Al Capone actually cared about poor people, though. He came from a family of immigrants and took care of his own, donating to charities and even running a soup kitchen (x, there are better sources but I’m lazy). Some people even characterized him as a kind of modern Robin Hood.

Let me be clear: I’m not saying Al Capone was a good guy. I’m saying he might’ve been a better guy than Jeff Bezos.

Capone, even though he didn’t fire the bullet, once paid for the hospital bills of a woman that had been caught in the crossfire of a scuffle. And while he was there, after paying her medical bills and giving her over $100 of flowers to cheer her up, he paid off all the bills of the children in the hospital. Which he did regularly. He sent flowers to the families of his dead enemies. HE IS THE REASON MILK HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE! His son (or nephew or something) died from complications from bad milk. And he got to work and made the milk and dairy industry hold to a much tighter standard, with included sell by dates and expiration dates. Not because it was family that got sick (or died), but because he found out that a lot of kids were getting sick off of bad milk products.

Capone was always a gentleman, he paid his workers well, treated his women good, and protected his own. If one of his workers got hurt or died, he would pay the bills and expenses, and help out their families.

He wasn’t a good guy, but the dude had a moral standard that Jeff Bez-ass doesn’t even pretend to have.

Oh, and Capone also heavily supported local shops, went to baseball games with his kids, funded his workers’ children to go to school, and was the kind of guy that wouldn’t sucker punch ya unless it was absolutely necessary.

How many rich assholes do we know of that does that kind of stuff?

I just got myself the movie The Outsiders. I think I watched it only once when I was younger and the two deaths kind of traumatized me into staying away. However the thing that I did remember distinctively was how hot Rob Lowe was in that movie and I watched some clips on YouTube and ended up having Pony, Soda and Darry brotherly feels like crazy (it was something that I did remember as well)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but once Thanos gets the time stone and from the first moment he steps foot into Wakanda, he doesn’t actually physically fight anyone besides using the power of the stones to toss aside everyone coming at him does he?

I don’t think I’m wrong in pointing out that when Steve manages to hold him back, this human without armour, without power who’s not an enormous green rage monster or a master of the mystic arts, manages to hold back Thanos who is at that point the strongest being in the universe (the image from the trailer doesn’t show the rest of the stones Thanos has by that point) - with just his bare hands, that’s the first time in that fight that Thanos physically engages against an opponent.

Being in silence wasn’t a Penetrator thing, but for the last couple months, we’ve found ourselves in situations where silent was just easier. My mind was telling me I needed to get out of there, but I didn’t find the strength to move my feet. This just couldn’t be it. I didn’t spend days taking care of single one of them so they could throw me away the minute I didn’t walk the line.

The air was insanely heavy. Some pair of eyes were laying on me and Chris, and others to the owner of the voice who decided to expel the both of us. I had to put my cold hearted bitch mode on if I would stay there, and they weren’t a fan about this particular mode of mine.
