Blast From The Past | Emi/Milo/Lyla
Emi had just opened her mouth to speak when suddenly, the skanky blonde she saw earlier stormed in between them. Then her lips were on Milo’s and she was clinging to him like some desperate whore. Emiliana was so shocked that she literally just stood there, eyes glancing back and forth between the two. She wanted to stomp her foot and storm out, but she still hadn’t said what she needed to say and now this little bitch was getting in their way. When Milo finally introduced them, Emi just stared at the girl, eyebrow raised. She didn’t know what to say; she had nothing to say to her.
So this was the ex. Lyla should have known. The stuck up bitch totally had the heartbreaking slut vibe. That only made Lyla see red. Well, redder. But she wouldn’t let it show; she wouldn’t let the girl know she bothered her that much. Instead she just slid her free arm around Milo’s torso much like the other one in a somewhat possessive way. She had never been this close to him, but she couldn’t think about that right now. Or how warm his body felt against hers. Or how her lips still tingled from the kiss. No, that was silly! She just hadn’t had sex in a while and was all riled up because of this girl. Yeah, that was it. She put on the nicest smile she could muster, playing it as cool as she could. “Nice meeting you. Guess I have you to thank. I wouldn’t have him in my life if it wasn’t for you.” To accentuate her words, she turned to look at Milo again, her smile softening up.
Milo had to replay what happened in his mind. He remembered her walking up to them, and then the kiss- and that’s where it all went fuzzy. The kiss. He wet his lips, looking at her. Even as she spoke to.. whoever she was talking to. Raising his eyes, he finally caught another glance at Em, and the angry look on her face, and then he remembered. How could he have forgotten so quickly and so completely? Then he realized what she was doing. Lyla was playing a part. She was pretending they were together and he felt an actual pang of disappointment. But despite that, he wrapped his arms around her, running his hand up to her elbow and played along. “You don’t have to thank all of my exes,” he said with a smile and a soft chuckle. “I told you you’d have me no matter what.” Kissing her hair line, Milo felt more confidence when he looked at his ex. “She was just checking in on me, which I really appreciate Em, but we have to get to rehearsal. Are you coming to the show tonight?” He couldn’t be mean to Em, no matter how satisfying it may be.Â
