Pokopia makes it canon that Pokemon refer to their casual friends by their Pokemon species and that using their preferred name is an affectionate, intimate thing.

And I can’t really articulate just why that’s so darling and cute if a world building flourish.

Pokopia is the first game I’ve played in a long time that I actually feel the obsession again and want to make my entire personality lol

Something about Pokopia I love is that it straight up proves Team Plasma wrong. Because we have separation so complete there are no humans at all, and what do the Pokemon do? Try to find them. They try to bring their friends and loved ones back. They rebuilt infrastructure, they explore, they try whatever they can think of because they love each other. And the humans loved them back. Loved them enough to say goodbye, not knowing whether they would see each other again, because they knew where they are going not many Pokemon could live and be happy. The bond between human and Pokemon is strong and mutual and I will not hear otherwise

Every few months I come on tumblr and see my HCs about pokemon I wrote in 2021 are still being reblogged and it makes me sad bc I’ve literally never felt as strongly about games since then :(

Every so often I go through a stardew valley phase but other than that I’ve been in a big gaming slump and all I do when I come home is watch tiktoks lol my brain is gonna be mush soon

Any recommendations for a hyperfixation game that I will be able to get into while also working a full time mentally draining job would be good pls ahaha
