepy way or anything!” his hands fly up in a panic “I just meant that you’re really interesting and you kind of inspire me, so I made a soup based off of you!” you cup your hand over your mouth, trying to choke back sobs “Aw man, I didn’t mean to make you cry…” he looks so genuinely distraught that you lean across the table to throw your arms around his neck.
Reth freezes for a moment before wrapping his own arms around your waist pulling you close “I thought you looked so lonely. I’ve been wanting to talk to you for awhile, but I guess I felt too nervous about starting a conversation, so soup seemed to be the best answer to both our problems.” he mumbles quietly and you sniffle, catching a whiff of sage and rosemary that seemed to cling to his hair and skin.
Hey everyone, I'm back after two very long months. I won't be posting on a set schedule just because I'm still a little wobbly with my mental health but I feel decent enough to commit to posting occasionally. - Ketchup
I'm going to be taking a break from posting for a bit. I'm burnt out from college and a lot of things in my personal life right now and I honestly don't think that Tumblr is helping my mental health the way that it used to.
I used to be able to escape into fanfiction and relax but with the upsurge of improper tagging, bad representation and overall negativity I'm seeing in fanfiction it's making it more stressful to read and engage with fandoms and the community as a whole.
I love writing and I love reading fanfiction but I honestly think that a majority of people on here don't have the same expectations as I do and simply don't care about properly tagging their posts or at least providing content warnings. It makes my experience on here very draining, even with me constantly adding new tags to my block list.
So until I can get some of my stress alleviated in real life I think it's best I step away for a little while.

Your half empty coffee cup sloshes precariously as you run down the hall, frantically looking for your next class. You had already taken three wrong turns and ended up in a completely different building which is what led you to this rushed and panicked state.
Taking a sharp turn your body collides into someone else, knocking you both to the ground with your coffee cup flipping out of your hand in a perfect arc and landing directly on top of the person's head.
You gasp, hastily pushing yourself up onto your knees and reaching out to help “I’m so sorry, I promise that wasn’t intentional.” you grimace as you watch your coffee slowly seep into the girls baby pink shirt “Oh god, I totally messed up your outfit.” you grab her wrist and tug her back the way you came, remembering that you passed a bathroom.
“No, wait!” you pull her inside the girls bathroom and immediately begin rummaging in your backpack “I’ve got a spare shirt, it might be too big but you’ll still look super cute in it.” she fidgets nervously, a bright pink blush dusting her face. You coax her inside an empty stall and you hand her the spare shirt “Here, change into this and I’ll help get the coffee out before it stains!” she hesitates before taking the shirt from you, her hands trembling “What’s your name by the way?” you ask, hoping to help her relax a bit “Eden.” her voice is so quiet you have to strain to hear it “That’s a pretty name!” she doesn’t respond.
“I’m really sorry if I embarrassed you. I’m kind of scatterbrained right now and I should’ve paid more attention to where I was going.” you say as she locks the door behind her, there’s some rustling sounds and she drapes the coffee covered shirt over the top of the door “If I can’t get the coffee out then I’ll pay for a new one or try to get the stain out at home, sound good?” you begin scrubbing the shirt in the sink, pumping a few handfuls of soap into your palms and vigorously kneading it into the fabric. The stall unlocks and the girl comes back out, arms tucked around herself “You don’t have to do all that.” you wave her off “It’s perfectly fine, It was my mistake so I’d feel bad if I didn’t help.” she adjusts the shirt, the collar slipping down over her shoulder.
“Sorry about the size, I usually keep a change of clothes for when I go to the gym and I like my clothes to be baggy so it’s less itchy.” you wring out the shirt, holding it up to the light “Hey! It’s like it never happened!” you turn to the girl “Do you have more classes today? I’d hate to make you carry a soggy shirt around all day.” she shakes her head, very clearly nervous “Alrighty then, here you go.” she takes it gingerly “Here, I can give you my number so you can let me know if there’s still a stain after it dries!” you scribble your phone number on a post-it note you had in your pocket and hold it out to her.
She glances between you and the note “This way it’s up to you whether or not you want to reach out.” she finally takes it “I’d be super pumped if you messaged me! I haven’t made any friends yet, I just moved here a few months ago when I got accepted to college.” you pull your backpack over your other shoulder “Well, I won’t keep bothering you, so you can head home. I hope to see you again!” you wave and head out, content with being late.
It wasn’t necessarily intentional, it was honestly just an overwhelming amount of anxiety that made him duck behind corners and trail after you like a skittish mouse. He fully intended on returning the shirt you had let him borrow but the embarrassment of you mistaking him for a girl and just how sweet you were was enough to make his heart pound so hard he felt like he’d pass out.
But he followed you down one hallway, then another and suddenly he was following you home. He almost collapsed when it dawned on him how far he had stalked you, knees shaking at his very creepy behavior.
And yet…
He chews on his bottom lip, an odd satisfaction swirling in his chest as he fidgets behind the tree, watching as you unlock your door and step inside. Your shirt still clutched in his hand. Maybe he’d hold on to it for just a bit longer.
A bit longer turned into two weeks, and the shirt turned into a pillowcase. Again, it wasn’t intentional, it’s just that your perfume still lingered after he washed it and he couldn’t help but press his face against the soft fabric.
He still hadn’t worked up the courage to text you, though his fingers hovered over your name in his contacts. He had added an ungodly amount of cutesy emojis and changed your name to ‘my future wife’. Your name decorated in his notebook surrounded by hearts and ‘Mrs Ellis’ which made him giggle and kick his legs late at night in bed, like a lovesick teenager.
He sighs wistfully, doodling cute little chibi versions of you, tucked away in the back of the class “Oh hey! I know you!” he slams his notebook shut, cheeks neon pink at almost having been caught, his heart rate skyrocketing as he looks up and meets your gaze “I was worried when I didn’t hear from you,” he stares at you, pink lips parted in shock “I thought you might have been upset with me about the coffee.” he lurches up, shaking head head “Of course not!” you let out a sigh of relief “Thank god! Why didn’t you reach out then?” you almost pout, genuinely upset you didn’t get a message from a potential new bff.
Before he can respond, another classmate stalks up to you two scowling down at him “Is the freak harassing you?” the guy asks, making you side-eye the intruder “The fuck is wrong with you?” you shift your body to block the girl “Why the fuck would you call her a freak?” the guy snorts “That’s a dude, a creepy little femboy.” you freeze, processing “He probably didn’t tell you so he could perv on you!” he laughs, pointing at the trembling figure behind you.
You smack his hand away “Back off.” the guy stares at you, anger flashing across his face “Fucking lesbo.” he spits out before stalking off, the only thing stopping him from continuing his verbal onslaught was that the professor finally arrived.
“Are you okay?” you press your hand against Eden’s shoulder, his lithe frame shaking like a leaf “Sit down, take a deep breath.” you glance at the front, hoping the professor doesn’t call you out as you tug an empty desk closer so you can sit next to him “I’m sorry.” he rubs his eye, smearing his mascara as he tries to stop his tears.
You coo softly, pulling out a micellar wipe packet from your bag “It’s okay, just take some deep breaths sweetheart.” you hold his face, carefully cleaning away the dark smudges under his eyes “I didn’t mean to lie to you.” he whimpers, unable to meet your gaze “Hey, it’s okay. It’s my fault for assuming, I put you in an uncomfortable situation.” you pull away, scratching your head awkwardly “Honestly, I didn’t even think boys could be as pretty as you.” his cheeks burn.
You think he’s pretty?
“I’m more used to douches like that.” you jerk your thumb towards the guy who had harassed you two a moment ago “I’m from a really small town so most guys use three-in-one shampoo and think washing their face is stupid.” you study his face, leaning so close it makes Eden’s breath hitch “But you look like you’ve got a twenty step skincare routine and have multiple hair products.” you reach up to catch a lock of his silky hair between your fingers “And this color fits you so well.” he feels like he’s going to pass out, you’re being so touchy and saying such nice things, he feels so overwhelmed.
“Do you think you could recommend some good conditioners? I want my hair to be as soft as yours.” his hand clench on his thighs, the blush on his cheeks spreading “Shit! I’m sorry!” you jerk back, your eyes wide and apologetic “That was rude,” you sigh “It’s really unfair just how gorgeous you are.” you prop your head up on your hand, elbow on the desk “You’re literally angelic.” okay, he’s definitely going to pass out.
He keeps shooting you glances throughout the class, barely taking notes and more caught up with just how close you were sitting to him. He could feel the heat of your skin just an inch away from his legs. Eden has to turn away, forcing himself to look out the window in order to calm down his racing mind. The urge to kiss you suddenly rearing up and taking over every last sane braincell in his head.
His every thought replaced by how pretty your lips look, how soft your hands were against his cheek, how warm your skin is, how full your waist is shaped.
