🍋☀️Winter Sun Lemon Tea☀️🍋
I wanted to make a winter lemonade recipe but then I realized most people dont live in a sub-tropical environment and are freezing cold. So i changed it to a warm lemon tea instead. Even though technically its warm lemonade. It makes 1 cup! 🌟
It's perfect for the winter because yule/winter solstice is a time to focus on solar energies, warmth, and happiness☀️🎄
Uses:
to bring warmth, happiness, love, cleansing, protection, positivity, and friendship
To purify, anti-bacterial, immune boost, anti-nausea, digestion aid, vitamin C, helps with SAD
Ingredients:
1 lemon
Half a teaspoon of any of the following: juniper berries, rosemary, chamomile, mint, rose, hibiscus, dandelion, cinnamon, other citrus or berries (this is a list of possibilities not nessisary items, so dont worry if you only have 1 or 2 of these, they all combine well so you can get creative with the combos!) My personal favorite combo is lemon tea with chamomile, juniper, rose, hibiscus, and a fresh spring of rosemary from my garden. Sometimes I add a little cinnamon to give it an extra warm kick
Hot water
Honey or sugar to sweeten
Your favorite mug
Drink whenever you need a mood boost, cleansing, warmth, etc.
Enjoy it DURING the winter solstice/yule to connect with the days' energies
Share it with a friend, family member, or partner to help bring a closer bond, love, and positive energy
I like to drink mine while holding my favorite citrine or yellow crystal
Because of the strong flavors, I wouldnt let it brew for longer than 10 minutes unless you're sure youd like the strong taste
Use as much of the lemon as you can but I like to just squeeze the halves till it's all juice and then I might add a slice or 2 I saved after
It’s that time of year yall
Ways to Open Yourself to Receiving Energy:
Stretch. Really stretch all your muscles and loosen your limbs. Even just sitting up with better posture for a moment.
Stand outside in the sun, palms up. Take a few deep breaths and let the light flood you.
Listen to your favorite cathartic music a little bit louder than usual. Get lost in it.
Close your eyes and stand with your feet together. Focus on where your balance is. Center it if it isn’t.
Write down every thought you have as soon as you think it for about 10 minutes.
Clean/organize your space.
Pick up a mantra or another repetitive task that calms you.
Lay flat on your back in the grass. Feel how expansive the earth is beneath you.
Focus on your environment instead of yourself. Leave your walls behind. Let the earth protect you.
POV: you now live with the village witch
because i love y’all, i’m sharing my family’s recipe for apple tea (traditional fall/winter drink in west asia, turkey, and many areas of the balkans)
it’s like a more delicate version of apple cider and i basically live off of this stuff when the weather starts to cool!
Apple Tea (for two)
1 large apple or 2 small, shredded (you can use a cheese grater)
3 cups water
1-2 cinnamon sticks
2-3 pc clove (optional)
honey to taste
1 tsp of lemon juice (add at end)
green tea (optional! some versions call for green tea but i actually prefer it without. up to you!)
throw it all in a pot and let it simmer on a low temperature for an hour or so. while it’s simmering, it will also make your home smell delicious! (if you make it with green tea, add the tea at the end, about five minutes before taking it off the heat so the flavor doesn’t become bitter from oversteeping). strain into your cups and enjoy hot.

Me Explaining Zodiac Sign Elements at a Dinner Party to People Who Have Never Heard of Them
FIRE
Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are different kinds of fire. Aries is wildfire. Uncontrollable, dangerous, and at its strongest, unstoppable. Leo is the “burning stone” that is the core of the Earth. Its flames are hidden. Not as loud as Aries, but burns even more relentlessly, neverendingly. Sagittarius is the fire from a match, a lighter, a barbecue grill. Seems small and fleeting compared to the other two, but is the most practical, grounded and accessible of them all.
WATER
Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are water’s different forms. Cancer is the kind we can drink. Nurturing, nourishing, essential. And yet often seen as plain and taken for granted. Scorpio is the ocean — more than 80% of which is still left unexplored in 2022. Deep, mysterious, dark, and honestly, terrifying too. Pisces is the rain. Its lightness and surface positivity bring cleansing and life to almost everyone it meets. Many find it romantic. Although, too much of it creates flooding… causes drowning.
AIR
Libra, Aquarius and Gemini are all air. Libra is the sudden light breeze on an otherwise hot day. Soft, gentle, beloved, and always welcome. Aquarius is the biting wind in the winter. Strong, bright, fierce… loved only by a select few. Evokes darkness and loneliness in most. Gemini is an air conditioner. Smart, modern, and well, artificial. Some would say innovative. Its boisterous presence alleviates discomfort. When it’s off, people beg for it. But too much of it often makes people sick.
EARTH
Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo are different treasures of Earth. Capricorn is metal. Hard, tough, useful. A solid frame that’s difficult to break. Sounds common and unexciting, however. Taurus is precious stones. Beautiful, ethereal, desired by all. Sometimes, unassuming. Most times, magical. Virgo is cement and concrete. Soft and easygoing, yet makes for the strongest foundation. Seems boring on paper, but wears masks of different makes and colors.
