hello everyone!   I’m the mun of this blog, you can call me 𝙲𝙸𝙽𝙽𝙰  (he/him pronouns please).

I was born in 1999, so do the math to figure out my age if you want, but I’m 21+.

I’ve been rping on forums since 2012, and on tumblr since around 2015. I also write several other muses here in Isola, you can find my directory here. 

I’m autistic and hella anxious, so I’m not the best at ooc chatting but I try! I really wanna make friends in the group and write some cool plots with you all.

English is my first language, but I’m a linguistics nut so I’m usually in the process of working on learning others. Currently, I also can read and write Spanish semi-fluently, and hoping to expand further in the future.

I’m a music composition major in my last semester, I’m taking a light load of classes though, so I’ll probably be on here a lot!

WELL, THAT’S UNFORTUNATE.   They should have held on to their stick better. Sure, they could always pick up another, but this one is special. And now it’s fallen somewhere down a storm drain, and Frisk can’t quite reach it. They’ve managed to pull the grate off and are hanging half into the drain, arm stretched out-- fingertips just out of reach. 

Hearing footsteps, they scramble back, then turn around to spot another kid that looks to be around their age. 

“ hey, could you help me? i dropped something down the drain. i just need someone to hold my feet so i can reach further down. ”

“My spirit attached itself to you?” Chara interrupts. “You can’t be serious. Spirits aren’t even real.”

Then Chara remembers that, oh, wait, there are literal ghost monsters in the underground. They pause.

“OK, fine, they are real, they just don’t work like that. This is extremely farfetched.“

Then the strange child says they broke the barrier, along with a somehow-still-alive Asriel and the other monsters, and their expression hardens further. If this is some sort of practical joke, it’s not funny.

“How.”

FRISK GIVES A LITTLE SHRUG   in response. For all their resetting, they still don’t know how it happened.   “ we’ve tried to figure it out, ”   they mention-- it’s true. They’ve talked about it a little bit. But it never went far, with neither child knowing the reason. 

In the end, Frisk had decided just to accept their chatty companion. 

Of course, after everything, it’s... a little bit hard to explain it all. Still-- it’s not like they have anywhere else to be, or anything more important to do than this. So, why not? 

As they tell Chara of their adventures, mostly about the latest run, the one that actually ended happy, they realise that it really does sound a little far-fetched-- but what reason would they have to make it all up anyway? It’s a lot to make up. Hopefully, Chara will come to the same conclusion-- but if not, Frisk will convince them. Somehow. 

By the time they finish, it’s completely dark. 

“... and that’s how we got rid of the barrier. now, as far as i know, everyone’s still living on the surface. things are pretty good. ”   They stop, tracing their finger in circles in the dusty ground of the alleyway. I just wish there had been a way to bring Asriel back for good too. 

Perhaps it would be asking too much. Or perhaps Frisk will find out some way to do it later. But first, they have to get out of this place and back to the beginning.

Chara’s smile fades. Everything this strange child is saying is completely baffling, but one word sticks out that proves that what they’re saying is somehow true.

“Asriel? How do you know Asriel?”

“Asriel is dead,” they say, trying not to let their voice crack at those words. “And so am I. You’re not making any sense - you might know his name, but it’s impossible for you to have met either of us.”

“Unless you’re from some sort of… alternate timeline?” Chara offers, quirking their eyebrow. “When did you fall into the Underground? I fell in 2015, and I was there for three years.”

“ i... i know that, ”   Frisk nods, releasing a sigh. Okay, that’s one less thing to have to explain, so that’s good, right?  “ i fell in 2115-- i’m from your future i guess, and you must be from my past. ”

They’d blame the reset, but whatever’s happening here is outside Frisk’s control. Which is continually baffling to the child. But no matter-- they became friends before, so Frisk is certain that they can again. 

