Goodbye, Tumblr

Wow. so here we are. Tumblr will be removing all adult content in the next couple of weeks. This blog I started as a way of exploring and re-emphasizing my sexuality will be deleted along with countless others. Forms of queer expression will no longer be seen on this platform and might take a while to resurface somewhere else. This is devastating and tragic. Not only to my own project, but to the greater queer and sex-positive community.

Where do we go from here? Where do we get to congregate and share our explicit lives? No answers now. I have ideas for myself and projects in the works. Enjoy the last few days and find me on Instagram should you want to see what I get into next. IG: @homostraps

A (brief) Manifesto

This is a blog about having sex. In the park, in the darkroom, by the lake, on your bed. I have sex with friends, with strangers and with anything in between. Hopefully there will be pics, sometimes just a description, but the idea here is to document my sexuality.

Oppression takes many forms, one of which is the way it makes us feel about our bodies and how we connect to our sexuality. We live in the future, and have given these Puritanical values to much power to govern how we connect with ourselves and with each other. This blog is an actioned step for myself to break down this oppression and declare that I really, really like to have sex.
