Autistic Scarecrow Headcanons

Scarecrow's favorite fidget toy is a nice clicky pen with a liquid tubing that has little jewels that move as it is tilted different directions

Speaking of toys, while he was a teacher he always allowed fidget toys in the classroom and would even provide them for students who needed it

Some of his stims include leg tapping, chewing nails, scratching his hair, and snapping his fingers

Absolutely hates the "puzzle piece" and autism speaks, actively campaigning against them for better representation

Burlap is his comfort texture

Mostly quiet in meetings and get togethers, prefers a small group of friends and those who engage in his special interests (VHS horror movie collecting)

Other special interests include: novelty chemistry sets, corvids, old halloween decorations and memorabilia, and the theremin

Hroo Hraa and other laughter = vocal stim

Got a nice pair of noise canceling headphones from Edward which he absolutely adores when the sounds of the world are too much

Was made fun of for his "weirdness", but over the years he's learned to accept himself and his mannerisms. What he once hid, he now shows with pride.

Hello, this is my take on Scarecrow from the Absolute universe, at the time im writing this, only his design was unveiled and we haven't actually seen him do anything but im calling it: its gonna be peak horror. Im kinda hoping that the crow pictured will end up being his little buddies and wont die a horrible death.

I could've given him normal teeth, but like, isnt it more fun that way?
