I’m starting to feel a shift within me. After a year of feeling darkness, heaviness, and the weight of adulthood resting on my shoulders. Responsibilities, bills, daily life, work, couples therapy, planning, schedules. All those “adult” things. Somewhere along the way, I lost that girl who loves adventure, loves to travel and explore. The one who loves to take risks, who’s bold and carefree. The girl who was proud of her body.

I lost her. But now I’m starting to feel like she’s coming back. An adventure is ahead of me. Another winter in Europe, on the road with my loves. I want to bring out that child who loves to play and doesn’t take life so seriously.

Do you also feel that when adulthood takes over, you sometimes lose yourself? What do you do to find your inner child again? I genuinely need some tips.

This winter, I’m going to nourish that child who wants to play in the world. It’s time for her to come out again. ✨🌻

One more round of chemo and we find out if this was in vain. I was mistakenly splitting the 200 mg into two doses because when you start that particular medication you are supposed to work up to the full dose by first only taking one 100 mg pill and then the two 100 mg pills the next time until the doctors say stop.
