(/ shuffling to the kitchen to get herself a cup of water, jihyo nearly startles at the sensation of something furry touching her toes in the dark ; wearing sunglasses in the house is not exactly productive but she copes, using them to hide her red-rimmed eyes from any passing clan member) what? (/ glances down, spotting a puppy of all things, whimpering quietly - almost unconsciously a small smile comes to her face as she kneels down, her voice quiet as she greeted the small animal, wondering who had brought it in) i’m sorry. i didn’t see you there. (/ sniffs lightly, holding out her hand for her to sniff, knowing that you don’t just up and pet a dog, no matter how young or small )

(/ stares up at the older woman blankly, head cocked to the side as if silently asking why the older was wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night -- or rather, suzy figured it was the middle of the night, couldn't exactly be bothered with telling time right now tbh) ..? ~ (/ blinks twice when the older kneels down, staying put as she watches her, brow raised when she stuck out her hand and cautiously steps forward to get a better sniff of her scent -- it smells almost sad yet the sweetness of gardenia lingers -- barking softly in approval, tongue flicking out to lick her fingers tentatively, nudging her head against the older's hand and whines softly; vain, vain attempt to cheer her up, sorta)