He almost whimpers, the idea of sinking his teeth into your squishy thighs makes his eyes flutter closed.
I want to mark her pretty throat, I want everyone to know she’s mine.
That thought unleashes something raw and beastly inside him, the urge to claim you, keep you locked away from everyone else, force you to only pay attention to him.
“Psst.” he’s ripped out of his thoughts by your finger lightly prodding his arm “Do you want to hang out after class?” you whisper, smiling hopefully at him. Eden melts, nodding before he can even process what you asked, not that it matters, he would say yes to anything for you.
“Coffee? Or food?” you ask and he blinks slowly, his tongue tracing his lower lip where he bit down too hard “Food would be nice, I forgot to eat this morning.” you gasp, gaining the attention of a few classmates who glare at you “You have to take better care of yourself! We’re getting food the second class is over.” you scold him gently, making a bubbly warmth blossom in his chest.
She cares so much about me!
True to your word, you tug him out of the classroom the second the professor finishes, already listing off different options “There’s a great Mexican place close to here, and a fantastic Jamaican restaurant with the best pineapple curry I’ve ever had, or maybe burgers?” he’s so focused on your hand wrapped around his wrist that he can’t even think straight “Eden?” you halt right outside the building, looking at him concerned “Huh?” you giggle at his dazed expression “I asked what kind of food sounds good to you?” he hesitates.
What kind of food would she like? What should I say? What if she’s on a budget and I suggest something expensive?
A lightbulb goes off in his head, this was his chance to woo her, to win her over.
“There’s a really good sushi place I like to eat at, but it’s crazy expensive.” he mentally thanks god when your face falls “But since its my idea I’d pay!” you frown slightly “I’d feel bad letting you pay for me.” he beams “Don’t worry about it! I’m loaded so it wouldn’t even put a dent in my budget.” you quirk an eyebrow at him “Are you sure?” he nods excitedly, clasping his hands together in a pleading motion “I promise you that you’ll love it.” you purse your lips, thinking for a moment “Fine, but only on the condition that I pay for our next meal.” Eden is on cloud nine, you hadn’t even gone on one date and you’re already planning the next one?
He has no intention of allowing you to pay for even a dime, but agrees nonetheless, he’s sure to weasel out of that in the future, perhaps by goading you into trying more of his favorite expensive restaurants.
“We can take my car, that way we don’t get caught in the rain later.” you gasp “That’s smart! I forgot my umbrella at home anyway so that works perfectly.” he already knew you forgot your umbrella, he watched you shuffle through your backpack in a panic halfway through your walk to school and cursed yourself for your forgetfulness.
You stare wide-eyed at the sleek car parked in the private area he paid extra for “Woah…” you brush your hand over the hood, transfixed by the dark blue custom wrap, light glimmering off the sparkles “It’s such a pretty color.” you pull out your phone to snap a few pictures “I’m totally getting my nails painted to match this color.” Eden's knees buckle, he wasn’t much of a car guy but the idea of you choosing something that he owned as your nail color made his head fuzzy and a dopey grin to spread across his glossy lips.
He revels in you seated next to him as you adjust your seat to fit your height better, he won’t change it once you get out, it’ll be permanently fixed to your liking.
“Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?” you ask, clicking in the seatbelt “No, I usually don’t do anything other than class.” he says, suddenly feeling nervous about his lack of social life, but you light up at that “We could hang out longer then? If you want?” you try your best to contain your excitement, not wanting to come off too strong but he matches your enthusiasm “That would be nice, maybe we could go to the arcade afterwards?” his voice trembles, shy and expecting rejection despite you being the one to initiate “I’d love too!” he feels his tension ease at your enthusiasm.
Eden slides his hand behind the headrest, craning his head around to backup, as he turns back around he catches you staring at him, your cheeks tinted pink. You jerk away, looking out the window. He frowns, confused, but shrugs it off.
His nerves are fried as he pulls into the parking lot of the sushi place, it was a short drive but an odd tension simmered in the air and he panics internally, worried he had done something wrong.
Before he can ask, you’re already out of the car and bouncing toward the front doors, urging him to catch up “Come on! I’m really excited to try it!” he trots after you, grateful he had opted for his mary janes instead of wedges so he wouldn’t look like a newborn deer teetering after you.
A waiter guides you both to a table, his eyes lingering on you longer than needed after giving you a menu. Eden’s knuckle pops from how hard he clenches his hands, jaw ticking as he stares down the waiter walking away “What’s your favorite thing to order?” the rage melts away the second he hears your voice “I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, but I usually order this.” he leans forward to tap the middle option, his hair spilling over his shoulder in a waterfall of soft strands. You’re so transfixed by his hair that it takes you a moment to look down at where his finger is.
Your eyes blow wide as you look at the price “Just how loaded are you?” he laughs as you hiss under your breath “The hoshi garei isn’t even the most expensive option, plus I’m paying so don’t worry about it.” you stare down at the menu, half of the items are listed at a higher price than what you normally pay for a full meal, let alone a tiny plate of sashimi.
“My treat.” your breath catches in your throat as you meet his gaze, his hands clasped under his chin and his head tilted, making him look more like a serene painting of an ethereal being, rather than a human sitting right in front of you.
Your moment is interrupted by the waiter returning with complimentary hand towels and a pot of tea “A delicious tea for a delicious girl.” he winks at you, turning away. Your lip curls down in a scowl, deeply unsettled by the interaction. Eden stares at you, irritation simmering in his gut.
How dare he even look at you, how dare he upset you, how dare he, how dare he, how dare he!
You give a dramatic shudder, playing off your discomfort “Some men, am I right?” you simply shake your head as if you’re used to it, making Eden’s anger bloom brighter and heavier. Suddenly the idea of his hands around the waiter's throat flashes through his mind, making him suck in a breath of shock.
Not shock from such a violent idea when he’s usually so quiet and passive, but shock for how good the concept felt. Disposing of anyone in his way, anyone who hurts you, anyone who makes you feel unsafe.
“Could you pick for me?” you pour a cup of tea, pushing it towards him before filling your own “I don’t know what I like and there’s so many options.” that heady feeling washes over him like a wave, the idea of you relying on him makes his knees weak “If you trust me to make a good decision, then sure.” you wave him off “I’d trust you with anything.” he drops his napkin onto his lap, his length suddenly throbbing, your blind trust in him causing his hormones to explode for the first time since he was a teen.
Eden does his best to stay collected throughout the meal, but you kept offering him the other half of your sushi when you didn’t like one and sharing your appetizer with him made his skin itch, he’s taken aback by his desperate thoughts, wanting to slot his lips against your so he can taste the inside of your mouth instead of being teased with the bites of fish that touched your lips.
Thankfully he stays calm, tamping down the urge to grovel on his knees and beg you to let him suffocate between your plush thighs.
Your mouth falls open when the check comes, only seeing a few digits before he snatches it away so you can’t feel guilty “I said it was my treat, if I need to show you my bank account to prove I can afford it I will, but you’re not allowed to fuss over the meal.” you frown, clearly feeling conflicted over the incredibly delicious but expensive choices “Plus, I picked everything out, it was my decision, not yours.” he offers you his hand, gently pulling you out of the booth and heading towards the cash register to pay.
You stare down at your locked hands, his fingers long and pale, nails perfectly trimmed and cuticles well maintained “Thanks for coming in, I hope to see you again.” you look up in time to see the same waiter wink at you as he hands you the receipt. Eden tugs you out of the restaurant, barely holding back from slamming the waiter's head into the cashier’s stand.
“Oh gross.” he freezes, slowly turning to face you, instead of staring at him in disgust like he expected, you’re holding the receipt with two fingers like it's contaminated with germs “He gave me his number.” your whole face is scrunched up, flapping the piece of paper aggressively “Get rid of it!” Eden doesn’t think twice, grabbing it and crumpling it up in a tiny ball then violently chucking it into the distance.
You shake your head “It’s like he didn’t even realize we were on a date.” he gapes at you, his mind running a mile a minute.
Wait, that was actually a date?
You slap your hand over your mouth when you see his expression “I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean that!” your face is on fire and you couldn’t be more mortified, your inner thoughts slipping out without thinking twice. Eden takes a shaky step forward “Did you want it to be a date?” he looks so hopeful, eyes glossy and wide.
You nod hesitantly, terrified you read the situation wrong, he practically sags in relief, draping his arms around your shoulders and pulling you against him “Oh thank god, I’ve been thinking about you nonstop since you spilled coffee on me.” his voice cracks “You’re never going to let me live that down are you?” he grins and shakes his head "Definitely not.” you roll your eyes “Come on lover-boy, lets go to the arcade.”.
