lately ive started putting messages in bottles and lettin' the sea take em places, whoever reads em reads em. this message is no different, i think some of the notes ive sent out have prolly been sunk at some point so hopefully this one will reach a shore somewhere.
either way writin' out how i feel sometimes is nice, even if theres nobody out there to read it.
if youre readin' this that means one of my bottles survived through the seas rage, ive done a fair share of sailin' around some of the war seas and got some tales to tell cause of it. feel free to send a messenger bird with a note over to me asking about em, or just ask me anythin' really. it would be nice to speak with more people 'round the war seas. not fully sure how those birds find whoever the recipient is but im sure they'd get to me eventually
may this message persist through the waters

BREAKING NEWS!!!! @4-potentialities MAKES ANOTHER JOHANN RELATED BLOG!!!!
my son johanna johansson is my arcane odyssey creature and i adore him so, he follows the same story path as the player (alongside someone else), with the bonus of whatever shenanigans i get up to while playing, like my tendancy to just, kinda go places in search of reagents. <- johanna is a potionmaker
yea sure this is just The Character turned into an oc for an entirely different piece of media, but i can say he has probably evolved past just being The Character at this point
all messages sent to the inbox are sent by birds, and consist of writing on paper. your ask is not digital, tumblr is the ocean. if you want to send him an item make sure its specified otherwise im just gonna assume its in writing and thats it
^ due to how the inbox works for this blog, magic asks may not apply, and probably wont be done
his general posts will probably have has his name at the bottom similar to this post, since its a letter in a bottle travellin around the ocean
this is also probably the only blog where the tag directory is in the read more!!! thanks to this not being in a digital setting!!!, they are also partially diegetic, mostly in the literal sense of their tags, eg the ooc tag is him writing under the influence of the dark sea (likely in a location past the border), so slightly insane and dealing with the pollution
TAG DIRECTORY
࿐༄༄ fresh from the war seas - in character
࿐༄༄ across the waters - general
࿐༄༄ message received - inbox
࿐༄༄ polluted by the dark sea - ooc
as per usual this read more section could very well be updated with time
i wonder how many of my notes got swept over to the dark seas, prolly a lot of em. makes me question the strength of these bottles, would they be able to reach a shore before the weather out there breaks em? prolly not, theres some killer waves n weather out there.
I'll admit, I found the prospect of a note you threw to the waves landing within my grasp rather amusing. I didn't anticipate such would come to pass. Of course, one's expectations hold little influence over how things play out. Still... I do find some enjoyment in stumbling upon such a note, and have thus chosen to send you one myself.
Hm... I imagine I wouldn't need to sign off? I do believe my style of writing is rather distinctive, especially to someone such as yourself, Johanna.
considerin' that my notes could have gone anywhere, its kinda nice hearin' that you got one of em. been a little while since ive seen ya so i hope that the note found you well. i dont got much to write about at the moment, but i do hope to see ya soon Henn
wonder if anyone else doesnt use their boat as often as they should, im often travelin' alongside someone else on his boat, so mine typically gets left at a dock somewhere. i know she aint sentient or anythin' but i still feel a lil bad neglecting her sometimes.
i swear ive seen your name in the agora before... well anyway, do you have any notable stories from your travels?
wouldnt be suprised if ive been in the agora, now that im thinkin' about it ive prolly read my own name in there a couple times, a lotta the things i would speak on are best kept to those who have seen it, but i suppose i could tell ya 'bout an old treasure chart i found once. it took days to get done since the writer was placin' bits of their treasure across the entire bronze sea, and bein' real cryptic bout which islands specifically. it was worth it in the end but it still took much longer than some of the other charts ive picked up. had to take a bunch of unrelated stops too since mannin' the wheel started hurtin' my legs and i dont want the boat sailin' into a whirlpool, wouldnt want her takin' too much damage while the wheels unattended y'know?
