So... officially single

For the first time in almost 3 years… I don’t even know what to do with myself.

Whilst of course I am sad to say goodbye to the longest relationship I have ever held, I am content. We both learned so much from each other and grew up together that we have helped shape each other into who we are today. 

And while I knew this day was coming months before it actually did, I am glad it took this long to come to an end as I was just not ready to let him go even though we were both unhappy. He has been all I have known for near on 3 years and the thought of living my life without him terrifies me and excites me all at the same time. 

I just have to take some time to figure out who I am… Who I am now that I am no longer ‘Allan and Ashleigh’. It’s just Ashleigh now and somehow I need to remember how to be single again. it’s gonna be tough but I honestly can’t wait.

Thank you, Allan, for an amazing 3 years. I will always love you and I truly do hope you find happiness xx
