This is a rp blog for my gotham rogue oc: Acid aka Dr Nigel Evergreen. (His villain alias is Acid, but I refer to him as Nigel 90% of the time)

He’s a former scientist at Ace Chemicals, now leading a life of crime after he was blamed for an explosion that cost him his eye and daughter.

They looked around at the large building and their eye fell on the snacks area.

“I have some spare cash on me cause I have one less…expense… now.” they hummed.

A few families casted sidelong glances towards the two of them but luckily no one seemed to be outwardly hostile. This was also one of the few moments where Rhapsody was not actually carrying any weapons on them.

[Nigel huffed as they headed to the counter to get snacks]

“10 dollars for a bucket of popcorn?! What has the world come to..”

Rhapsody followed behind Nigel but their gaze wandered around the area. They rarely went to cinemas so this was all pretty foreign to them.

Rhapsody looked around at the snack bar again, contemplating on what to get. Her eye then fell on the slushie machine and her expression lifted.

“I’ll probably get a slushie”

Rhapsody ordered their slushie and paid with some cash that they had on them. They sipped it and let out a satisfied sigh.

“To be honest, I have no idea what this movie is going to be about….” they admitted.

They looked around at the large building and their eye fell on the snacks area.

“I have some spare cash on me cause I have one less…expense… now.” they hummed.

A few families casted sidelong glances towards the two of them but luckily no one seemed to be outwardly hostile. This was also one of the few moments where Rhapsody was not actually carrying any weapons on them.

Rhapsody followed behind Nigel but their gaze wandered around the area. They rarely went to cinemas so this was all pretty foreign to them.

[Nigel was sat in the yard, idly rolling a pebble across the floor when he heard footsteps coming his direction. He looked up and saw Onyx, a small smile coming to his face]

“Onyx! How are ya doin kid? Feeling any better?”

She walked over to him, giggling under her breath. She had finally gotten her straight jacket off, instead wearing gloves to prevent her from hurting herself or others. She immediately gave him a hug.

"I missed you...."

[Nigel wrapped his arms around her]

“I missed you too.. good to see you’re out of the straitjacket.”

[He pulled back and ruffled her hair]

"I didn't like it...but I have gloves so I can't hurt them anymore...I don't like them either makes it harder to draw blood."

She sat down next to him, curling up against him.

“I think that’s the point of them..”

[He wrapped an arm around her, letting her curl up against of him]

“As long as the gloves aren’t hurting you”

"...they're hurting me...I need blood...they don't let me get that blood. I haven't seen blood in days."

She starts gently scratching at his arms, the gloves stopping her from creating any real damage to his skin.

“You need it huh? Do you think you’d feel better if you see a bit of blood?”

She nods, clawing harder at his arms.

"mhm...need it....need it....want to see bodies of blood laying there again... every time I close my eyes I see it again and it's wonderful."

[He nodded a bit, before glancing around to see if any guards were watching them. They weren’t.]

“I see.. Here give me your hands”

She gives him her hand

"don't tell the guards ...I don't wanna be on more meds... finally left the white room don't wanna be sent back"

“I won’t tell the guard”

[He carefully took her glove off before holding his arm out again, the one with less scars on it]

“Be careful yeah?”

She smiles at his arm.

"mhm..."

She starts scratching at it. Her eyes widen as she sees blood under her nails and blood on his arm. She starts scratching harder.

[He bit the inside of his cheek slightly, it hurt but not enough to make her stop yet. If it helped her that was good]

“You have really sharp nails huh?”

She held his arm as still as she could before raking her nails down the entire length of his arm

"sharpened them before they put the gloves on me...easier to draw blood from myself if they were sharp..."

“Ah you did? Well I suppose it makes this easier hm?”

[He glanced away as she raked down his whole arm, drawing quite a bit of blood. Hiding that from the guards was going to be a bit of a pain. He tried not to dwell on it, just gripping the fabric of his pants in his other hand]

She smiled at all of the blood dripping down his arm. She held her hand on the cuts, watching the blood seep through her fingers. She then took her hand off and liked the blood off her fingers.

"so much easier..."

She puts her bloodied hand to his neck, holding him there.

"I could cut to your heart....lots of blood there..."

“I’m sure you could… not a very good idea though is it? You wouldn’t get to see me anymore if you killed me”

[Nigel tilted his head, not really fazed by her holding his neck]

“Is the arm not good enough? Quite a bit of blood you’ve drawn there.”

"you could just heal like Rhapsody...he let me cut into his neck...so much pretty pretty blood..."

She uses her free hand to dig her nails into his other arm

"not enough....want more blood ...need more blood..."

“Ah you see the problem is there is that I don’t have rapid healing like Rhapsody. I’m a normal human, don’t really got any special powers. If you cut into my neck, I would probably die.”

