What on earth could Nostalgia's choice of ring design be like? And no, not what the manga will likely do like a simple golden band design cause that's easy to redraw.

What would Ritsu and Masamune ACTUALLY choose for themselves/each other?

Simple golden ring bands cause that's their personalities.

Unique, meaningful, and symbolic on Masamune's end because he is a sap who is the head of a Shoujo magazine (cherry blossom design or sm idk). While Ritsu aims for the simple route.

Or, Ritsu also joins in on the heartfeltness of it all and he too chooses a design of great sentimental value?

(like…a ring with a book design in the middle that can open up as a locket of sm, again, idk).

Ngl, I haven't given much thought to their wedding rings bc them becoming official at all seemed impossible to me for so long fhdbsbsbsns

As of right now, I do for sure think Takano would go for something meaningful like what you proposed, and Onodera would have a crisis bc on the one hand I feel like he still cringes at the thought of being too affectionate but also I feel like he'd be afraid that his choice of ring wouldn't be as good as what Takano chooses or that Takano wouldn't like it at all

I do love the idea of them getting sakura and book-themed rings, it sounds super cool!

I think we actually have a very direct answer for this one! Considering we've seen the kind of ring that Ritsu would pick out for Takano and the teasing that ensues afterwards, I would imagine it would look something like the ring pictured in this catalog. Takano even makes a comment afterwards that they should make it a pairing, so a more simple design would apply to them both.

It may be simple, but it seems like there's room for engraving if you want some kind of sentimental message on it.

And it seems Takano predicted that readers might not be satisfied with a more simple design for their rings, but it's out of our hands. 😂

Also, they actually had a collaboration in 2020 where a few different Emerald series got rings and necklaces made based on them. There was one for SiH.

I've always seen wearing rings on chains (like pictured above) as an option for them to tuck under their shirts to be more subtle at work, because who knows what chaos would ensure if they both walked in with rings one day LOL.
