2018 CNY

Besides this CNY being quite a humid one, it’s been one of my most engaging (at least for me) with friends and family.

It didn’t feel too rushed, and reconnecting with people was the highlight.

We had 23 people packed at home today!

There was certainly some catching up to do over the past few days of meet ups.

Upon reflection, the best part of it is that although we are all at different seasons, life-stages and challenges, the fact that we have each other is already itself a blessing.

Indeed, though quite a tiring one, I experienced the power of grace in kinship and in brotherhood. Imperfect and broken people, when they can look into each other’s eyes with that same kind in acknowledgement, could break through invisible walls and bridge those distanced years and differences.

Imperfect and broken people.. That we may serve each other with no agenda and learn how to Love.

It is the process, not the end, which is glorifying to God.
