Sunday musings: Some struggle with feeling as though they are not enough. Feeling like no one likes or loves you. I did. Rest assured that you are loved and liked. No likes or loves everyone and no one is liked or loved by EVERYONE. Settle that. You’re not sent for EVERYONE..you’re sent for SOME. Focus your energy on the some and settle it that the ones to whom you are a gift will receive you. Additionally because we chase this illusion of universal likeability, we compromise who we are and sometimes lose track of that one..that one that we are. I’m sooo excited! I have two sets of commissions to start and finish for wonderful families! 2022 is around the corner! Christmas is coming! And I’m painting!! Some days I pick up my stethoscope but most days I pick up my paintbrush 🖌. Jumping into the art space was a well calculated and best risk ever. As I ventured to see the Van Gogh immersion exhibit for a second time, (first in Paris and then in DC), I am reminded the price artists pay to do their art..for some it may too high a price but for others..it’s well worth it.
