Low Point || Drizella & Luiz
@diaboluiz
Drizella hated going to the Outer Ring for this. But her normal supplier wasn't returning her calls and she could practically feel her vision fading. She couldn't describe it exactly, but she knew that if she didn't get her fix soon that she would lose her temper on someone. So she set up a meeting with her back-up guy and was waiting rather impatiently for him.
When the familiar figure finally walked up to her, she scowled. "Taking your sweet time?"
goodolenutmeg:
âMaybe you should fill me in on whatâs so funny,â Meg hissed. âBecause the only joke I see is you, walking around the Outer Ring as though you werenât a moving target.â As much as this woman annoyed her, Meg saw a reflection of who she used to be. She lived that life, as a First Ringer socialite from a wealthy family with the world handed to her. Itâs easy to take that all for granted.  âIâm paid just well enough to purchase my own meals. In fact, Iâd recommend you keep your wallet. It might be the only way to keep yourself alive out here.â
âI think itâs awfully funny and almost cute how you underestimate me,â Drizella said, amusement still clear on her face. âDonât ever take my status or even my outer appearence for granted. Just because I look amazing and have more money than your entire worth, doesnât mean I canât defend myself against a common thug.â
where'd you purchase that attitude, princess? -meg
âI didnât. Itâs free. Something you wouldnât know a thing about.â
What or who would you lay down your life for?
âNo one. Not my mother, not Anastasia, not a single person alive is worth it. Everyone I would have died for is dead.â
Money or Love?
âRevenge.â
So how do you plan to get even with your closest relative?
âI donât know what youâre talking about.â
fmk- ziggy, meg, bill
Drizella rolled her eyes. âWe are really doing this? Fine. None of them are worth marrying, I guess Iâd fuck Ziggy because heâs got some rage in him and thatâs a decent enough distraction. Bill and Meg can die.â
ooc: she highkey wants to sleep with meg bye
what annoys you the most?
âEvery breath my mother takes.â
â§this character is accepting questions
mad-marcus-harris:
âWell, good,â He replied, knowing that she was being sarcastic with him. To be honest, though, he was still weirded out that she said something at all to him. This was exactly what he got for going to a science fundraiser⊠He should have stayed home. âHeâs probably a better conversation partner.â
âClearly." She took a sip of her drink. She didnât think scientist really turned up at these kind of fundraisers, but Drizella would be damned if she had to sit through one of these sober. âI mean, youâre hardly trying.â
little-illuminaughty:
âHash isnât exactly a lazy word, aside from maybe itâs syllable count.â He offered, slyly. âHave fun, then. Iâm not a fan of the stuff. Hrm⊠However I like the game youâre playing.â Bill took a lazy look about the people gathered, and quietly thought of each one, âhrm⊠Gladstone, for one. Man has luck unlike anyone else, but heâs also a habitual gambler. Eventually it has to run out. And my other guess would be Celeste, from the Arabia company estates. Girl has no sense and perhaps is a bit too into fashion for her own good. Spends more on shoes than she does in lasting investments. Your picks?â

âI would never let myself be simple enough to have a single word describe me,â she countered. âI suppose in a way thatâs your loss. But at the same time keeping your mind sharp is your gain while everyone around you falls to pieces.â She smirked. He had good guesses, Drizella could admit that to herself. âYou think Celeste is fashionable? Now thatâs a cruel statement. She looks like rubbish, which means she will for certain lose her fortune to the first guy who says sheâs beautiful.â She scanned the crowd again. âMy biggest bet is on the Liddell family. They arenât even the richest people here, but they are the ones who want everyone elseâs approval the most. They would eat food from the floor if it pleased the Dukes.â
cruelcouturecass:
âYou would look good in anything I give you, not just because of you but because of me.â Cassandra tried not to smirk as Drizella talked about her mother. The Lady Tremaine was a cutthroat pain-in-the-ass of a woman, which Cassandra could admire, but that didnât make her any less petty to deal with. âIf youâve got any preferences let them be known now, and I will see what I can do. Otheriwse, I will just do what I do best and you will look stunning. Guaranteed.â She raised her gaze to meet Drizellaâs eyes. âSo what would you like, Drizella?â
Drizella visibly relaxed a little bit. Truth be told, Cassandra wasnât a completely vile person and she wasnât the type to constantly kiss her motherâs ass, so she was satisfied with her response. âI want purple. This green makes me look sickly.â
goodolenutmeg:
Megâs smile dropped, an unamused glare replacing it.  âI donât need your pity money, and youâre certainly pretentious enough to think I asked because I wished to offer you any assistance.â She crossed her arms and tossed the wallet to the floor at the ladyâs feet.
Drizella laughed lightly. âOoh, did I hurt your feelings? An escort with feelings. Thatâs rich.â She knew she was being harsh, her words felt laced with the venom she carried on her. âSeriously, you should take the money. Maybe get yourself real food.â
little-illuminaughty:
Billâs eyebrow raised high, âYouâd throw me to the bore by asking your tricks to avoiding business and gossip? harsh.â he quipped back, though as she went on his bright blue eyes could only help but turn to the crowded room. âAh, so is that your trick?â his eyes scanned those in attendance. âDo heirs count? Or only those who currently have the fortunes?â
âHarsh is a lazy way to describe me,â she said with a sigh. âAlcohol always eases the mind. Especially when people fail to do so.â Her blurry vision could only point out so much within the crowd, but she went to enough of these functions to get by. âHeirs count. Anyone could lose a fortune if they wind up dead.â
little-illuminaughty:
âOh?â Bill said, an eyebrow arching high as he leaned against a nearby wall close to the woman. It was a party, but of course parties such as these with the first ringers was never anything other than business. âGood, because I have zero interest in gossip. In fact, more interested in what youâre managing to work on at this party⊠seems every time I attempt to get something done some new person comes up and starts shooting the shit and asking what Iâm working on.â He said, cheekily.
She really did hate these parties. Business was boring to her and of course this guy was interested in nothing but business. Drizella had business of her own, naturally. But she wasnât here for that. She was here for her mother. âIf you want to talk about that, then I can show you the way to the grandest bore at this party. Honestly, I would rather get drunk and debate on which one of these clowns will lose their fortunes first due to someoneâs get-rich schemes. It seems that there is never enough money for anyone in this room.â
cruelcouturecass:
âWell, if you want to look like a plastic bag, you can tell your mother to send you to another woman, but if you want to have a fitted dress then shut your mouth and take your measurements.â Cassandra sat at a stool drawing in her design book while the tailor fitted Drizella in a room at the bottom level of her building. âTrust me I have better things than to think of a shade of green that masks your personality.â
Drizella rolled her eyes. âI donât even like green. Purple has always looked better on me.â She looked at her. âAnd isnât it your job to make sure I look good? Screw my mother, you know I donât care what she wants me to look like.â
