5 Super Junior members go live on Instagram at the same time, throwing fans into a state of chaos

On April 17 at approximately 9PM KST, Super Junior’s Yesung let fans know via his Instagram that he would be doing an Instagram live soon! 

Awaiting the release of Yesung’s 2nd mini album ’Spring Falling’ (set for April 18 at 6PM KST), fans eagerly tuned in to spend time with the idol, assuming he would be promoting his comeback album.

Fans were thrown into a state of chaos, however, when at the promised time, not only Yesung, but a total of 5 Super Junior members began live broadcasts on Instagram, all at the same time!

Yesung, Leeteuk, Heechul, Shindong, and Sungmin all went live, gathered in the same room, speaking through different camera screens. With 5 broadcasts going on at once, of course most Super Junior fans, or E.L.F, didn’t have enough mobile devices to stream them all!

It turns out, 6 of the Super Junior members had gathered to film a CF for ’Lotte Duty Free Shop’, said Leeteuk. While Kyuhyun was present on the scene and could be seen through the other members’ broadcasts, when asked “Why aren’t you doing it, too?”, the maknae answered, “I have no idea what this is,” since he does not have an Instagram account!

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Super Junior and their chaotic, but fun, antics like this, so enjoy it below!

To all my followers who still stick around..

hi babies~ how are y'all? uhh.. I know I havent been on much lately and I dont really have much excuse except that life hasnt been very nice and all. plus, I have been having this strange detachment from Kpop in general and I dont really quite understand it (although I think rl events have something to do with it).

anyways, before anything much more, not that I have too much to say anyway, I want to say thank you to you guys. For being there still. For still sticking around even when you dont really get anything from me nowadays. Maybe some of you just doesnt have time to unfollow inactive blogs or something but still, thanks for still being there..

I honestly dont know when I will be back and be active here on again. but, I dont really plan on stopping blogging, just taking a break from Kpop(?) or kinda. Hah..

I’ve been thinking this through, and duckming has been on for more than 2 years now and I have talked to lots of wonderful people, (most of you I have considered as friends) and so I’ve been thinking whether to open up my other life, y'know, the real life side of my life. Hahaha. I havent been on my best times right now because of all the stress and whatnot going on but I thought it might be time to introduce me as me, because there have been some of you guys who are getting kind of a different impression of me (whether it be good or bad, idk)..

I dont know how many of you, or if any of you would even spare me a chance to truly introduce myself as me. and it also kind of feels like I’m putting things at risk. I dunno tho… maybe its just anxiety.. >

The thing with music is that it comes easy then becomes really hard then comes easy again / sometimes (I) sit there for dozens of days and nothing comes out and other times (I’m) there for only ten minutes and music comes out / hmm (I’ve) been making music for 11years now and it’s still hard haha like life _____

Turns out I started making music since I was 13

During this long journey I think I was able to take time to organize my thoughts on who the person ‘me’ is / although I was able to organize my thoughts on who I am, I’m not going to tell _____

Of my beats, I chose only the aces to work with / I had saved them for Bangtan’s album but well…I think I’ll be able to make better music anyways :) / I’ll be doing music for much longer than I have been so far *laugh* _____

I spent close to half my life making music, you’d think it’d get tiring but while living my 24years there hasn’t been anything else I’ve been as passionate for / since my personality is impatient anytime I started something new it never lasted :) _____

I’ve always wanted to be the best to someone

That’s why I was restless and anxious while comparing myself to others, not being satisfied (with my work), being greedy, thinking, being sad…

Greed which was a weapon sometimes turned into anger

While working on this mixtape, (I) went back to my 13 year old self and saw a memory stuck in the corner of my mind / When I first started making music, rather than someone who is the best at making music, I wanted to make music that would give comfort and emotions to someone. _____

I think this work has been work that brought me comfort

Why does this young guy have so much resentment

The guy of expectations was always so far from me so there were many times when I clenched my jaw* / due to that I was always able to show you beyond expectation

What a relief :) _____

I don’t really like interpreting and explaining songs

Music isn’t the creator’s but the listener’s

That’s why during my album reviews I don’t explain the song or the lyrics but I focus on the process in making the songs / Even if I were to explain, it’s not something that really can be understood / Interpretation is solely on the listener

Chew it out, tear it apart, taste it, enjoy it to your heart’s content _____

While doing this work I felt like I was going back and forth between heaven and hell multiples times a day / Sometimes I’d feel great about something and then get scared about messing it up / sometimes I’d feel ah this is enough and then feel a bit of regret / It felt quite different from what I felt (while doing) Bangtan’s album / I started this while going around on tour and it was crazy but while working on the second half I’m thankful I had some breathing room because the bighit family helped. ____

The register (formality) Suga uses here is very high (it’s very formal) and the grammatical structure is in an older form that is used in serious, religious, etc. situations (example: the Korean Bible is written in this form and prayers are said in this form). The form is difficult to explain in English, but it’s closest to the meaning of “will do ___”. It’s like part prayer, part request, part willing something to happen. It doesn’t have a specific speaker, which makes whatever Suga is saying something that he wishes/wills for everyone and not only himself. (example: “In the end, at the end of adversity, will be in full bloom” Explicit pronoun does not exist, so the sentence contains multiple meanings: “I will be in full bloom,” “You will be in full bloom,” “We will be in full bloom,” etc.))