Eden can’t shake the smile off his face for the rest of the night, clinging to you all the way through the arcade, even as you both take turns winning each other stuffed animals and toys from the claw machines. His cheeks hurt by the time you wrap up the date with a photobooth session.
“We look so cute together!” you gush over your film strip, clutching it to your chest as you wander out of the arcade “We look good together.” he corrects quietly, staring down at his own copy. The last photo was his favorite, his cheek squished up against yours and both of you beaming at the camera.
“I had fun tonight.” he says nervously, shifting back and forth on your front step. You hadn’t even noticed that he didn’t ask for directions, too busy taking pictures of your film strip to post on your social media “I did too.” you reply, your hands tucked in your pocket “Do you maybe,” he pauses, fiddling with his hair “want to date?” he dares a peek at your face “I know it's fast, this is only the second time we’ve talked and all…” Eden is sure he’d combust if you said no.
“Like… boyfriend girlfriend?” you ask, rocking back on your heels, he nods and you fling your arms around his neck “Yes! Absolutely!” he can’t resist, having you so close makes him lose the last shred of control.
Eden tangles his fingers in your hair and kisses you hard and fast, knocking the breath out of you. The passion is overwhelming, making you clutch at the front of his sweater to stabilize yourself, feeling dizzy by the rush of adrenaline.
When you part you’re both gasping, Eden’s lipgloss transferring to your own lips, leaving you both sparkly and blushing “Wow.” he whispers, eyes wide “That was my first kiss.” he admits and you cover your mouth, shocked “I’m your first kiss?” he shifts away, suddenly aware of how vulnerable he was being “That’s so sweet Eden.” you pull him back down to you, seeking more from him and he complies without resistance.
“If you keep kissing me like that you’ll be my last kiss too.” he mumbles giddily against your lips, making your laugh quietly “I’d be okay with that.” you admit, giving him another soft kiss “Could I drive you to school tomorrow?” he asks after you finally pull away, worried about coming off as clingy “That would be perfect, then we can spend more time together.” Eden is completely and irreversibly in love with you.
He makes sure to wait until you’re inside with the door locked before he heads back to his car and driving away. That simmering rage roars to life without you next to him distracting him, keeping him settled.
His car is hidden in the shadows, parked away from prying eyes as he waits for the perfect moment.
There!
The waiter opens the back entrance, hauling two large kitchen garbage bins, struggling to hoist them over his head and into the dumpster being the building. Eden is silent, sneaking up behind the bastard, clamping his hand over the waiter’s mouth and slamming a knife into his gut, over and over and over until the man's body goes limp.
Eden’s chest heaves, a maniacal grin creeping across his face as he stares down at the body, a pool of blood slowly spreading. He watches for a moment, savoring the satisfaction of protecting you before pulling out his phone.
“I need you to clean up a mess.” he pulls his sweater over his head and drops it on top of the body, a bit upset that one of his favorite cashmere tops now needed to be discarded “Yes sir, send the address and I’ll send my men to deal with it.” being rich had its perks, which he planned to use to the fullest extent now that he had you.
Thankfully his skirt and undershirt were spared, he’d hate to have to walk back to his car in just his lacey underwear and shoes.
Sure enough a few minutes later a black car pulls up, his father’s ‘fix-it man’ stepping out and surveying the scene “Goddamn Eden, what the fuck did you do?” he claps a hand on the younger man's shoulder, grimacing at the mess “He harassed my girl.” Eden says, almost proudly. The man’s eyebrows shoot up over his ray-bands “No shit? You’ve got a girl?” he grins like a proud dad “Congrats man! I was worried you’d be a loner forever! You’ll have to bring her over to meet us sometime.” Eden flushes under the praise “If things go well I’d like to have her over for dinner soon.” he admits, watching as the other men begin loading the body into a bag and erasing the evidence.
“Well if she’s good enough to catch your picky eye then I’m sure we’ll love her.” Eden earns another firm pat on the shoulder “Head on home kiddo, I’ll finish up here.” he waves goodbye and practically skips back to his car, already feeling lighter now that he had removed a nuisance from your life.

You’re jerked awake by something falling and shattering in your kitchen, you reach out to grab Sam only to find him missing. Your heart thuds violently as you stand, knees almost buckling when you hear a low, rumbling snarl.
Taking a shaky breath, you cross the hallway, trying your best to keep your footsteps light as you head towards the telephone you had recently purchased. Claws clack against the floor behind you and your whole body locks up, slowly turning to face the beast that somehow got into your house.
Instead of an average wolf like you expected, you’re face to face with a hulking bear sized, frothing at the mouth wolf. You watch as a bead of saliva drips down his jaw, teeth bared in obvious threat. A whimper escapes your mouth, chest tight, breath shallow. You had watched some sort of wilderness survival video a long time ago, tactics for when you’re in dangerous situations involving wild animals, but you could barely remember anything other than backing away slowly.
So you do, you take a step back, moving at a snail's pace. The second your foot lands, the wolf barks, loud enough that your eardrums throb, tears trickle down your cheeks, stuck in place, unable to reach the phone to call for help and unable to escape. The wolf licks its muzzle, leaning forward. You close your eyes, begging Yoba to make this quick and painless.
The front door slams open, Lewis and Willy both standing right outside holding shotguns, aimed right at the wolf “Knew you’d end up here, nasty beast.” Willy hoists the gun higher on his shoulder and the wolf crouches “Poor Jodi, no mother deserves to lose her child.” Lewis says, motioning for Willy to move inside. You’re still half-posed, knee bent and hands raised in surrender “What?” the mayor glances at you and sighs “That there is Sammy boy.” Willy butts in “Got ourselves a werewolf again.” you turn towards the wolf who's still coiled tight, ready to pounce, your angle allowing you to see the familiar warm blue eyes of your friend “Sam?” the wolf jerks in your direction, a bang and spark of light blinds you, followed by the pitiful yelp of a wounded animal.
When your vision clears, Willy and Lewis are running out the door, splatters of blood decorating your living room and smeared against the wall leading outside. You grab a lantern and follow, rain pelting down, making the air feel heavy and ominous. Another crack of gunfire lights up in the distance, encouraging you to run faster, losing one of your slippers in the mud, but you don’t stop to look back. Diving through the tangle of bushes and tight growing trees to keep up with the men hunting Sam, branches biting into your cheeks and legs as your robe falls open. Your breath comes out in staggering gasps, furiously wiping rainwater from your eyes.
You trip, your foot wedged under a root hidden under the mud and you choke on a sob, pain ripping through you violently as you wiggle it free, you didn’t think it was broken so you pull yourself upright and keep hobbling forward, vision wobbling from the pulsing ache. There’s no sound, no movements, no light. You spin around, desperately trying to catch sight of Lewis and Willy with no luck.
A quiet whimper from behind a cluster of bushes catches your attention, you squint against the onslaught of rain, hobbling forward “Sam?” you whisper. You’re greeted with another whine and a large snout pushing through the leaves, big blue eyes and soaking wet fur tucked away and hiding. You let out a sob of relief, dropping on your knees and crawling towards him “Are you okay? There was so much blood.” a large paw flattens the bush as you creep closer, giving you a clear view of his side, chunks of skin, muscle and tissue dissolved from the gunshot, bone showing in several places. It sizzles, rain turning to steam as it drips down. You cover your mouth, gagging.
Shaking off the nausea you set the lamp down, illuminating your friend in wolf form. You approach slowly, rolling up your sleeves, prepared to help however you can.
Just as you’re within reach, he lunges, heavy maw clamping around your throat with a sickening crunch. White hot blinding pain rips through you as he shakes his head, your body swinging limp as you lose consciousness, tossed back and forth like a ragdoll. His muzzle covered in your blood as he drops your body, a glint of satisfaction glimmering in his eyes as he wrenches his head back and howls. Miles away Willy and Lewis freeze, knowing the proud sound of a successful hunt.
When they find you the sun is already peaking over the horizon, Sam is naked, still wounded and bent over clutching you. His face pale as he begs you to wake up, hands desperately clutching your neck, trying to staunch an injury that long since stopped flowing blood.
He hears the click of a safety being flicked off and turns to see the mayor leveling a gun right to his forehead “Please help.” he chokes out, still not understanding what happened, terrified “Don’t worry son, I’ll make this right.” Lewis pulls the trigger and Sam’s body falls over yours, his open hand landing on top of yours, the final sign of your friendship.
“Go get Harvey, I’ll hide the boy.” Lewis pops the empty shells from the barrel “We’ll have to tell Jodi something.” Willy lowers his own gun “I’ll think of something.” they both stare down at your form, eyes glazed over and lifeless, throat torn to shreds “Poor kid, shouldn't have moved out here.” he grabs Sam under the arms and drags his body further into the forest, tucked away under the dense canopy of leaves, kicking up dirt as he heads back, erasing the evidence of the blood splatter from the gunshot.
