Staying right here with you ❦
no one talks about how hard it is to open up and let someone help you when you’re so used to going through everything alone
do you want to go to the beach with me to see the stars and listen to the waves?

In addition to writing to senators, governors, Biden, Harris, etc. to ask for their support in the fight for reproductive rights, write to clubs, associations, companies, etc. to ask them to speak out against the overturn of Roe v. Wade.
In 2020, many companies released statements in support of BIPOC, but I haven't seen many companies release statements about the SCOTUS leak. Remind these companies that the overturn of Roe v. Wade will hurt children, women, and transmen immediately and will likely have a farther reaching impact on the long run. These impacts could include interracial and LGBTQ marriage. Remind them that forced pregnancy is a crime against humanity and that women's rights, children's rights, and trans rights are human rights, too. Remind them that BIPOC and people with low incomes will be hurt the worst. Ask them to support their customers, employees, and (in the case of associations and clubs) members.
America is a capitalist nation. There's a reason why DeSantis reacted spitefully to Disney's opposition to the Don't Say Gay bill. Because losing the support of a big-name company, even if the company's disagreement isn't as strong as we'd like it to be, can cost politicians a lot. Write to any companies you shop at or clubs/associations you belong to and demand that they fight for reproductive rights.
