"Enceladus"
She glows beneath a quiet sky A question dressed in lullaby Her steps are soft, her voice is low Like winter light on falling snow Her thoughts are stars that drift and spin With oceans folded deep within She doesn’t speak in open flame Yet every silence knows her name She’s made of stillness, gentle frost Of beauty found in what seems lost A moon that wanders close, then far You feel her smile, then trace her star She stays, but like a dream that fades In sunlit thoughts or shadowed shades Not far enough to feel alone But never quite what I could own She’s not a storm that breaks or sways She’s calm in unexpected ways And though she hides behind her grace You feel the warmth around her space She is a hush that understands The ones who speak with open hands A stranger still, but somehow known Like whispered truth in quiet tone I never held her, yet she stays In constellations, quiet days Not mine to keep, not meant to be But always brushing close to me She is Enceladus still bright A moon just grazing morning light And maybe she won’t walk my way But stars like her don’t need to stay
