In reality, they usually go down to some large submerged floats.

Pillars and floats like that are pretty stable, compared to regular boats, so there’s even a research vessel, called FLIP, that purposefully capsizes itself to be more steady when conducting research.

Wow, the new redder Malice hue really does make Ganondorf’s creepy chest hole look like a wound that won’t heal, huh?

Also, the tentacle only comes out after Ganondorf woke up and snapped his head around to look at the royal expedition party, implying he’s in conscious control of it. The brightest Malice near his heart looks like fresh blood pouring out of the wound.