The town gathers on your farm a week later, a small marker placed next to your grandfathers where Lewis and Willy buried you, your name carved by Leah and a sweet memorial statement chosen by Emily, who sobs into the shoulder of her sister. Clint had carefully molded a small gardening hoe and pickaxe to inlay on your gravestone, representing the hard work you’ve put in for the little community.
Alex and Sebastian stand in front of your grave, still processing. They recognize the name on the stone but they can’t comprehend never seeing you again. Penny’s lip trembles, Abigail clings to her mother. Elliott refused to leave his cabin, furiously writing his book, tears streaming down his face despite his attempts to control his emotion, he’s adamant to finish his story after you suggested a theme and he’s determined to engrave your memory in his words.
Willy and Lewis exchange hushed words next to the greenhouse, discussing the possibility of genetics and needing to keep an eye on Vincent.
Hope y'all enjoyed this horror au, it was fun to write but I know the SDV fandom isn't super active on here so I wasn't expecting very much interaction, thank you all for reading! - Ketchup
The day is spent trekking through town, taping curfew announcements to everyone’s door along with recommendations for keeping pets and livestock safe. Your feet ache by the time you meet up with Sam and Alex, both of them sweating from the thick summer heat “Did you get everyone?” you ask, wiping your forehead with the back of your hand “Yeah, nobody is missing or injured.” Sam shrugs off his jacket, fanning himself “I found a few tufts of fur and some blood trails that led to another chicken but not much else, Lewis and Linus headed out that way to check it out.” you nod “Good, I added a suggestion to stay in pairs and use the buddy system if anyone needs to go out after night. Hopefully this will help.” you feel drained, only having to shoulder a fraction of the stress, you can’t even begin to understand how Mayor Lewis must feel.
“It’s going to be okay, Lewis will figure it out and it’ll all pass.” Alex pats your shoulder, offering some comfort “I’m sure you’re right…” You trail off, glancing up to see the sun dip lower “Would you mind helping me get all my animals locked up before it gets dark?” they both agree, always eager to help.
They quietly murmur behind you as you head towards your farm, stopping to check the tree you tapped earlier that week. Your breath stutters as you brush against four large gouges in the bark “Guys?” your voice cracks and they rush to your side, Sam’s eyes widening as he sees what shook you up.
“Yoba…” Alex swears under his breath “This is so close to your farm, it’s a miracle that nothing happened.” your eyes water, the reality of how close you came to losing your animals or even your own life last night becomes clear.
Sam tucks his arm around your shoulder “Let’s get your farm secured and get you inside for the night.” you swallow. This was part of the life, wild animal attacks would be a given considering how far away from civilization Stardew Valley is, but you hadn’t really considered the possibility.
You lead the boys down the dirt path, mentally running through a checklist of everything that needs to be done when Sam comes to a stop, letting out a breath of surprise.
Following his line of sight you see Sebastian wheeling a cart full of hay towards your barn, your livestock already carefully tucked away. You rush to meet up with him as he pushes open the barn door “What are you doing?” he jumps, startled “Warn a guy before you holler like that.” he frowns, holding the door open with his foot “I figured you’d be busy taking care of everyone else, so I thought I’d make your job a little easier.” there's a light pink tinge dusting his cheeks as he scoops hay onto the feeding bench, reaching out to scratch one of the cows behind her ear.
“Didn’t know our Sebby had a hankering for farm life!” Sam reaches out to mess up Sebastian’s hair, hay dust puffing up and sparkling in the sunset “Knock it off.” he swats his friends hand away, dragging the cart back outside “I already got them milked and gathered your eggs, they’re sitting on your kitchen table and I tossed some feed in the coop too, your cat is inside too. Just lock everything up and go home, if you hear anything call for help, don’t go outside by yourself even if you think your animals are in danger.” he stares you down, serious as ever “Of course, thank you Sebastian.” usually you’d let him go on his way but your appreciation and stress overrides and you wrap your arms around him in a hug.
His whole body goes rigid and you pull away quickly, sniffling “Sorry, I know you’re not very affectionate.” he blinks, eyes wide. A beat of silence passes, Alex and Sam trying to hide their amusement. Sebastian coughs, looking away “Yeah, whatever. No worries.” as he brushes past you he bumps his arm against your shoulder “Stay safe tonight farmer.” you give him a weak smile watching as he heads out.
“Are you going to be okay alone tonight? I could swing by and ask if Penny would want to stay with you?” Alex asks as you drop the heavy wood latch, sealing your livestock in for the night. You shake your head “She should stay with her mom, I wouldn’t want anyone to be away from their family when we’re dealing with so much.” Sam perks up “My dad is home with my family so I could stay with you!” Alex frowns “I can’t, I should be home with my grandparents just in case.” you give him a quick hug “That’s fine, I wouldn’t want Evelyn and George to be alone, they need a big strong gridball player to keep them safe.” he grins at that, raising an arm to flex dramatically “Yeah, definitely!” he gives you two a quick wave before jogging back home.
“Sooo do you want me to stay?” Sam reminds you of an excited puppy, grinning down at you hopefully “If you really want to, I’ve got a spare bed in the attic if you want to crash here.” he pumps his fist “Awesome! Sleepover!” he follows you inside, beelining for your fridge to steal some snacks and a Joja pop.
You part ways after giving him the remote, wanting to shower and change into clean clothes. As you step in the shower your automatic lights flick on, indicating the sun had finally gone down. Your throat tightens, an uncontrollable anxiety flooding your system causing you to rush through your shower, a few bubbles still stuck to your skin as you dry off and get your pajamas on.
Sam already has a movie queued up, your favorite blanket folded on the other side of the couch and a hot cup of tea ready for you “That was fast,” he turns to glance at you, a snort escaping him “You still have soap in your hair.” you brush your hand over your scalp, feeling the suds pop against your skin “I got it.” he leads you back to the bathroom and grabs a washcloth, getting it wet and helping you lean over the sink “You’re really shaken up huh?” he asks, the tap running slightly muffles his voice “I’m not used to this, there weren’t exactly a lot of feral wolves in the city.” he laughs softly, combing his fingers through your hair “Truth is,” he hesitates, his hand stalling “I’m terrified.” he turns off the faucet, grabbing the towel you had used earlier so he can dry your hair.
“Harvey and Willy had cleaned up a lot of the mess and Pierre had already scrubbed the front of his shop by the time you got there.” he takes a seat on the closed toilet lid, hands clasped under his chin “It was like a scene from a horror movie.” Sam’s face pales slightly “I threw up in the bushes when I saw.” he dips his head, ashamed.
You kneel in front of him “That’s okay, I would have too.” he looks away “But I’m supposed to be strong.” you rest your hand on his knee “It’s stronger to admit fear than it is to hide it, being vulnerable is more difficult.” he sniffs, his eyes watering “I was so scared.” he whispers, finally facing you. His hands tremble as he laces his fingers with yours “Come on, lets go sit down.” you gently pull him up, leading him back to the couch.
He curls into your side, tucking himself as close as he could to you and presses play on the movie. Some movie geared towards children, bright colors and warm dialog are a testament to how shaken up he is. You both fall asleep like that, leaning against each other with the end credits playing in the background.
It was chaos in the town square. Evelyn and George hover near the edge whispering to themselves, Jodi and Robin both stand guard at the sidewalks to keep people from walking through the scene. Harvey is in the middle, pointing at certain things in the mangled mass of gore sprawled across the ground, Mayor Lewis nodding gravely.
Alex is the first to spot you and rushes over, his face pale. “What happened?” you ask, just barely finished with your morning chores and you're already wanting to turn around and head back home.
“A bunch of animals were torn to bits. Birds, squirrels, rabbits, even a few goats from Marnie's.” you peer around his shoulder and sure enough you could see one of the bells that was once around a goats neck, laying in a puddle of blood.
Sam joins you, positioning himself in front of you so you can't keep gawking “Don’t look, you’ll make yourself sick.” his own face looked rather green “Did anyone get hurt?” he shakes his head, his knuckles white as he clutches his skateboard “Just animals. Linus thinks a wolf did it, but nobody can figure out why a wild animal would pile up its prey like this.” he jerks his thumb over his shoulder. Alex pats his back comfortingly, both of them too sweet and soft to handle this kind of carnage.
“Are you positive nobody was injured? Did Mayor Lewis do a headcount?” you press, concern flaring for the few citizens that enjoyed wandering around at night as well as the children “That’s a good idea, I’ll ask him.” Alex heads off towards the Mayor, trying his best not to look at the mauled animals.
