Songs that get stuck in your head for weeks are the worst, but the best at the same time.
Agreed. Or even worse is when you just see a line of lyrics and you hear them so clearly in your head that it gets stuck there anyways, ugh. It’s okay if you actually like the song.
I know exactly what you mean. Like, traveling constantly seems like such a great life until you actually have to do it… not that I’m complaining. I wouldn’t have it any other way. But you’re right. It’s exhausting and being home is nice.
I know, right? I was so excited for touring and I still am, but it starts to weigh on you after the first few days after being with someone.. And then having to be apart. Maybe I’m just being over dramatic because I feel the same way like it’s amazing to be able to do this and call it a job. But it’s still hard sometimes.
Nah, you don’t ever get used to it. I traveled around for a whole month and was still, if not more tired and unaccustomed to it than I was when I first started. Very true, its kind of weird because where you go you’re not actually alone because there’s always a fan or two or some kind of security, but you still feel very alone.
Mhm it’s definitely a weird and unique kind of feeling, being alone but literally surrounded by people every night. I suppose it’s more to do with who’s around you and the lack thereof rather than the amount? Like quality over quantity or whatever that saying is. I just missed the familiar faces and well people I care about. Not that I don’t care about the fans or crew, it’s different. I’m glad to be back. I don’t know how you could do it.. A whole month, wow.
You could have someone fly out to meet you?
Yeah.. I could, but the problem with that is the person I really want to see the most is too sick right now to make that kind of journey. So I’m kinda screwed if I have to fly back out anywhere soon.

I wasn’t either, but it happens. You know I don’t like hearing about that kind of stuff and you do it anyways, so. Whatever. As long as you’re okay and feeling fine then that’s all that matters to me.

Because I’m irresponsible and don’t think ahead, obviously.
You’d think after being on many coast to coast flights you’d be used to it, almost fall into a routine or something. But, nope. It’s equally as tiring and frustrating every time. Being alone makes it worse I think. Home is seriously underrated.