“ i guess you don’t know anything about what happened after you died, huh? ”   As far as Frisk knew, Chara hadn’t been conscious until they’d fallen. At least, it certainly didn’t seem that way.   “ when i fell, you sort of... attached yourself to me. your spirit, that is. at first you were just a voice in my head, but after awhile i could see you. it took a lot of tries, but eventually, i-- no, we-- you, me, asriel, and the other monsters too-- we were able to break the barrier. ”

They smile at the memory, but it’s short-lived-- though it takes only a moment to reappear on their features. Even if they reset that timeline, if they can get things back to normal, they’ll be able to do it again. Though, all this certainly does complicate things a little bit. For all Frisk knows, maybe the reset didn’t work at all, and the two of them were just brought... here, while everyone else was still free. I’m sure Toriel will wonder where I am, if that’s the case. 

Or maybe they’d messed up the timeline so much that it had broken entirely. 

Hopefully it was the former option.

Chara isn’t asleep. They practically never sleep. They hear the footsteps approaching them and nearly groan - how many people are going to “coincidentally” visit this alleyway? How many times is someone going to come bother them in the middle of the night? Is there a neon sign pointing here?!

But then a child’s unfamiliar voice calls their name, and they look up from their makeshift bedding of discarded mattresses and old clothes to see the voice’s owner, an unfamiliar face. An unfamiliar human face, saying that they’re “here too.”

Someone from home. A human from home who knows them. A threat.

They get to their feet and draw their knife, making it clear - despite the fact that the knife is literally a wooden toy, out of hopes that the darkness hides that fact - that they’re holding a weapon.

“I’ll tell you after you tell me this,” they say with a wide smile, the smile they always wear.

“How do you know my name.”

oh.   They don’t recognise them. Frisk stops, taking a step back, lifting their hands-- maybe something happened in the reset? But... this Chara’s definitely... solid. 

Frown stays on their face, but they try their best to appear non-threatening (something that they’re remarkably good at). They wonder if it’ll be any good as they think before answering. 

“ asriel told me about you, ”   they reply, and slowly lower themself to sit on the ground-- a little over two metres away from Chara. 

“ and... ” 

A pause. Frisk carefully considers-- Chara clearly doesn’t remember them. That’s fine, they’re used to that sort of thing. Though... not with Chara. Still-- it won’t be anything different than their other friends, right?

“ we’re friends. ”   They decide to go ahead and say it.   “ we met when i fell into the underground for the first time. ”   The fact that Chara wasn’t there this time when they woke up, means they have to handle this just a little differently.   “ i’ve actually really missed you a lot-- it’s been really quiet without you. ”

They decide not to mention that Chara’s dead.

THEIR STEPS CARRY THEM   through the city at twilight-- it’s nearly dark, and far past the time that a child Frisk’s age should be at home, in bed. Not that they much mind that-- after everything, they’re not particularly concerned. 

Besides that, they’re not the only child out here so late-- with a glance down an alleyway as they pass, they spot a strangely familiar figure. 

Curious, naturally, Frisk steps off the main path into the alley, approaching until they’re sure that it’s who they think it is, then--

“ chara? ”   they call out their-- friend’s? Frisk thinks they’re friends, at least. it’s a little complicated-- name, quietly but hopefully loud enough to stir them if they’re asleep.   “ you’re here too? ”

Frown crosses their features as they pause, a short distance from Chara, tilting their head inquisitively.  “ what are you doing out here? ”

Gotta draw my icons and stuff so it might be a little slow-going, but go ahead and like this post for a little starter once I’m all set up. Capping at 7.

THEY RUB THEIR EYES AS THEY WAKE UP   yet again on the ground. But this time, something’s different. This isn’t the Underground. It’s not the surface either. 

There’s a huge hole in the ground nearby-- not too unlike the one that had taken them to the Underground for the first time so long ago (though, they suppose, it was probably just a few minutes ago at this point), but much, much bigger. 

What had gone wrong?

They climb to their feet, looking around. There are other people here too. It seems like they’d all just woken up like Frisk had. 

This is definitely not the way it’s supposed to be.

A 10-year-old kid who has been looping their own timeline for quite some time now, trying to find an outcome with a happy ending for everyone.

A true friend of the world, just wants to help people

At the same time, virtually fearless and believes themself to be above consequences.

Really just a very nice kid who likes sweets, puzzles, taking naps, and making friends, but with a healthy dose of reckless curiosity.

Post reset after True Pacifist, has never completed a genocide run or killed any main characters, except Toriel once, accidentally, which they went back and undid.