You shift closer to Sam and he wraps his arm around your shoulder “Linus lives in a tent, we should figure out a way to keep him safe until the wolf is relocated.” you say, leaning against him. He nods “Yeah, me and Shane were talking about hosting Linus in our houses for a few days, just so he isn’t out in the open but Linus won’t go for it.” you sigh, the man was stubborn to say the least.
The two of you watch as people slowly disperse, leaving just a few stragglers that Mayor Lewis asked to stick around to discuss a plan of action.
He waves you over, his hands clasped behind his back. Harvey gives you a comforting smile and pats your shoulder “Glad to see you’re okay. Your idea about doing a headcount is good, I appreciate you stepping up in this moment of chaos.” you just nod, tucking your hands in your pockets, the chilly air making your fingers start to numb “Alex,” he turns to the man “I’ll task you with going around and checking off the names of everyone you see.” Alex takes the clipboard that Harvey holds out “And Sam, I want you to check all the properties for any signs of damage or evidence, take someone with you just in case the wolf is still lurking around the woods.” Sam nods and both the boys turn their separate ways.
“I’d appreciate it if you’d work with me on getting a town announcement set up for a curfew. Wolves are more active at night so we should keep people inside as much as possible after sundown.” Mayor Lewis focuses on you “I know you’ve already got your hands full with the old community center and your own farmland, but we need all the help we can get.” his voice is grave.
“Of course Mayor, I’m happy to help. This is serious and we need to protect the town.” he sighs “It’s been a long time since we’ve dealt with wolves, it’s a real shame that you’re having to deal with it.” you frown “Has this happened before?” he motions for you to follow him as he walks.
“When I was a boy, a pack of wolves came through town and tore through our livestock for three full days. It wrecked our community and changed lives for so long. We had more people living here back then, but many people had to move away afterwards, unable to recoup the financial losses.” you press your hand to your mouth “That’s awful, I never knew that. Grandpa never said anything about it..." he continues down the sidewalk with you trailing slightly behind “Probably because it happened in his childhood as well, he had to go through it twice.” your eyes widen “He would’ve been about ten years old the first time, if I remember correctly. His father, your great-grandpa, was part of the hunting team that went out searching for the wolves.” this was the first time you’d heard much about your grandfather's childhood.
“The second time, I would’ve been about thirteen,” he pauses, mentally calculating “So that would make your grandfather around twenty-eight.” Mayor Lewis comes to a stop in front of a bench, taking a seat “I can only imagine his shock and fear.” he shakes his head sadly “It’s truly a shame that our town is rocked with it yet again.” you take a seat next to him “Both times it lasted for three nights, but I feel like it would be best to issue a curfew until the wolf is caught, just in case.” he stares out at the horizon, suddenly looking very aged “I’m sorry you have to go through this again Mayor. I’ll help in any way I can.”.
You have a moment of gratitude knowing your grandpa wouldn’t have to see this a third time “How about I pop around to the other farmers and tell them to get barbed wire and other protection for their animals? Maybe that would cut down on the casualties, encourage the wolf to look elsewhere for food?” he sighs again.
“You should be the Mayor at this point, you’ve come up with fantastic ideas while I’m fretting over the past instead of taking action.” you turn to face him “Looking at the past is important to prepare for the future, you have experience and knowledge, that’s valuable in this situation. Just keep delegating tasks, make us feel helpful and it’ll reduce the panic. We all trust you.” Mayor Lewis smiles “Thank you dear, I appreciate your kindness. Go ahead and talk to the farmers.” you stand “Leave it to me. We’ll get through this.” he waves you off, ready to get started on his own tasks.
You sigh, phone tucked between your shoulder and ear and you slide your shoes on, listening to a new voicemail your ex had left.
“I don't know what's wrong with me, I really don't. I felt like I was trying hard, like I was putting in effort but I guess I wasn’t.”
His voice stalls, cracking.
“You deserve better than me, you always did.”
That was new. His messages always consist of self-deprecation and vague apologies, rarely ever actually saying anything of value.
“I started therapy.”
Your fingers freeze on your shoelaces, your half finished knot falling limp.
“I realized that I wouldn't get you back, no matter what bullshit I said. So Shiu gave me the number for someone.”
Your insufferable, selfish, gambling addict ex, was seeing a therapist? This was something you had begged him to do when you were still clinging to hope that the relationship could work.
“I was pissed, I told him to fuck off and that I wasn't a pussy.”
That sounded a lot more accurate and in character for the person you knew.
“But he told me to get my shit together or I’d end up hurting someone else worse than I hurt you. I guess it shook me up enough that I ended up on a couch talking about my feelings ‘n shit.”
You sit on the ground, pulling your knees up to your chest. Everything about this conversation frustrated you, filling you with a burning agony. It took you leaving for him to pull his head out of his ass, like he only cared about how he made you feel after you were long gone.
“And I already know you're probably thinking that I'm an asshole for taking this long to do it.”
That draws a watery laugh out of you. Despite him being an awful boyfriend, he still knew you so well it was scary.
“But uh… my therapist said I should stop calling you.”
Something tugs in your chest. Even though you didn't want him back, you still sat and listened to every single one of his messages, never answering when he called and never blocking him. You still clung to the good days, when the relationship was stable.
“He said it was selfish of me to keep doing this so he suggested I leave one last message to give myself closure.”
His voice cracks again, like he's holding back tears and you press your palm against your mouth. In the five years of dating and one year of being broken up, this was the most vulnerable he had ever been.
“I also wanted to say that I started AA, I got my week chip today. I haven't bet a dime in seven days. I thought it was stupid to get a reward for such a small thing but I've kept it in my pocket for the whole day, I guess I'm proud of myself.”
You blink harshly, trying to fight back the need to start crying. You were proud of him too.
“So yeah. This is goodbye. I guess I just wanted you to know everything, ‘specially since I haven't called in awhile.”
That's true, you hadn't gotten spammed with voicemails for a solid three weeks, leaving you wondering if he found a new walking wallet.
“You should be getting a wire transfer soon too, all the money I borrowed from you, plus interest. After my last session I felt nauseous, went home and laid on that shitty bed you kept asking me to throw out, remembered all the times you asked me to do little things and I'd refuse, only to turn around and ask so much of you.”
Another truth. Sometimes you'd ask for a small thing, for him to make you breakfast or rub your back, and he’d click his tongue and call you a baby.
“I hurt you real bad. I ruined what could have been my one shot at peace. I'm laying here now thinking about if I had just listened to you the first time you asked me to go to therapy. We'd probably be in a nice house, one of those suburban ones with the white picket fences ‘n everything. I'd probably have slid a big shiny rock on your finger too.”
You can hear him crying now. His voice wavering uncomfortably, voice hitching as he talks, lips trembling. Tears slip freely down your own cheeks.
“I want you to know that I'm not getting better for someone new, I don't think I'll ever move on from you. But I want to get better for me, then maybe I won't break everything I touch.”
He goes silent and you pull the phone away, checking to see if that was the end of the message.
“Apologies won't fix what I did baby, and I hope to God you never forgive me because I don't deserve another chance. But I did love you, just in the wrong way.”
That's when it does end, leaving you staring at your voicemail box, hands shaking, sobbing over a man you had left a year ago.

Toji steps through the front doors of the church, still pausing as if he expects to catch on fire the second his foot touches holy ground. His boots thud against the stairs as he heads downstairs, the smell of hot coffee and musty books now feeling familiar. “Welcome back everyone! I'm glad to see our usuals are still returning, as well as some new faces.” he takes his spot near the back, hands sweaty.
“I'd like to open the floor for people to share today. As always, nobody is required to speak, only encouraged.” the woman smiles warmly and Toji works up the courage to stand, earning a round of applause.
“Hello, I'm Fushiguro Toji.” a chorus of welcomes and hellos follow “I'm eight months clean from gambling. I'd been gambling for over a decade before I decided to get help.” another round of applause eases the tension in his chest “I fucked up a good person and used them to fuel my addiction, I lost friends and refused to work hard to earn my money.” he sucks in a breath looking down at his dirty boots “But I've got a full time job now, I pay my rent on time and I've even made some real friends.” the applause this time are almost deafening and his face splits into a grin.
After the meeting is over he tosses his empty cup in the trash, giving a quick nod to the host and heading back to his truck.
“So how did AA go today Toji?” his therapist asks as he tries to get comfortable on the stiff couch “Pretty good I think, I finally spoke.” his therapist gasps “That's a huge accomplishment, how are you feeling about the interaction?” Toji leans back, finally situated.
“Like I should've done this sooner.” they share a laugh, his therapist jotting down a few notes “And is work still going well?” he nods “Yeah, I feel like it is. I got hired on for a longer contract renovating some rentals so I think I'm doing a good enough job that my boss trusts me, and I went out for drinks with my coworkers last weekend.” his therapist raises his eyebrow “That's also a big deal, you rarely choose to socialize outside of a professional setting.” If Toji was slightly more soft he'd probably be blushing under the well-earned praise “I figured I should give it a shot ‘ya know, couldn't hurt to try. I only had two beers and then got a cab home, I was real responsible.” Toji finds himself grinning again.
