So a lot of political scandals just dropped in the last 24 hours

-NC Governor Candidate Mark Robinson's online posts were found, including some VERY graphic descriptions (like seriously, do not read if you're not 18) of him cheating on his wife, calling himself a black Nazi, and expressing support for reinstituting slavery. His email address was also found on Ashley Madison

-Robert F Kennedy Jr was revealed to be cheating on his wife with a reporter (and that isn't even the weirdest thing since federal law enforcement opened an investigation into him allegedly cutting off the head of a whale and taking it home with him less than 24 hours ago)

-GOP Senate candidate who is the CEO of a bank has been found accepting millions of dollars from what seem to allegedly be Mexican drug cartels.

-Finally, probably the biggest bombshell, according to multiple eyewitness testimonies within sealed sworn affadavits, Congressman Matt Gaetz allegedly invited a 17-year-old girl to a drug-fueld sex party

And we haven't even hit October, folks. Again, these are all still breaking news stories, so things are subject to change, but oh man oh man.

One of the prominent reporters for a widely regarded magazine who wrote one of the longest, most detailed articles claiming Joe Biden was unfit to be president, an article that got cited by many other journalists as evidence they weren't just gossiping and going off rumors, WAS INVOLVED WITH THE GUY RUNNING AGAINST BIDEN AT THE TIME. Short of being paid to write something, this is the biggest possible ethical lapse for a journalist imaginable.

hi uh i keep seeing this being debated on tiktok and as your resident adult with a history of infertility who knows just.. way too much about pregnancy and hcg tests: if you are capable of getting pregnant, you really REALLY need to understand how drugstore pregnancy tests work. if there is a line, no matter how faint, that test is POSITIVE. I’ve seen people test positive and get a negative or start their period a few days later and be like “it must have been a false positive”. actual false positives are extremely rare. what most likely happened is something called a ‘chemical pregnancy’ which is when an egg is fertilized but does not implant in the uterus so the pregnancy does not continue. that positive test was not faulty or false, it was just an early test.

if you think you might be pregnant, get your hands on a test. you don’t need the fancy digital ones. the ones you can buy at places like the dollar tree work just as well. buy a few and take one every day until your period comes on if you need to. if there is a FAINT line you aren’t sure about (sometimes tests have something called an indent that makes a shadow that can be mistaken as a very very faint line), test again the next day. as a general rule, morning is the best time to test for most people.

in a post-roe america, is it vitally necessary that you know and understand that because if you intend to terminate, your window is incredibly small in most states and by the time you’ve missed a period or begun to suspect you might be pregnant, there’s a decent chance you are past the cutoff. please please please educate yourselves on this because it could mean the difference between you having access to the healthcare that you need.

why are you so obsessed with a country's laws regarding lgbt people when you will never visit it and only ever invoke its name as a way to a) uplift your own (homophobic & transphobic but western imperialist) country, or b) make it seem more backwards/"barbaric" vis-a-vis your own (again, also homophobic & transphobic) country.

not to mention the millions of tasteless "i'd be illegal there" quips, because the only way to care is to relate it back to yourself instead of extending support and empathy to fellow lgbt people who actually live there. and then the cherry on top being the withholding or withdrawal of support purely because of this perceived homo-/transphobia that is more hearsay and fearmongering than rooted in truth.

lest we forget, western imperialist powers are the main reason so many of these "backwards" countries have lgbtphobic laws in the first place.

i find this unacceptable, especially considering that hybe must be aware of army divestment and boycott campaigns by now and the movie is not being screened in russia.

Hello, I am contacting your company to let it be known that I, along with other fans of Suga of BTS will not be viewing SUGA | Agust D TOUR 'D-DAY' THE MOVIE because you are screening this movie in Israel.

For months now, and for decades before, the Israeli occupation has been committing extremely devastating and violent attacks on Palestine. The victims of Israels current attack on Gaza number in the tens of thousands, approximately half of which are children. Multiple experts, humanitarian organizations and countries have concluded that these actions carried out by Israel is tantamount to genocide.

Choosing to authorize the screening of this movie, or any other movie, in the genocidal settler state of Israel is reprehensible and a direct show of support for Israel and zionism. We, as fans and consumers, cannot in good conscience financially support this while innocent people are being continuously killed, starved, bombed anddehumanized. If you are not screening movies in Russia due to their attacks on Ukraine, then it is extremely hypocritcial of your company to authorize screenings in Israel.

Your company can relay this feedback to the HYBE corporation, letting them know that we as fans of BTS will not support any acts that condone zionism and the actions of Israel. BTS fans are well known for our strong buying power and influence, and while we want to support our artists, HYBE will lose our patronage for as long as they continue to be complicit in the occupation and genocide of Palestine.

We strongly urge you to reconsider where you authorize movies to be screened, currently and in all your company decisions in the future. Supporting a state that is committing genocide should not be tolerated in any industry. Please take our concerns seriously.