[He winced as she dug into his other arm, the scars there a hell of a lot more sensitive]

"I..I don't want you to die..."

She looked down at his bleeding arms, pulling away

"d-did...did I..no...nonono..."

“I’m not going to die.”

[He pulled his sleeves back down, hiding his bleeding arms]

“It’s okay. Do you feel better now?”

"n...need more...I...I could kill them all...."

She buried her head against him. Her whole body was shaking and she was clawing at herself

[Nigel rubbed her back gently, trying to stop her clawing at herself]

“Hey it’s okay.. breathe…”

She digs her nails into her arms, digging out a small chunk. She watches the blood start to flow.

"mm...so pretty ...."

“Is that enough now..? Can I put the glove back on?”

"no...no gloves...don't want the gloves..."

She pulled away from him to keep clawing at her skin. She had hundreds of old cuts on her arms that were all slowly healing.

“Onyx you can’t keep hurting yourself, it’s not good”

[He carefully reached out and took ahold of her hands]

"let go...let go let go! need more blood need it need it!!"

She tried to pull away. Blood was dripping into the floor and onto him.

[Nigel tightened his grip, his sleeves gradually turning red]

“No. Onyx if you keep this up the guards will come over”

"I'll kill them if they come over I'll kill them all I just need more blood!!"

She started to flail, panic rising through her as she knew she wasn't able to get more blood

“I’m starting to think you’re a vampire” [He muttered under his breath]

[He kept his grip on her wrists tight, trying to stop her flailing as much possible]

“You can’t kill them you’re just a kid and there’s a hell of a lot more of them than there is you”

"I can kill them all I've killed more before I'll kill them and we can leave and then we can go out and kill anyone we want"

She leaned against his arm, biting it as hard as she could.

“Ow- okay okay kid listen they’ve got tasers they will just knock you out.”

[He tried to pull his arm away, she’d managed to go through the fabric and bite into his skin]

“I’m not edible you know right”

There was an odd calmness that flowed over her as blood dripped down her mouth. She smiled and closed her eyes as she kept drinking as much blood as she could

[Nigel stared]

“Are you sure you’re not a vampire also ow.”

[He didn’t really know what to do, glancing around the yard and realising the guards weren’t watching or caring. He didn’t want to get her thrown back in a straitjacket but he was starting to feel the blood loss now, feeling a bit queasy]

She just nods, biting down harder. After a few more seconds of drinking his blood she looked at him, a drunken smile on her face.

"yummy..."

[Nigel looked away as she looked up at him with blood dripping down her chin. He covered his mouth with his hand as a wave of nausea hit him]

“I’m sure it is kid.. you uh.. you done..?”

She nuzzled close to him, closing her eyes.

"for now."

“Cool.. cool..”

[He let her nuzzle into him, holding his arm to the staunch the blood flow a bit. He leant his head back against the wall, gritting his teeth]

"...how long till you heal up and I can get more blood from you?"

“Probably a couple days? Healing takes a while and you did quite the number on my arm”

She pulls his hand away from his arm, watching the blood with such fascination

"either you heal faster or you get me Rhapsody"

“I.. don’t know where Rhapsody is. Guards decided to be pissy and put me on a different yard time to them and Harvey. I can’t really get you Rhapsody”

[He was still holding his arm]

“And I can’t just force my body to heal faster that’s not how biology works”

“I don’t think killing guards is going to work.. and if you get out are you just going to go hurt more people?”

“I mean yeah they probably will but there’s consequences to killing randomly just for the sake of it.”

[He was still holding her wrist, keeping her hand away from his neck]

She started to push against him harder

"there's no consequences...just need more blood...I wanna paint a warehouse with blood..."

“There are consequences, they’ll put you back in the white room. That’s a lot of blood Onyx, and also would.. not be pleasant?”

"I won't get caught next time...not enough blood...need so much more blood...lemme see more of your pretty blood..."

[He leant back away from her slightly, back hitting the wall]

She slowly leaned against him again

"...gloves.... please....don't wanna hurt anyone..."

[Nigel put the gloves back on her]

“There you go…”

[He watched her reaction, hoping she would settle down a bit now, though he wasn’t certain. He was mildly worried she’d try and bite him again]

She stared at the gloves for a second before biting them, trying to get them off. She hated how she didn't even have control over her own thoughts and actions.

[Nigel watched with a sigh]

“Can you give me your hands?”

She gives him her hands

[He simply held them, stopping her from biting them anymore]

“There.”

"I..want blood..."

“I know.”

“I… I suppose we can try.”

"right now.... we'll grab Rhapsody and Harvey..."

