Personal vent/rant/ramble
I don’t know how they did it. Truly, I don’t. My mind is genuinely baffled - I have been “bamboozled” as some would say.
I live with my partner, who currently doesn’t have a job. Okay, okay, understandable.
They’ve filed for unemployment once.
And they refuse to file again due to it having had sat in fact finding for a month.
Yes, we struggled between that, but it was a LUMP SUM. It saved us.
I am sending them my pay check. Taking my bank balance to $1.30 on the normal.. And then I get hit. With my OWN bills from past health issues. And suddenly I’m -$300.
“Hey love, don’t forget the vet appointment!”
They “forgot”. I just happened to check their account..
I gave you everything. Nearly 1k to do us for a simple two weeks. It’s hard but we do it!! Literally according to them, yesterday, they HAD THE MONEY, but just FORGOT THE APPOINTMENT THAT HAPPENS LITERALLY EVERY MONTH?!?!
My darling is miserable. She has hip dysplasia on top of arthritis. I am having to take her to the box and help her relieve herself. I am having to bring the water and food dishes to her.
I just got off of my 8hr shift.
They’re still asleep. On the sofa. They were asleep when I got up to clock in.
We haven’t even slept in the same bed in Gods know how long.
The ONLY silver lining is that they’re the ones to go shopping since I work. They only get the food they like, so honestly it’s a win-win. I don’t have time to eat, to feel my hunger or cravings. I can’t request the fast foods I used to love, or the sweet treats. If I did eat I don’t think we would have food to feed them.
It also helps that I am convinced the reason for our sudden decline within the relationship is the extra 4lbs I gained during the Holidays.
