CloudSpotter App features on the BBC

The CloudSpotter App, which myself and Fiasco Design worked on their introductory video, recently featured on the BBC Breakfast news.

Gavin Pretor-Pinney, the creator of the app, who also runs the The Cloud Appreciation Society and Richard Allan, a climate scientist from the University of Reading spoke on the show. They discussed how the app can help us identify cloud formations in the sky and how the technology is being utilised by NASA to gain a better understanding of our changing climate. AE & C4D Meetup

I'll be attending my first AE & C4D group meetup on 09/04/13 at 7:00pm Chromacode Studios Unit 1, 3-5 Dunston Road, Shoreditch, London, E8 4EH, London.

Should be a great night as The Moving Picture Company (MPC) will be doing a talk. Guest speakers include Dave Haupt,Creative Director at FX Studio and both Rupert Creswell and John Sunter, artists and directors of MPC FXStudio.

Give a Grad a Go

Give a Grad a Go is a graduate recruitment specialist, helping graduates find fantastic career opportunities and employers find talented and experienced graduates. I was approached by TopLine Communications to create this animation for Give a Grad a Go, to help introduce the company and promote their services. I worked on all aspects of the video, from creating the storyboards and illustrations to the animation itself. It was a very rewarding project to work on and it's been such a success they've adapted all their new branding to fit in with the style of the animation. Thanks to Echoic for the sound design.

Pink Imp logo sting

I was approached by Pink Imp to re-design their logo sting for 2013, this time going for a dark and gritty approach reflected in the visuals and music.

Merry Christmas!

2012 has been a very exciting year for me. I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with great people on some really interesting projects and wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of that. It's been a lot of hard work but it's all been worth it and I'm really looking forward to seeing what 2013 has in store. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Dean

Sonovate

Sonovate is a company aimed at helping people start-up and grow their own recruitment businesses. I was approached by TopLine Communications to create this explanatory video that helps describe the process how Sonovate can help you with your business. After being supplied with a script I created all aspects of the video, from story boarding to the illustration and animation.

Hiring Hub

Hiring-Hub is an award winning online recruitment agency, aimed at simplifying the process of recruitment. I was asked by Fiasco Design to create this animated video for Hiring-Hub to help explain that process and inform people of the advantages of their services. Fiasco supplied me with the artwork and from there I brought it all to life.

MA Action

Broadcast ident created for MA Action, a combat channel dedicated to bringing the very best of multi-discipline UK martial arts. As well as the ident I was asked to create a generic introduction frame for the fighters that could have editable content for their stats and images. Hop over to my website to have a look

Cloudspotter App

The Cloud Appreciation Society have developed the Cloudspotter App to inform and educate users about the different aspects of clouds and their formations. This animation helps introduce users to the world of clouds and I was brought on board by Fiasco Design to help create it. Fiasco supplied me with the artwork and from there I put it all together, working on all the animation and post production.

No Letting Go

No Letting Go are a nation wide inventory management company. They required a promotional video that could be targeted at investors by illustrating key points about the business in an informative and engaging way. I was brought in by TopLine Communications to create the video.

BergHind Joseph

Promotional video created for BergHind Joseph, a London based communication agency. I worked closely with TopLine Communications, story boarding and co-directing the video, as well as creating all the motion graphics and post production work.