[Nigel glanced around the yard again, trying to figure out the best plan to cause a riot, without getting them both thrown in solitary]

“Yeah.. we’d have to get to the wardens office to unlock the cell doors”

"ok...tell me what to do and I'll do it"

“….Kid I haven’t got a clue what to do go feral frankly probably the best way out”

"...take off my gloves and I can do that."

“Alright then.”

[He took her gloves off, setting them down beside him and sitting back]

“Good luck”

She smiled at her hands before walking up to one of the guards and tackling him. She hit him twice and he was dead. Other guards started to approach Onyx. She jumped at another one, killing him too. Prisoners started to join in, attacking the guards.

[Nigel raised an eyebrow, surprised she was that lethal, before getting up and limping the best he could to the wardens office, slipping in when he ran out]

She kept fighting, the other prisoners making it easier for her. One guard got a good punch to her face, knocking her down. Luckily a nearby prisoner lifted her up and held her on his shoulders, keeping her out of the fight while her nose healed.

[Nigel quickly flicked the computer, shaking his head at the wardens stupidity to leave it on and open. He had done this before, so knew how to open the cell doors. You’d think by now they would have removed the ‘release all inmates’ button but here we are. He pressed it and slipped out the room again, keeping away from the worst of the brawl]

“Onyx! Come here!”

Once she felt her nose was healed enough, she jumped off the man and attacked another guard. By now, many of the guards were on the floor dead. When she heard her name called she looked up at Nigel. She killed the guard she was attacking before running over to him, covered head to toe in blood. She hugged him tightly, laughing to herself.

"I did it!!! I got my blood!!!"

“That’s great kid, now doors are open leeeets go”

She didn't move, looking back at all of the blood behind her. "I...I could get more blood out of them...."

“…Would you rather have more blood now, or get out of the asylum and have Rhapsody help you kill in a way that’s good and get all the blood you need?”

"Rhapsody wants me to do clean kills...I want the blood...I could get so much blood here..." She starts slowly backing towards the violence

[He reached out to try stop her]

“Ow no no not the face already missing one eye don’t need to lose the other stop it”

[He grabbed her wrists and pulled them down before letting go]

“Fine. Go get the blood. I’m gonna go find Harvey and Rhapsody”

She pulled away from him before running back to the violence, attacking more guards.

[Nigel watched her go with a sigh before quickly heading towards the cell block, arming himself with a fallen guards gun]

“Good luck kid.”

She was shaving the time of her life being able to attack all of the guards who were running at her. Killing them came easy, almost second nature to her. It didn't take long for the last few guards that were alive to run for their lives.

[Nigel dragged his way down the corridor, ducking into a closet when he heard guards coming. He slid down the wall, blood loss from his arms making him dizzy]

[He watched her reaction, hoping she would settle down a bit now, though he wasn’t certain. He was mildly worried she’d try and bite him again]

She stared at the gloves for a second before biting them, trying to get them off. She hated how she didn't even have control over her own thoughts and actions.

[Nigel glanced around the yard again, trying to figure out the best plan to cause a riot, without getting them both thrown in solitary]

“Yeah.. we’d have to get to the wardens office to unlock the cell doors”

"ok...tell me what to do and I'll do it"

“….Kid I haven’t got a clue what to do go feral frankly probably the best way out”

"...take off my gloves and I can do that."

[He took her gloves off, setting them down beside him and sitting back]

She smiled at her hands before walking up to one of the guards and tackling him. She hit him twice and he was dead. Other guards started to approach Onyx. She jumped at another one, killing him too. Prisoners started to join in, attacking the guards.

[Nigel raised an eyebrow, surprised she was that lethal, before getting up and limping the best he could to the wardens office, slipping in when he ran out]

She kept fighting, the other prisoners making it easier for her. One guard got a good punch to her face, knocking her down. Luckily a nearby prisoner lifted her up and held her on his shoulders, keeping her out of the fight while her nose healed.

[Nigel quickly flicked the computer, shaking his head at the wardens stupidity to leave it on and open. He had done this before, so knew how to open the cell doors. You’d think by now they would have removed the ‘release all inmates’ button but here we are. He pressed it and slipped out the room again, keeping away from the worst of the brawl]

“Onyx! Come here!”

Once she felt her nose was healed enough, she jumped off the man and attacked another guard. By now, many of the guards were on the floor dead. When she heard her name called she looked up at Nigel. She killed the guard she was attacking before running over to him, covered head to toe in blood. She hugged him tightly, laughing to herself.

"I did it!!! I got my blood!!!"

She didn't move, looking back at all of the blood behind her. "I...I could get more blood out of them...."

“You have really sharp nails huh?”

She held his arm as still as she could before raking her nails down the entire length of his arm

"sharpened them before they put the gloves on me...easier to draw blood from myself if they were sharp..."

