Jibril managed to hold back a triumphant smile, not wanting to show that it actually make her feel better. After all, it seemed that about his health he would do anything just to stop people talking.

“Does smoked squid sounds good, since you agreed?” it wasn’t like she was going to insist, but sice he already said ‘yes’, she might as well use it and prepare something.

The decision wasn’t easy and she knew it could be a one-way trip, after all many have tried but only few succed. But the live was slowly growing to be irritating thing with no chance to overcome her problem, so even if took her some time to think about it, she was now sure she wanted to go to the dungeon.

The major problem that now started was the fact that even if she would gather enough information about that place (or at least as much as she could get), she was no skilled warrior. Or warrior in a first place. Should the any type of enemy jump out suddenly, she would be dead in a minute. So that put in need of hiring a warrior, but not just any would be sufficient. It should be the metal vesser user that already got through this point. After some elimintations, Jibril decided to chose Alibaba, the boy or the man, it didn’t matter, he achived something great and she wanted to see if he was going to take the risk.

Jibril found him in the tavern, drinking and laughing with some local men as he seemed to be rather relaxed. Making her way to his table wasn’t a problem and reaching her hand from under her cloack, she grabbed his sleeve, tugging it lightly to turn his attention.

“That is not that weird. I mean, not fully trusting the magicians” and not fully trusting any of the people was even better. After all, the might disappear one day, leaving you with their problems...oh, she might have flowed too much with her thoughs, so she simply returned to her task.

Of course it was a good idea, it was her idea after all. Blinking and looking around on more or less taken-care-of space she now stood up, placing it all on the side. “Would you like to eat something right now?”

Trouble

Why was he the one to deal with troublemakers?

Ja’far walked down from the palace to the town below, having been told someone was causing some unwanted disturbance in merchant’s shops.

Sinbad always sent his vizier to deal with it, and said vizier now found the person causing the mess.

“Ma’am? I have to take you into custody for the trouble you are causing,” he said calmly, hands hidden within the long sleeves of his government wear.

It all wasn’t that bad, at least not at the beggining, as she was avoiding the problems, as always, and as awlays it got to her by being at the wrong place in the wrong time. She didn’t even know how it happened that she was holding rather an expensive vase in the Sindria’s street and the angry owner going after her, shouting at her with an anger. He managed to drag her for the few meters before she protested, not waiting to be pulled in some kind of affair on the street.

Their argument became louder and louder untill they both could hear the voice behind her, the newcomer being more polite, but more official than her previous talking partner. Raising her hands in a deffensive manner, she nodded, hoping that the sooner this would end, the sooner she would be free.

“This is not what it looks like” Jibril added, being now more quiet and polite.

“Rather that using others to organize your work in a way they would know only a piece of it but not fully understand would assure you not only more hours to the day that you would wish to obtain, but also a safety since no one would know the whole piece of work” in the meantime she tried to organize the stuff on the desk, taking out the plates with still parts of food on them and trashes that were piling up in the corners.

“Or you can have magicians doing the simpler job like copying the texts, so it would be much faster”.

Night teasing (teen!Sinbad x teen!Raja)

Another story for @pinkmagoi, her OC Raja and teen!Sinbad. I think it didn’t went as we talked about, so sorry about that.

“Raja”

A voice that seemed distant put her out of her sleep, her eyes opening to immediately stare in the golden orbs that hovered over her, with Sinbad’s face being so close to hers she could feel his breath tickling the skin on her cheeks. A cold and sudden chill went down her spin and mostly in the instinct, her legs went up, hitting the other teenager right in the stomach with the knee, hearing the loud yelp when he hit the floor, curled on the ground.

“What do you think you doing?!” her panicked voice was still more than a whisper in the darkness as she moved to the edge of a bunk, looking down at him, the feeling both guilt and anger rushing in her as Raja looked down at his figure that tried to catch a breath. After moment Sinbad carefully rose from his ground position, grabbing the wooden frame and moving closer.

“Raja, I really need you right now” his tone was so firm and serious that it came to her mind that there might be an actual trouble. With a sigh, Raja nodded, hoping that this wouldn’t be one more dumb request on checking something that he though of suspicious or to beg her do some of the choruses with him and help him getting to the rest sooner.

Offering her to get up, Sinbad helped her to get up, almost sneaking with her out of the cabin as the moved through the decks of the ships, trying to be as silent as he could, as if he was afraid that they would be caught in the process. She still didn’t know what was going on, but looking at his serious expression, she hoped this was something interesting that he wanted to show her.

Her steps were loud on the creaking deck and every time anything would be louder, Sinbad would be flinching as he expected Rumuru to bump at them on any moment, telling them to come back to the sleep and not to waist time today. As they went on the outside deck, a cold breeze hit her on the body, her loose hair dancing on the wind as she tried to realise what is going on there. Moving her more to the edge, Sinbad stretched out his hand to look at the point far on the sea.

Raja squinted a bit, trying to focus something at the darkness, as she believed that there was something glimpsing at the sea. After what seemed to an eternity, the girl would swear that what she was seeing in there was actually…a person? Was this the thing Sinbad wanted to saw her? It made her wondering what was this about, was this a glimpse of an imagination, a joke or seriously…a mermaid?! Shooting him a look of disbelief, she tried to wrap her head about what was happening.

