I guess, I ship them. ┐(´∇`)┌
roleplayers who ignore people’s female muses are weak and won’t survive the winter
So, as it turns out, my dashboard feed is fucking dead, Jim. If you’re an active Overwatch blog, or are simply crossover friendly, would you mind giving this post a reblog so I can find some new people to interact with? Thanks.
Today (November 11th) is Mestre Bimba’s 119th birthday - he’s the father of the Regional Capoeira style, one of the most important styles of contemporary capoeira. He’s also known for helping decriminalizing the martial art back in the 30’s. Nothing more fit than drawing Lúcio to celebrate!
As we all know, Lúcio not only knows capoeira, but his ropes point he’s a teacher ♥ So I imagine he knows quite the complicated movements. The ones depicted here are:
1- Ginga (it’s the base move)
2- Arco-íris (rainbow)
3- AU tesourado
You can find videos with them pretty easily if you want to know how they look in motion.
Also, if you want to know more about Mestre Bimba you can find his Wiki article, it’s very interesting and tells a little about capoeira history!

“You…” he breathed heavily, squinting up at the young man from his slouched position over the table.
“You look familiar.”
Lúcio had rushed into the first public place he found —which now he realized was a bar— to escape from some paparazzi. He had not been expecting to find one of the world's most feared bounty hunters visibly drunk, much less for the man to find him 'familiar'.
Then Lúcio saw one of his posters on a wall and motioned to it, bringing a finger to his lips and letting out a soft "shh" as he took a seat in front of the man, sure no one would be brave enough to approach, not even for an exclusive interview or picture.
Indie Junkrat roleplayer looking for people who write multi-para posts in the Overwatch RPC. If you’d be interested in this style of roleplay, please like or reblog this post so I can check you out. I need long threads in my life.

‘God, I can’t believe it. He’s adorable.’ he thought to himself as he looked away from the new promotional poster for Lúcio’s new tour.
He wasn’t one to enjoy being smitten like that… If anything, it have him minor anxiety and a major case of annoyance.
He couldn’t help it, though. The younger man had him crushing like a schoolboy. Pathetic.
drop-the-healing-beat:
Lúcio couldn’t help but smile at her enthusiasm. He was sure there was a game or two in which he could defeat her. If Korean arcades were anything like the ones in Rio that is.
“I won’t believe it until it happens,” he said, grinning playfully.
“Oh, it’ll happen.”
People say ‘pride cometh before the fall’, but it was difficult to tell which one would fall from their pride in this scenario. It seemed Lucio would be able to see her competitive side. A side she hasn’t been able to use in a while between acting and defending Korea. Hana began escorting the young man to the arcade.
“You know, if you want me to go easy on you, you can just ask.”
"Where's the fun on that?" Lúcio asked, arching an eyebrow at Hana and smiling. "Why do you offer? Do you expect me to go easy? Because I totally can if you want."
Lúcio wasn't really that competitive when it came to arcades, or video games in general. But Hana's prideful attitude amused him.
Lúcio noticed that Ray wasn't doing so good the second the taller man walked in. He took off his headphones and gave Ray a smile. "Hi, man, everything okay?" (drop-the-healing-beat)
(Upon seeing Lucio step into the room, Ray tried to feign a smile. But it quickly fell back down. He couldn’t bring himself to even fake everything being okay at the moment.)
Ray: “I wish I could say it was…” (He buried his face in his hands) “I got stood up for a date. Again. Even worse. I saw him with someone else today…”
@drop-the-healing-beat
Lúcio’s expression fell at that. Whoever had done that to Ray was an asshole.
“Shit, man, I’m really sorry.” Lúcio stepped closer, sitting beside Ray and putting a hand on his shoulder, giving him a reassuring squeeze. “Whoever it was… they don’t deserve you, okay? They’re missing out and you shouldn’t feel bad for someone that clearly doesn’t deserve you.”
Ray: “You think so…? I don’t know. Sometimes I think I’m doing something wrong. Maybe I’m just not good enough, you know?” (He sighed and looked down) “That’s…that’s what my first boyfriend always used to tell me. It’s always me that’s the problem…”
(He looks up at the DJ.)
“He held that point over my head so much, I can’t not believe it…“
Lúcio frowned at that, humming. “Well, let’s see. The only ways I could think of for you to not be good enough for a relationship is if you cheated on your boyfriend or were abusive. If you didn’t do either of those, then I’m sorry to tell you but your ex was an asshole.”
(Ray shook his head.)
Ray: “No. No, I could never hurt someone I love. Or…even someone I thought I loved…” (He sighs) “I know he wasn’t good to me. It’s just hard to get everything he drilled into my head out. I had no one and I was desperate for any kind of affection…”
(He looks down.)
“Pathetic, I know.”
At the other's words, Lúcio's expresión softened. He gave Ray an understanding smile. "You're not pathetic, you're human. We need affection."
"Besides, even if you were pathetic —which you aren't— no one has the right to treat you poorly." Lúcio crossed his arms. "That is pathetic."
drop-the-healing-beat:
“I’ve already gotten my good share of candy from the fans,” Lúcio admitted with a soft hum, smiling at Hana. “But the arcade sounds good.”
Lúcio didn’t remember the last time he had gone to an arcade to actually play. He usually had to go when it got dark and his younger siblings hadn’t come back home yet, sometimes he’d go with friends and play for ten minutes or so. But as years passed, and with Vishkar’s curfews, they had less and less free time and freedom to go to arcades.
“Oh, you picked wrong, mister! You are so getting owned in the arcade!”
Unless of course they played a cooperative game or something to that extent. Maybe she could win him a prize at one of those claw machine games? Then again, who was she kidding? Even with her amazing skill, those things were still completely rigged.
Lúcio couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm. He was sure there was a game or two in which he could defeat her. If Korean arcades were anything like the ones in Rio that is.
"I won't believe it until it happens," he said, grinning playfully.
drop-the-healing-beat:
Lúcio couldn’t help but laugh as Hana showed off her muscles with the confidence of a body builder trapper in the body of an international idol.
“Good to know I am in good hands,” Lúcio said with no trace of mockery in his voice before looking around. “What’s there to do around here? It is my first time in Busan.”
“There’s a lot to do!”
Hana couldn’t suppress her excitement at this point. It was going to be a fun time with Lucio around, or so she really really hoped. She brought up a little holographic map on a small circular device in the palm of her hands, pointing at various structures around Busan.
“There’s the candy shop, the arcade, the theater. A lot for you to do and unwind with before any concerts! And we have plenty of time to do just about everything!”
"I've already gotten my good share of candy from the fans," Lúcio admitted with a soft hum, smiling at Hana. "But the arcade sounds good."

Lúcio’s smile only widened with how enthusiastic and adorable D.Va was. He wondered if it was just a persons or she was actually like that.
At her question, he shook her head. “I’m good. Though I would really appreciate your company if you aren’t busy.”
“Well, I am not really allowed to leave your side for safety reasons, so you just made my job a lot easier!”
D.Va flexed her arm and put her other hand on her upper arm in a ‘strong’ pose, a confident expression finding its way onto her face.
“I’m supposed to be the ‘muscle’ while you’re here, just in case of any attacks!”
Which essentially meant if the Gwishin omnics showed up, she’d call her mech in and save the day like usual.
Lúcio couldn't help but laugh as Hana showed off her muscles with the confidence of a body builder trapper in the body of an international idol.
"Good to know I am in good hands," Lúcio said with no trace of mockery in his voice before looking around. "What's there to do around here? It is my first time in Busan."
If no one gives Lúcio lore then I might as well do so myself.
