He’s focused on people as they walk up and down the streets—a daily missions for the peacekeeper before he could really do much of anything else. Cheek placed in hand as he laid upon the ledge overlooking, he blinks when he sees a bit of a shadow and looks up to see Juri.

Great.

Jamie goes to speak, though before he can he lips press against his free cheek and she leaves shortly after—though the motion causes colour to rise to his face and he jumps up to his feet—only to go after her.

“Hey! Juri, wait up! What was that for !?”

“Dude, I’ve seen way too much…And why does this guy keep thinking I’m gonna marry his daughter…?” They aren’t even formally dating yet! His words are muttered under his breath before he speaks to Juri directly.

“Get me some eye bleach, I’ll need it. There ain’t enough alcohol in the world to help me recover from that.”

maybe majima was misreading the room here, but he knew what he was like with kiryu-chan, & juri is the exact same when it comes to this dude. he couldn't help but chuckle at the other's suffering though.

“Whoa, hey, I didn’t say that! But we’re not even dating, man! It’s to early to even thing about shit like that!” Christ, the last thing he needed was to get on Majima’s bad side—dude was weird enough. This whole situation was just bad and he couldn’t even LOOK at him when he was dressed in..that.

“Right. Yeah, sure. Okay.”

@juriean sent: writes her name on his cast in big bold letters && doodles all over it. included some hearts in the mix.

He blinks as she takes his arm; the touch I surprisingly gently for her, though she’s seemed…off, since the incident. He never said much about it—knowing how she would react in denial and all. A brow raises softly as he looks over to her writing and doodling on his arm; cheeks tinting a reddish hue when he saw hearts etched into the golden coloured cast. The bitterness of the accident which rendered his wrist useless had come to less then a simmer.

“Uh…hey. Whatcha doing?” The peacekeeper questions, tone light and soft as he speaks. A soft hum leaves him as his chocolate gaze glands to her leg before back to Juri who still seemed so focused on what she was doing. “And, uh…how’s your leg doing?”

I ended up getting sick myself so now Jamie gets his broken wrist a little longer.

Legs dangle off the ledge looking over the streets; cheek in his palm; his other hand resting close to his chest in a sling. The cast underneath is a similar shade of golden yellow as the rest of the clothing that he wore; but with one hand—there wasn’t much he could do.

A grunt leaves the peacekeeper as he gets to his feet and walks away from the ledge, taking a deep breath and keeping his injury close to him as he bends forward and uses his good hand to keep himself lifted in the air. There’s an attempt to spin his legs—but he falls with a grunt instead, sitting up quickly and shaking his head. He moves to try again—the same result. Again. The same. Fall after fall after fall—unable to gather as much momentum without the use of his other hand.

Sweat glistens against his skin; he stands and moves to lean against the nearest tree—his fist collides with it and a frustrated cry escapes him. How can he protect this place if he can’t fight? The last thing he needed was to call his cousins to take over temporarily…

Hiss back leans against the tree and slides down; elbow resting on his knee as he furrows his brows towards the ground; chest heaving from heavy breathing; frustration written all over his face.

“I think if you’ve lost six times by the same dude, then maybe you gotta increase your training.” He can’t help but snort at her words; the sleeve of his jacket hiding the yellow cast underneath it; the colour matching his clothing. Though his arm seems very stiff under said fabric, and Jami raises his good hand slightly.

“I’d offer to help but uh…I’m sort of out of the whole fighting thing for the next little while.” He had to grit his teeth briefly, but maintain his composure. What a drag…

“Pretty sure there’s a whole lotta people that could give you a hand, though. As much as I hate to say it, Luke has a training ground around here…”

He is going to swing the door of the vehicle open and jump and roll out of the car. He may get an injury but at least he won’t be possibly dead—

There’s a loud CRACK—a painful noise leaving him as he rolls; trying to avoid major injury, he was met with another injury all the same. His left hand grips onto his right wrist—he can feel the bone shift; brows furrowing. “…Shit.”

Teeth grit together and he glances over at Juri who rolls out of the drivers seat and laughs. His brow twitches and he shifts to get onto his knees; then to his feet, while still holding onto his wrist and the broken bone under the skin. Usually he would say something but he was so focused on the pain and how annoyed he was by her current wreckless behaviour—he can’t fight like this—and so without a word, he is walking away from the commotion and to the nearest hospital, instead.
