Shout out to my favorite single line delivery in Mermaid Mask, when Grimoire says "What??" After learning that coral is alive and in fact an animal. He sounds so astounded, flabbergasted even. Tbh tho, I didn't know that either so I was equally astounded and flabbergasted

It's actually insane that I asked someone if they made an art piece with AI, and when I ask if there's a time-lapse or proof they didn't, the post and my comments are deleted.

He looked so tired, he WAS so tired. Of all of it. And even STILL, he cared enough about everyone to help tie up their loose ends, the misconceptions. AND HE FIXED THE COMPASS SO THEY COULD GO HOME.

TO LEAVE. TO LIVE, TO BREATHE.

He left Cornelius behind because he no longer cared for that desire. All i can do is hope he got what he wanted. Although I DESPERATELY hope he's alive and ok. I don't think it is but a GIRL CAN DREAM, ALRIGHT?

(granted, he did kill Mortuga and deserves jail time, I'm not condoning his actions but AUGH)

Cons of Detective Grimoire games having a very small fanbase:

-you want new content? You gotta make it yourself or be patient

-No merchandise, not even on Etsy (last time I checked)

-THE GAME DESERVES A BIG FAN BASE, IT'S SO GOOD!! It's such a beautiful game with an amazing art style, amazing voice actors, beautiful music, the plot, the small details, and the amount of love put into this game is PALPABLE. Everyone who worked on it deserves so much recognition and love, 100000/10 game!

Pros of the game fanbase being small:

-the voice actor of Grimoire HIMSELF liked one of my posts

General Detective Grimoire Spoilers

(specifically Tangle Tower and Mermaid Mask)

I remember first watching Secret of the Swamp. It's a damn good game but I didn't really have a favorite character.

Then Tangle Tower and I'm innocently watching it, having a good time. And then. Penelope enters stage left and I love her instantly. She's funny, beautiful, I love her sass. She instantly becomes my favorite. I was HEARTBROKEN she was the murderer ;-;. She's still one of my favorites of course but aughggfg whyy

THEN Mermaid Mask comes out. And here comes the BEAUTY that is Tanya. I realize I have a thing for confident women BUT THATS BESIDES THE POINT. She is now my favorite character. I sit there watching and thinking "I swear if my favorite is the murderer again, im gonna lose it."

THEN GODRIK GRIPP ENTERS THE NARRATIVE AND I AM HOOKED

I'm watching the game play out and as time goes on, Godrik slowly becomes my favorite by a LANDSLIDE. And for SOME reason, my brain still thinks Tanya is going to be the murderer. So I'm stupidly, thinking "Oh good, my favorite isn't the murderer this time!"

AND THEN THE LITTLE FIGURE OF HIM IS IN THE SHIP IN THE BOTTLE AND I'M THE FOOL ONCE MORE