“Do you think it is a mermaid?! Raja, please, tell me what you see? Do you think we could swim and talk with them?” in his voice there was a huge excitement that mixed with the hope for something unknown. Now Raja realised that there was something in this – every time he needed help, he called for her like he expected she had no other thing to do but to be there for a snap of his finger. Huffing quietly she sighed up, taking his hands away from her arms.

“I don’t know, but I am going to sleep. Probably I am seeing just things because someone woke me up in the middle of the night, again” there was an emphasis on this word as she expected him now to leave her now and let her rest. What surprised her was the fact that he grabbed her wrist, stopping her in the place and turning her around.

“Are you going to run away from me?” his face was serious and somehow his words pulled the feelings in her, not being an apology but turning the subject of the talk to her. “The things I do make you angry?” now there was a hint of amusement in his voice. Now it was her turn to grab his wrist, gently putting it down.

“No, you are just…” she wanted to search for the words that would be much nicer than the truth and rubbing her eyes in slightly irritation, she shoot him kind of surprised look when he moved closer, wrapping his arms around her waist, his confident smirk appearing on his lips as his face was once again an inch closer.

“If you want to tease me back, I am here and all yours~” his voice was now extremely low, as the sparkle was almost visible in the corner of his orbs. What he didn’t suspect that in one minute, she manages to unwrap herself off his embrace, sneaking out and moving towards her cabin, shooting him a simple smile.

“Maybe when I get up after a proper sleep. Next time you want to charm a girl, you should remember about wearing a pants” she said, disappearing in the corridors, leaving him with a dreadful expression as he looked down with panic?

The maybe answer wasn’t good at all! Not like she was deeply connected, but somehow Koumei managed to kick into her motherly instincs that woken up the urge to hit the wall every time he fell asleep randomly on the scrolls. But here were no reasonings with him that wouldn’t sound creepy (”It’s easier to assasinate you if you aren’t well-rested”), rude (”You look bad!”) or personal (”I think that you should rest”). So right now she ad to gently try push him towards the more healthier

Jibril was mostly aware of her position, and aware that it wasn’t very high, so keeping herself low guaranteed her a longer and calmer life (without being decapitated and stuff like that). Not like she could also jump out with the detailed story of her life, so right now, being in the middle and not minding anyone was a very good option.

“Won’t it cause bigger problems?” like fainting, starving, death? And other unpleasant things?

“It would be far much problematic taking my current state. I mean, the fact that I am not aiging could be controversial a bit. So maybe let’s keep it in the way that until I find a way to become copletly mortal once more by not stabbing yourself or killing yourself in any other way, that would be good” ok, there, she said it. It was supposed to be a bit of a secret, but since he seemed to be a simple type of human, she decided that she would need to be a straightforwad with him. In the worst case scenario, he woulnd’t just believe in words she said.

“If you don’t want to be here, why are you strolling around this place anyway?” it seemed that he posed as the unwanting person that was pushed to be a hero, a thing she could even find as a cute in his poty behaviour. “Nice to meet you, Judar” she would lie if she said that the name means nothing to her, but it was never bad to be polite. “I am Jibril. A traveller, a no one”.

“Well, that is the best approach to the case” she said as her eyes followed the paper that decided to end its egsitence on the floor, with her sighing a bit and bending dow to pick it up after she placed a cup on the table, holding a paper in the distance she wouldn’t read it - to be honest, this was a part she didn’t really wanted to know, being aware that some of the things weren’t for her eyes.

“Still, the work is more efficient is one is well-rested, well-eaten and decided to take a healthy brake from sitting down for hours” which, miracously, was nothing true about Koumei. For sure everyone wonders why.

seven (favourite books): I love books in generally, but lately I would say it is the collection of books from Terry Prattchet. His works are genious and I still can’t get over the fact that he is no longer with us.

eight (last song listened to): Final Showdown - not really a song but an epic battle music, really, the one I can listen always

nine (last film watched): I think it was Storks. I love animations (long and short) so you can bribe me with watching animation

ten (inspiration for muse): I like to laugh I am too old for making OCs because by now I am going through the different aspects of life (not mine life, just general problems) and trying to find a way to positione my muse there. So I had a muse who acted really shy, a muse that was overly confident, the muse that dealt with the problems of the past, etc. So now Jibril is the personality that seeks her own path despite not wanting to be a hero of her own story. Great inspirations for me were characters of Jibril (No Game No Life), Ultear Milkovich (Fairy Tail) and Eclair (Fairy Tail), though I didn’t copy them.

I also hate my character to be very special snowflake in powers or abilities, but I like to give them an unique pin or point in storry, so that I coulld pull it as a good trail in the history or plot we are writing together.

Blinking,she tried to place a cup of tea on the table - with the main problem being the fact that there was zero free space to place anything there, except maybe more papers that would sooner or later happily colapse on the ground, with Jibril no doubting that if they could, they would run away starting a new life somewhere far away.

“You don’t sound disappointed though” she added carefully, not wanting to sound rude.

“I sadly can’t settle down, not right now. I mean, even with all things happening now, settling down before wasn’t an option, not untill I can fix certain things” she didn’t went into the details, not feeling like explaining everything to the man that still not introduced to herself, espeicially since it was the thing that it was simple to tell but not that easy to believe.

Hearing about his introudction she almost choke on the watter that she was sipping right now, looking at him with the shock written on her face. He was Magi and he decided to introduce this casually like that?! Blinking, she siged before scratching her chin, feeling like this simple visit could cause her more trouble than good. “And being Magi, you feel like sneaking into other’s people tents?” she somehow decided not to comment that part, feeling nervous about thinkig of the changes.
