hi! i’m eris 🌙✨, genderfluid (w/e pronouns work :)), i’m 25, it’s nice to meet you- the following is a brief about/rules/things you should know that’s going to be pinned until i manage to write a full google doc of rules and about pages, etc.
please note- i don’t plan on having a full theme. this blog will always be ‘dash only’, i just have my ‘full blog view’ open so people can easily send asks (post update) and because i personally feel like it’s easier to navigate tags and etc. via full blog view on desktop. i also won’t always be using icons/heavy formatting just bc… while i love graphics- i’d rather focus on my content/writing.

multi-verse, multi-ship- lots of crossover content please!
all of my animated muses listed below all have a live fc/main verse tailored for crossover content.
this blog will feature nsfw content- there will be a variety of triggers on this blog, especially as a good handful of my characters come from horror genre media (the worst of which content wise is probably doctor sleep, prometheus and ahs). everything will always be properly tagged like so; ex. ‘gore tw’. sexual n/sfw mentions will always be tagged as ‘nsfw cont tw’.
this all ^^^ being said, if there’s a certain fandom i write that doesn’t jive with your dashboard creatively, i have no problem tagging things related to that fandom with ‘your alias don’t look’. (also, i tag all fanart with ‘fanart tw’.)
no drama pls- if something about my content bothers you, either please come to me personally or soft-block. if you talk about me behind my back and i find out, you’ll also be blocked. i just really don’t have time for people committed to misunderstanding me.

leviathan are, for the most part, asexual creatures. their true forms weren’t made to that end. they weren’t built to reproduce and as thus simply lack the urges.
whether they’re sex positive or not in other forms is entirely up to each of course, but! hunger urges will always be a persisting problem; unless a leviathan has very good control over their hunger urges (most don’t) they just end up devouring the intended partner. leviathans do ‘bond’ however. meaning, they often pair up and through that crave... affection and closeness, which is also much more comfortable with someone you’re not craving to eat.
dick roman specifically, because of him being the apex predator of the leviathan species, has enough self-control to have been able to explore a bit of human indulgence without drawing attention to himself, but it’s not something he craves.
not every leviathan is as good at replication and imitation. the imitation part is the same as any demon or angel; instincts don’t teach you how to be a good showman. the replication part however is more about... when they’re copying the cells of the intended victim (again only works for when they’re shapeshifting, not while inhabiting another) not every leviathan gets the optic nerves just right because their original form doesn’t have optic nerves.
dick roman sees in perfect color... which opens a whole secondary conjecture on how he’s the apex predator example of a leviathan.
leviathan do have positive traits; i’d say intelligence, tenacity and loyalty are three very key species traits.
i personally think leviathan species was largely a predator pet project by god. i mean, think about it… they didn’t just magically end up these ravenous beasts, that’s what they were created to be.
as a species, they grappled with the idea of trust a lot less than angels and demons. they have a much higher pack loyalty.
^^^ this is all a lot more just… leviathan meta about their making and traits and what’s been observed in canon than just one character-specific random hc but, ugh- i love them???
leviathan can purr- rather, the sound they make when content (sated is probably a much better word) is what humans would think of as a purr. really, it’s just a vibration to communicate contentment. a lot of species that can’t typically make humanoid noises use vibrations to communicate, so i just figured because leviathans are so… formless, that they probably also have some secondary form of communication with their own kind.

anyway i’d love to plot w abel but probably not just yet w famine bc if i’m being quite honest all he does is complain about there not being another recession/depression resulting in widespread famine due to lack of capitol so
philippe is probably the only historical figure i would ever play bc he was actually.... there’s just so much unique about him for his time. he was openly gay and effeminate despite being the french crown prince and he was celebrated military commander. philippe was commonly referred to by female gender terms by both his mother and later by contemporaries; and had a much better streak of actually listening to the people than his brother did.
philippe fought in wars several times for their country, commonly risking his life to lead to their people and yet in history classes i never even heard about him and had to later learn through historical drama.