The rest of the session is spent going over struggle areas and working through some repressed emotions, leaving him exhausted but satisfied.
~
His arm aches as he sits on the flap of his truck, finally getting a break for lunch. The sun was hot and the rental building he was working on didn't have AC yet so the breeze felt fantastic against his sweaty skin. Toji tears open a mandarin, separating the wedges and tossing the peel back in his cooler for him to put in his compost bin when he got home.
“Toji?” he freezes, that familiar voice stirring up so many emotions all at once. You step into his line of sight, holding a bag of groceries “It is you.” he almost pops the wedge of fruit in his hand, suddenly feeling very exposed.
“Are you eating a mandarin?” you stare at the man in shock, this was the first time you'd seen him eating something healthy, usually sticking to fast food or frozen meals.
Toji nods weakly, his throat feeling oddly tight as you scan him up and down “And you're working?” you jerk your elbow towards the tool belt sitting next to him and the hardhat perched on his knee.
“Y-yeah, I'm doing construction now.” he curses himself for letting his voice crack like that “Did you move?” he glances at the groceries you hold, his heart racing as you hesitate and glance towards the building he had just come out of “Yeah, me and my fiance started renting here a few weeks ago.” he feels like his heart just shot into his throat, his worst nightmare actually coming true. Toji keeps himself composed, refusing to saddle you with his inner turmoil.
“That's cool, it's a good place, the wiring is up to date and the insulation is great.” his eyes flicker around, unable to settle on your face for more than a second, making your own heart ache “D’ya need help carrying your bags? I'm already done with my lunch so I've got some time to spare.” you glance at the empty container that had a few remnants of a salad “Sure, I guess, if you're willing?” he hops up, happy to be near you again.
You let him take the larger bag, still reeling from the drastic changes. Eating healthy, holding down a serious job, owning a decent truck, helping you carry bags and not saying anything snarky about your relationship, the complete opposite of what you expected.
He follows you towards the elevator, allowing you in first “Which floor?” his finger hovers over the buttons “Fourth.” you watch him from the corner of your eye. His demeanor is much more timid than what you were used to, almost as if he was trying to make himself smaller, keeping as close to the opposite wall as possible. In the time that you had known him you became used to how much space he took up both physically and emotionally. But now he shifts on his feet awkwardly, keeping his eyes respectfully above your shoulders and overall being polite.
The elevator dings, doors opening to your floor. Toji carefully takes the other bag so you can pull your keys out from your purse and you take note of the fact that his gaze doesn't linger on the flash of your wallet. He stands outside the apartment for a moment, patiently waiting for you to invite him in and when you do, he nudges off his boots, lining them up on the doormat so he doesn't get your floors dirty.
“The construction is two floors up so you shouldn't get bothered by any of the noise, but if you have any issues with your electricity come straight to me, our crew is tearing down some walls so there's a chance we'll need to re-wire stuff, it shouldn't be a problem for you but still.” he begins separating the groceries into piles, refrigerated items on one side, pantry items on the other. You watch him silently as he fills the empty silence, his nerves clear as day. When he catches you looking he dips his head down, fingers curling around the edge of the paper bag.
“You look like you're doing really well, Toji.” you say gently, leaning against the kitchen island, he blinks, chewing his lower lip “I think I am, I feel better.” you smile softly, patting the back of his hand “I'm proud of you.” his heart cracks a little bit, every inch of his body itching to cradle you against his chest and apologize until you take him back.
The front door opens and your eyes light up “Dear? I'm home, do we have a guest?” a man walks in, loosening his tie and moving to your side, pressing a chaste kiss against your forehead “This is Toji.” you lift your hand towards your ex and the man's eyes narrow briefly “I’m doing construction here and offered to help carry groceries.” Toji shifts backwards, already wanting to leave “Ah, well that's kind of you. I appreciate you helping my fiance.” the subtle claim on you doesn't go unnoticed by Toji and he acknowledges it by taking another step back “It was nice to meet you, and it was nice seeing you again.” he glances at you before leaving.
“He doesn't seem as bad as you said he was.” you nod in agreement “Yeah, I think he's finally taking care of himself.” you lean against your partner’s chest and he leans down to give you another kiss “Why are you home so early? I thought your court case was supposed to run long.” he groans and moves to the fridge, looking for a can of soda “It was ridiculous, they asked for another continuance, this is the third time.” he shakes his head, cracking open the tab “The judge is getting fed up and I think the defense attorney is too.” you rub his back “I'm sorry Romi, I know this case has you stressed.” he sets down his drink and wraps his arms around you, swaying gently “Mmh, but if I get to come home to my sweet fiance then it's all worth it.” you laugh, tucking your head under his chin, his arms feeling like home.
TW: Free use, minor degradation, sex, OOC Sylus and Zayne, rough/mean language and manhandling, oral, anal, orgy (technically?), exhibitionism/voyeurism, double penetration, creampies, unprotected sex. It's nasty and dirty, y'all get it.
Sylus is the first to arrive home, the door swinging shut behind him with a loud bang. A sign of a rough mission. You’re already slipping your pants down when he storms into the bedroom, his belt buckle clicking aggressively as he rips it loose.
“Good, you’re learning.” he doesn’t wait, just pushing you down on your stomach, swiping your panties to the side, not bothering to prep you, a shiny gloss already eagerly waiting for him.
He shudders as he slides in, tension rolling off him in waves as he snaps his hips forward, his hands gripping the fat of your hips, pulling your body back to meet his thrusts. Your toes curl as Sylus shifts his angle, pounding deep enough to have you seeing stars.
A low groan rumbles out of him, his head tilting back in pleasure. Nothing eases his stress faster than using you however he wanted, your hole built to take him over and over. He bends, pressing his chest to your back, hitting a spot so much deeper than before and you almost yelp, your voice catching in your throat, so overwhelmed with his fullness.
Sylus cards his fingers through your hair, tugging back to pull your lips up to his own, messy kisses leaving your mouth wet with his spit as he pants against your skin, desperately rutting into you.
The door creaks open again, a new man watching you getting wrecked on the bed “I want her next.” you’re just barely able to crane your head to see Zayne slowly unbuttoning his sleeves, rolling them up his forearms and loosening his tie, an action that makes you pulse around Sylus’s cock.
He snarls, biting your shoulder “Pay attention to me, not him.” he grits out, angry your focus shifted away, his movements becoming more frantic, chasing his release “Greedy little hunter, maybe I’ll use you and won’t bother with your pleasure." a sharp thrust knocks the wind out of you, leaving you clawing at the sheets “Hurry and finish.” Zayne says sharply, folding his glasses and setting them on the side table, crossing his arms in irritation.
Sylus glares at the man, his muscles rippling as he fucks you in front of Zayne. Despite his obvious anger, his cock betrays him, filling you past the brim, his cum leaking out in a steady stream as he pulls out. You whimper, thighs shaking and cheeks burning as Zayne looks down at you, ever stoic.
“So messy.” he murmurs, swiping his finger through the cum spilling out, slowly fucking it back into your twitching hole “Do you want more?” you nod, thoughts already muddling, not caring how many times they share you. He lets out a quiet hum of approval “We’ve trained you so well, haven’t we?” Zayne runs his other hand up and down your spine, making you arch further into his fingers still dutifully returning the cum.
Sylus tucks himself back into his pants, taking a seat in one of the comfortable recliners across from the bed, smirking as you lose yourself.
“So pretty like this,” Zayne presses a kiss to your shoulder, withdrawing his fingers “So submissive, so easy to use.” the thick head of his cock stretches you, a delicious burn. In comparison to Sylus, he stays calm at first, working you open to avoid any discomfort, even though you had taken him so many times.
When he no longer feels resistance, pleased to have molded you to his own shape and successfully replacing Sylus in your lust fueled haze, he snaps. Hand tangling in your hair so much rougher than his counterpart had, his other hand curling around your cheeks, his fingers pressing down on your tongue as he fucks you senseless.
Zayne brackets your thigh with one knee, allowing him to piston into you at such speed and ferocity that your vision blurs with tears. He curses under his breath, feeling your drool slide down his finger. It’s not enough for him. Zayne moves, shoving your body into a new position, forcing your knees to your chest as he manhandles you onto your back. A fire of desire burning in his eyes.
“I’m going to ruin you, my pretty doll.” he thrusts back into you, slapping his palm down on your clit, making you whine in embarrassment from the lewd wet noises that follow. Zayne’s hand returns to your cheek, sliding his thumb between your parted lips, his eyes falling closed as you swirl your tongue around it, gently biting it and sucking it deeper into your mouth.
