I want a home mostly just to welcome people into it. There will be bowls of candy for guests, and the cookie jar is full. Iāll always sayĀ āI was just about to make a coffee/tea/cocoa, would you like one?ā when somebody walks in. Thereās lemonade and iced tea made fresh on hot days. Once it hits That Hour and they start saying they really should be going, Iāll remind them that the futon is always open, and Iām making cinnamon rolls tomorrow. Thereās champagne and sparkling juice hidden on a high shelf just in case somebody announces their engagement or their pregnancy or their new job while theyāre here. There is an extra chair in the living room, at the table, and on the deck, and itās for you. I want to be able to sayĀ āif youāre ever in trouble, come to me.ā

Well, first I would cheekily say watch the show because itās so good, BUT I wanted to draw whoās who and it quickly turned into a little collage.

In the shows first season, Carmy (Vi) takes over Mikeyās (Jinx) restaurant after he commits suicide. Richie (Sevika) is a close family friend, especially towards Mikey, and is affectionately called ācousin.ā Mikey owned the restaurant for sometime, until his passing and left it to Carmy, even though they werenāt on the best of terms.
Then enters Sydney (Caitlyn) interviewing to work at said restaurant, knowing that Carmy (Vi) is a world renowned chef and wants to learn from him.
Itās loud, hectic, chaotic, lotta ups and downs, but there is such a strong love for everyone there, family or not. You just wanna watch them succeed.
Each character I think goes on a beautiful evolution throughout the fives seasons. Iām sure thereās more I should say about the story, but thatās the quick jist of it

DuBois would LOVE ending up in audiobook Graceās depression dome on Erid. Heād stare out into the darkness with a contemplative sparkle on his face, like, all the time, and he tells it like it is so theyād all know how silly it was to make the walls clear but not put any lights outside. He would gravely request that they not put any lights outside. He would know the names of all 30 of the workers keeping his climate controlled, and probably all their familyās names, too. He would absolutely also have a Zen rock garden. Everything would be the same but he wouldnāt be depressed or incurious even at all, heād be having the time of the rest of his life cupped gently between xenonite retaining walls down there in the crushing depths of Erid. And theyād all love him. And heād let them love him!

i think we should start openly mocking male creatives who can't figure out how to write women. like actually i think it's embarrassing that it took elliot page transitioning for christopher nolan to give him a good role. why did it take like ten years to get the first female lead in a marvel movie? why is it a Known Fact that stephen king can't write women? why is 50% of the population omitted from large ensemble works? i asked my friend to name a movie directed by a man with a majority female cast and he said ghostbusters 2016. ghostbusters. ghostbusters. g
