To say Iām simply proud of Minho would be a massive understatementā¦
Heās come so far in the eleven years weāve got to spend with him, from the shy and awkward kid to the confident man we know and love today. Heās hardworking and dedicated, compassionate and friendlyā¦Heās a gentle soul; truly,Ā heās a role model who we can all benefit to look up to.Ā
Many people know now, but I think there was a span of time where not a lot of fans acknowledge the work he would do just in SHINee, with writing lyrics alongside Jonghyun since their very first album. He mentioned it himself, as well as the fact that he worked hard while training to learn how to dance and sing. Despite feeling personally unprepared when it came time to debut, he strove to keep practicing and working as hard as he could to be the best for SHINee and for us. To this day, he stills strives to improve on the skills heās cultivated over the years, not only with singing and dancing but also with acting as well.
Minho is a well-rounded idol who deserves our respect and appreciation!
Honestly, and I know Iām very biased, I think that Minho is one of the kindest idols in the industry. Other celebrities heap nothing but praise on him for his kind and genuine nature. Time and again, Iāve seen comments that say how kindhearted he is and that if youāre going to like a celebrity, heās a good choice.
Iāve mentioned it before, how his nickname isĀ āSHINeeās Heart Aidā or āChoi Tenderheartā, which I feel is really telling of his character. He is usually the first to comfort the other members when they are crying, and heās so supportive of them and their solo activities, despite his own busy schedule. He has so much love to share, and the other SHINee members are lucky to be on the receiving end of it, regardless of how much they may tease him.Ā
Anyways, Minho is made of love and kindness, and he only deserves love in return!
Not only is he dedicated and kind, but he is also gentle with others. One perfect example of this is how he interacts with children! There are so many instances, but the freshest one in my mind is when he took Sian to China in his fatherās stead. I know Iām not a parent myself, so I can only imagine the level of trust that Sianās parents have concerning Minho and Sian (as well as their daughters). Heās been nothing but gentle with children since Hello Baby with Yoogeun.
I know Iāve never had the pleasure to meet him, but given the evidence weāve seen over the past eleven years, I can say with complete confidence that Minho is genuinely kind and tenderhearted. The world would be a lot better place if there were more people in it like our Minho!Ā
