This past year has been insane, I guess you could say I hit my quarter life crisis around this time last year. Not really knowing what I was doing, feeling like all my #projects and #ideas some how always failed, and my decisions always being reevaluated and opinionated by my peers and elders. I was feeling lost, confused, and for the first time in my life not really confident in what I wanted to do with my life. I was feeling like I was wasting my time. Always looking for the next quick buck, or looking for that job that I would be some what good at and not completely hate my life in 20 years. Feeling the pressure from #society to get "A real job". But every time I found my self sitting at a desk #job or working some #labor job, i ended up bailing by lunch time. Not because I'm a quitter or because I was being lazy, but because I knew that's not where my #God given talents were. Around this time last year I decided I wasn't going to give in to the pressure of what every one around me thought I should be doing, I decided I was going to be selfish this year. I was going to #embrace all of my #strengths, and challenge my self on my #weaknesses for myself and no one else. It was hard but looking back it was my favorite decision I've made thus far. A lot of us in our #20s, have this constant feeling that we are getting older faster then we actually are and we are running out of time. Some girls feel like their biological clock is ticking, and some of us guys feel like we don't have enough to provide for a family we don't even have yet. Before you know it your going to spend the first half of your life worrying about the things you don't even have. My point being, be in the now , be young, learn, grow, save a little and play a lot, don't be afraid to #love your self, find your #talents and don't be afraid to #build the #life #YOU want with them. #happysaturday