Sylus shifts, his pants tightening once again, palming himself as he catches a glimpse of your hole swallowing Zayne’s cock so easily.
More footsteps only heighten your embarrassment, this would be the first time you’d been seen by more than two of the men. Zayne’s grip on your face tightens, refusing to let you look at who just entered, only able to guess it was at least two that joined the steamy room.
His other hand comes down on your clit again, making your thighs clench around his chiseled waist, a tightness forming in your stomach as he continues his assault on your sensitive bud.
“Let them watch you make a mess on my cock,” his pace is brutal, combined with the aggressive stimulation on your clit has you squirting, soaking his stomach and the sheets. He grins, pearly white teeth on display, pride making his chest thrum as he slams deep inside you, his tip twitching as he cums.
Your whole body feels warm and fuzzy as he pulls out, leaving your hole on full display for everyone to see. “Our cutie looks wrecked.” you turn to face the door, Rafayel leaning against the doorframe with Xavier’s chin propped on his shoulder, both staring at you with hooded eyes and eager cocks.
Xavier is the first of the two to move, yanking his hoodie over his head, always one to seek as much skin to skin contact as possible. He kicks off his pants and presses himself to your side, winding his arms around your waist and maneuvering you to have your back against his chest, your cheeks cupping his length as he slowly ruts back and forth.
Rafayel joins you on the other side, also having discarded his clothes, hiking your leg over his bare waist “Think you can take us both cutie?” Xavier responds for you, letting out a whine, pressing his face into the nape of your neck, inhaling your scent. Xavier pushes in first, making your breath hitch at the intrusion, he stalls, bottomed out, already shaking from the tightness wrapped around him. Rafayel grins, already planning to fight for your attention. He slides in next, his pelvis flush to your clit.
Your head falls back against Xavier’s shoulder, feeling dizzy from the new sensation of fullness from both holes. A sharp gasp is ripped from you as they begin moving, paced so perfectly that they fuck into you at the same time, forcing you to take them in tandem.
Xavier leaves sloppy kisses all over your throat, sure to leave his usual decoration of blooming reds and purples. Of all the men, Xavier was the most desperate to mark you up, needing to cover you in as many hickeys he could fit. Rafayel preferred to be the canvas, which reflects in his actions as he claims your head, pulling you towards his chest for you to sink your teeth into the pale skin under his collarbone.
He moans, loud and unabashed, Xaviar moving to your shoulder blades to continue his own artwork. You pull back for just long enough to suck in a breath of air, returning to Rafayel’s smooth skin, happy to mark him as your own.
The bed dips and you glance to the side, met with Caleb’s greedy gaze, his cock pulled out of his sweatpants, slapping his bare stomach. Probably just returning from the gym.
“Let’s see if our pretty toy can take another.” your eyes widen, lust clouding your rational thinking, just wanting more of them. Rafayel and Xavier shift, keeping you speared between them but allowing enough space for Caleb to situate himself on his knees, lifting your leg off Rafayel’s waist and tossing it over his own shoulder.
Caleb leans forward, pressing his cock up against Rafayel’s, they both twitch, Rafayel watches the man, waiting for him to move. Xavier bucks into you, uncaring of the other two, just needing to be as close to you as possible.
Rafayel pulls halfway out, allowing Caleb to slowly ease into your hole, both cocks pressed so tightly together that they moan in unison. Your hands scramble for purchase, tears of pleasure leaking down your cheeks which Rafayal licks off, excited to see this reaction.
“More, give us more.” Rafayel encourages Caleb, both men sliding in deeper, stretching you impossibly wider, you grab Xavier’s hip, nails digging in hard enough to make him whimper, the bite of pain sending ripples down his spine.
Your senses are filled with the three men abusing your holes, each feeling so familiar, this position allowing you to experience them in such a different way, leaving you breathless, sobbing and somehow still craving more.
Truly, they had all trained you perfectly to fit their needs and made you addicted to them.
Rafayel fills you before the other two, his cum unable to slip out from how tightly stuffed you were with two cocks. He stays inside, relishing in the overstimulation of you pulsing around him and the feeling of Caleb’s cock rutting against his, making him cum again just seconds later.
Caleb follows suit, rolling his hips deep enough that his balls press against Rafayel’s, making them both cum in sync, Rafayel reduced to trembles and flushed skin as he falls back, his cock finally slipping free, coated in a mess of you, Caleb and himself.
Caleb pulls out, dropping down next to Rafayel, watching as Xavier humps into you like a rabbit in heat.
Your sweet sleepy boy is desperate, his teeth and tongue scraping over your skin, his hips pressing in so deep that you swear you can feel him in your stomach. He’s whining so loudly that his voice cracks, his hand pawing at your chest, fingers pinching your nipples, mouth moving to your earlobe, sinking his teeth into the sensitive flesh, making you arch and gasp.
Xavier’s hand slips back down, grabbing your ass so roughly it surprises you, pushing you back on your stomach so he can rut into you deeper, his knees on either side of your thighs, palming your cheeks apart to watch his cock disappear into your tiny hole. His balls soaked with the mess between your legs.
Sylus and Zayne share a look, used to Xavier’s stamina by now and knowing that they’d end up having to nurse you both back to consciousness.
Xavier’s head falls down, lips parted, panting so hard that drool pools at the corner of his mouth, his tongue flicking out to catch it. He’s so lost that he doesn’t realize had had coaxed two orgasms out of you until your hips buck up as you squirt for a second time that night, overstimulated.
The feeling of you clamping down on his cock as his eyes rolling back, he slumps over, pinning you under him as his efforts double, so fast that you can’t even feel where he ends and you begin. You reach back to cup the back of his neck, earning another whimper as he tucks his face against your throat, licking messily at your skin until his hips finally stutter to a stop, pumping you full.
True to Zayne and Sylus’s assumption, you and Xavier both slip under, equally overstimulated and wrecked. Xavier still cradling you under him.
Since smut was highly requested for content I figured I'd treat y'all. I was going to post this on valentines day but I've been busy with college, RIP. Enjoy the slutty fic. - Ketchup
You had trudged back to the Cleaners headquarters, disheartened after Fu had bolted away from you. It wasn’t completely unsurprising considering how fragile he seemed, but it still left you feeling at a loss, like you didn’t do enough to help.
What you didn’t know is that Fu slipped into your shadow so seamlessly that he managed to follow you all the way home without you noticing. He only parted ways when you were within sight of the building, at that point Fu thought you safe enough for him to leave. After that he somehow always managed to trail after you, finding you everywhere, no matter how far you went. Of course he stayed silent, never approaching too close. He convinced himself that this was a recon mission, to find out your plans and how much you knew.
Fu knew it was a lie. He found himself feeling itchy, his skin too tight and his breathing too shallow when he went too long without seeing you. His odd symptoms only easing when he hovered near you, watching you.
Over the weeks of his repetitive schedule he had managed to convince himself that he was the one you knew as a child. That was the only logical reason why he felt so safe with you, why you cared about him, why he needed to be near you.
Because you’re his long lost big sister, obviously.
His lips curl up in a grin, giggling to himself, tucked away behind an empty food cart as you chat with a street merchant. Fu’s favorite part of the week was when you’d go to town to buy supplies and gifts. He liked listening to you talk to people, though he struggled with an odd violent feeling that would bubble up when you spent too much time talking to someone.
You tuck a bundle of fabric into your bag “Thanks! I’ll come back next week when you have more of that gold fabric in stock, I’m sure August would love to have some.” you wave to the seller and head down the street to your next stop.
Humming as you check off your to-do list, the sound of a trashcan falling over startles you. Turning to look down a grimy alley you see a filthy, scrawny child shoving rotted food into his mouth “Yo! Don’t eat that, you’ll get sick!” the child literally hisses at you, hunched over on his hands and feet like a street cat.
“I really need to stop taking care of strays.” you mumble to yourself as you crouch down “Do you want fresh food?” you ask, making sure to speak slowly in case the boy didn’t understand you. He stays crouched and ready to run, equally scared and territorial, wanting to protect his meal “Here,” you roll a can of food towards him, something you had picked up earlier in the day “It’s canned chicken.” the boy snatches it, immediately trying to crack it open with his teeth, gnawing on the metal.
You laugh quietly “Not like that,” you mime cracking the tab on top of the can and peeling it back “You open it with your hands.” the child stares at you for a moment so you repeat your words and actions until he finally moves to copy you.
You give him a thumbs up when he succeeds and starts shoveling the meat in his mouth “Great job little dude!” you roll another can towards him and stand up “See you next week!” you head off, already starting a new list of foods you can add to your bag in case you need to feed more kids in the future.