She nuzzled close to him, closing her eyes.

“Cool.. cool..”

[He let her nuzzle into him, holding his arm to the staunch the blood flow a bit. He leant his head back against the wall, gritting his teeth]

"...how long till you heal up and I can get more blood from you?"

“Probably a couple days? Healing takes a while and you did quite the number on my arm”

"no...heal now...."

“..I can’t really do that-“

"mhm..."

She pulls his hand away from his arm, watching the blood with such fascination

"either you heal faster or you get me Rhapsody"

“I.. don’t know where Rhapsody is. Guards decided to be pissy and put me on a different yard time to them and Harvey. I can’t really get you Rhapsody”

[He was still holding his arm]

“And I can’t just force my body to heal faster that’s not how biology works”

She started clawing at his neck

"just need more blood....maybe I'll kill a few guards and escape..."

“Kid don’t.”

[He grabbed her wrist]

“I don’t think killing guards is going to work.. and if you get out are you just going to go hurt more people?”

"I'll kill anyone I want...I'll break you and Rhapsody and Harvey out and Rhapsody will help me kill and help me cover it up"

[Nigel sighed]

“I mean yeah they probably will but there’s consequences to killing randomly just for the sake of it.”

[He was still holding her wrist, keeping her hand away from his neck]

She started to push against him harder

"there's no consequences...just need more blood...I wanna paint a warehouse with blood..."

“There are consequences, they’ll put you back in the white room. That’s a lot of blood Onyx, and also would.. not be pleasant?”

"I won't get caught next time...not enough blood...need so much more blood...lemme see more of your pretty blood..."

“You know I kinda need it right-?”

[He leant back away from her slightly, back hitting the wall]

"I need it more..."

She slowly leaned against him again

"...gloves.... please....don't wanna hurt anyone..."

[Nigel put the gloves back on her]

“There you go…”

[He watched her reaction, hoping she would settle down a bit now, though he wasn’t certain. He was mildly worried she’d try and bite him again]

She stared at the gloves for a second before biting them, trying to get them off. She hated how she didn't even have control over her own thoughts and actions.

[Nigel watched with a sigh]

“Can you give me your hands?”

She gives him her hands

[He simply held them, stopping her from biting them anymore]

“There.”

"I..want blood..."

“I know.”

[straight-from-the-facility]

"I don't like it...don't like how much blood I want..."

“Mhm.. I know you don’t… It’s okay”

"I wanna leave....dad I wanna leave..."

“I wanna leave too… I don’t know if we can yet”

"can we break out? please? please I wanna leave"

“I… I suppose we can try.”

"right now.... we'll grab Rhapsody and Harvey..."

[Nigel glanced around the yard again, trying to figure out the best plan to cause a riot, without getting them both thrown in solitary]

“Yeah.. we’d have to get to the wardens office to unlock the cell doors”

"ok...tell me what to do and I'll do it"

“….Kid I haven’t got a clue what to do go feral frankly probably the best way out”

[straight-from-the-facility]

"...take off my gloves and I can do that."

“Alright then.”

[He took her gloves off, setting them down beside him and sitting back]

“Good luck”

She smiled at her hands before walking up to one of the guards and tackling him. She hit him twice and he was dead. Other guards started to approach Onyx. She jumped at another one, killing him too. Prisoners started to join in, attacking the guards.

[Nigel raised an eyebrow, surprised she was that lethal, before getting up and limping the best he could to the wardens office, slipping in when he ran out]

She kept fighting, the other prisoners making it easier for her. One guard got a good punch to her face, knocking her down. Luckily a nearby prisoner lifted her up and held her on his shoulders, keeping her out of the fight while her nose healed.

[Nigel quickly flicked the computer, shaking his head at the wardens stupidity to leave it on and open. He had done this before, so knew how to open the cell doors. You’d think by now they would have removed the ‘release all inmates’ button but here we are. He pressed it and slipped out the room again, keeping away from the worst of the brawl]

“Onyx! Come here!”

Once she felt her nose was healed enough, she jumped off the man and attacked another guard. By now, many of the guards were on the floor dead. When she heard her name called she looked up at Nigel. She killed the guard she was attacking before running over to him, covered head to toe in blood. She hugged him tightly, laughing to herself.

"I did it!!! I got my blood!!!"

“That’s great kid, now doors are open leeeets go”

She didn't move, looking back at all of the blood behind her. "I...I could get more blood out of them...."

“…Would you rather have more blood now, or get out of the asylum and have Rhapsody help you kill in a way that’s good and get all the blood you need?”

"Rhapsody wants me to do clean kills...I want the blood...I could get so much blood here..." She starts slowly backing towards the violence