A sickening crunch stalls you, the sound making your gut churn for unknown reasons. You turn back, rushing to where you left the child.
You stare down the alley, wide eyed, heart pounding.
Fu stands there, holding the limp body of the boy in his arms. The child’s neck hanging at an unnatural angle, a wild, manic look in Fu’s eyes. The empty can of chicken falls from the child's hand and rolls forward, hitting your shoe.
“You stole my precious sister's attention.” your thoughts are frayed, trying your best to piece together the situation so you can react properly, but everything feels like static, unable to even move your hand to dial the Cleaners.
“She’s mine! My sister! Mine!” Fu violently shakes the dead boy, screaming in rage as if the child could still hear. At last, your body responds, pressing your thumb against the metal of your bracelet, sending an emergency signal to Seimu who would instantly dispatch the team to your location.
Fu drops the body, finally seeing you standing there, his painted mask smudged, hair messy and clothes dirty. He looked unkempt, feral, like he hadn’t been taking care of himself.
“My sister is here!” his voice changes immediately, coming out in a singsong tone as he sways back and forth, eyes softening “My sister…” Fu stumbles forward, almost tripping over his victim “My big sister.” he grabs the front of your shirt “You can’t give anyone else your attention, only me.” you swallow, trying your best to stay calm “I’m sorry Fu, I shouldn’t have shared my food with him.” trying your best to appease him, your gaze drags back to the little boy on the ground.
Fu nods aggressively, his hands clamping down on your shoulders “Right! Right! You understand so well!” you hope he can’t feel your shaking as you pat his head. He wraps his arms around your waist, rocking back and forth, his grip so tight you can feel your chest rattle as you try to suck in air.
“Fu,” you gasp, eyes watering as he squeezes harder “Fu I can’t breathe!” you thrash, hands pressing against his shoulders, struggling to inhale “I won’t let you go, big sister.” your vision curls in on the edges, lungs screaming at the lack of oxygen.
The pressure is gone in a split second and you collapse, sucking in desperately, coughing. You look up to see Zanka pinning Fu down, his knees trapping Fu’s arms. Enjin smacks your back as you wheeze “You good?” he asks, eyebrows furrowed and you nod, ribs aching.
“Let me go! Don’t touch her! Don’t touch my sister!” Fu thrashes violently, screaming and sobbing, snapping his teeth back at Zanka, a stark contrast to the quiet and timid boy you had been caring for.
Enjin helps you to your feet “He killed a little boy,” you say, pointing at the alley “His name is Fu, he works for the Raiders.” Follo and Gris both cross their arms, sharing a look with the other two men, sure to bombard you with questions later on.
“Let’s get him to headquarters, let Corvus question him and figure out what to do.” at Enjin’s words Fu begins to squirm harder, managing to free one hand and claws at the cobblestone path, trying to crawl towards you.
“Don’t let them hurt me!” a flicker of that familiar personality slips through, the mania falling from his eyes, shattering into the recognizable skittish fear that you were accustomed to “They won’t hurt you Fu.” you say quietly, still feeling sympathy for him, even though he almost killed you and did kill an innocent child.
Raw betrayal floods his face as you watch Zanka and Gris to manhandle him into the back of their truck, binding his hands and feet.
He snaps, once again changing personalities “I’ll kill you! I’ll gut you open! If I can’t have my big sister then no one can!” his voice is cut off as Gris slams the door shut, but you can see Fu screaming through the window, slamming his head against the glass until he knocks himself out.
“You have a lot of explaining to do.” you nod weakly, feeling dazed, turning back to look at the little boy.
“Follo will take you home, go to the medbay and rest. We’ll take care of the rest.” Enjin drops his hand on your shoulder “Corvus is sure to want a meeting after you’ve recovered, just get checked up first.” Follo offers you his arm to lean on, guiding you to the second car where Rudo and Riyo both sat in the back, not being needed.
You can feel Riyo's eyes burning into the back of your skull but you don’t have the energy to confront her, or Follo, who sends you worried looks from the driver's seat the whole way home.
I hope y'all enjoyed this. I had originally planned for this to be a Rudo fic before he got tossed off the sphere, but I ended up tweaking it for Fu.

Fu’s fingers bleed from how long he had been digging through trash. Zodyl sent him out yet again, this time as punishment for almost getting caught by a Cleaner. Fu had been told not to come back until he filled three bags with worthwhile salvage, he’d been out there for two days at that point, only managing to scrape together one bag full.
“I’ll never find enough.” he whimpers, sucking his finger into his mouth to staunch the bleeding “This is impossible.” tears well up, always quick to melt down when faced with even the smallest struggle, but he had been strong, choking them back this whole time. It was too much at this point, he was hungry, tired and worst of all, useless.
“I recognize that teary voice.” he yelps, ducking down to hide behind the half destroyed pillar he was resting against “I thought I told you not to get hurt again?” you tsk as you lean over the rubble to look at the quivering mess of a boy.
“G-go away!” you tilt your head “Or what?” he curls his hands into fists and scrambles to his feet “I’ll fight you! I’ll beat you up if you do-don’t leave me alone!” you hoist yourself over the crumbling stone to stand in front of him “That’s a shame, I felt like we bonded last time.” you grin, frustrating him “Come on,” you settle on the ground, criss-crossed “You can fight me after I get you patched up.” you pat the spot next to you “No use fighting if you have a handicap that holds you back right?” you watch as he slowly loosens his aggressive stance.
He moves forward, once again finding himself being coddled by you “Why are you helping me again?” he asks, you clean the dried blood out from under his nails “I was worried about you when I left you last time.” his heart seizes uncomfortably, a sensation of warmth he had never felt before.
“You reminded me of someone I couldn’t help.” he winces as you swab an alcohol pad over his cuts and you pull away, allowing him to adjust before resuming “Who couldn’t you help?” his tension seems to melt away under your careful attention “I think it was my little brother. It’s been so long though, it could’ve just been a friend or just someone that ended up at my side.” your eyebrows pull down as you struggle to recall your own memories.
“I know I shared food with him and helped care for him, but I don’t remember what he looked like.” Fu shifts closer “I know that I loved him dearly.” his breath hitches.
You loved someone.
“What happened?” you hands still, still holding his in your palm so gently “One day he was there, the next he was gone.” you swallow, moving to wrap bandages around Fu’s fingers “I remember running around the town asking everyone I could find about him, checking every alleyway we used to sleep in, searching for answers.” you carefully set Fu’s hand down “But street rats don’t get much attention, so nobody noticed he had even left.” you shrug and hand him a water bottle “That’s life though, can’t do anything about it now.” he takes it from you, fumbling with the cap before greedily gulping it down.
“What does Zodyl have you doing this time? Do you need help?” he chokes on the water, coughing violently.
That’s right, you know.
He looks around, eyes wide and panicked, expecting to see Cleaners rise over the trash piles to capture him for information “It’s just me.” you hold out your hand to show your bare wrist where your communication bracelet once hung “No way for me to even call them here. It’s just you and me.” his fingers flex, still choosing to move away, feeling safer with some distance.
“We’re enemies.” you shrug again “I don’t know you or the raiders well enough to deem you my enemy.” you say, leaning back against the stone pillar behind you “But your team hates us.” you nod, rummaging through your bag “They sure do.” you pull out a cookie wrapped in plastic and toss it into his lap “I’m not them and they aren’t me.” you unwrap your own cookie and take a bite, encouraging him to do the same.
“I know something that they don’t,” you swallow “People who have nowhere to go will always end up wherever they feel safest, even if they aren’t treated well and have to do bad things.” Fu glances at you, nibbling on his cookie like a little mouse “It’s a lot harder to wait for the ethical choice when you’re starving, dirty and on the street.” he looks down “I don’t doubt your strength kiddo.” part of his cookie crumbles from his grip tightening “You’re doing what you have to in order to survive.” tears pool quickly, already spilling down his cheeks before you finish speaking.
You set aside your food, opening your arms “Come here.” he lunges forward, almost knocking the wind out of you when he collides against your chest. You hold him, stroking his hair as he sobs into your shoulder, tears, snot and even spit seeping into your shirt. He bawls, clutching your arms in a death grip, terrified you’d pull away or shove him off.
“It’s okay kiddo, just let it out.” you rest your chin on top of his head. Your chest feels tight, his situation reflecting your own, having to jump from group to group, never really being safe but at least having a place to sleep and occasionally food, until you fell in with the Cleaners.
His sobbing slows until it’s just quiet hiccups and stuttering breath “Water?” you ask gently, making sure not to let go as you grab his discarded bottle. He takes a shaky sip, lip still quivering as he recovers from his emotional overflow “Good job bud.” you rub his back, coaxing him to drink a bit more to settle his nerves and rehydrate him.
