Also I find it really funny when people flirt like that it's great. At least, after the initial shock and angst has dulled down. Achilles and Zagreus putting their heads together, trying to take zagreus' current fighting style and sharpening it. Just as Patroclus knows intimately many of Achilles' weak spots, sees them now in the way Zagreus holds himself, so does Achilles know patroclus'. There's a certain pain that comes with revealing it now but the lad deserves to see his mother, and personally, Achilles is amused by the idea of the champion of Elysium getting his ass handed to him (even if the image of Patroclus winning is much more thrilling)

(Zagreus manages to catch Patroclus off guard for just half of a second, not enough to really damage him but enough to land a significant scratch. And Patroclus feels an old thrill come back. He's not doing this for glory, no, time has worn away any desire for that, but a memory still comes unbidden, of him and Achilles, sparring together on Mount Pelion, breathless and wild)

What I'm thinking is given how Theseus and Asterius' story in the hades canon is that Theseus went down into Erebus to retrieve the Asterius to join him in Elysium,,, Zag could help reunite them. In return for his attempts to help Theseus gives the gifts

In reality, it's what a chef said to his waiter after biting off and eating his ear, and revealing that he killed and cooked the waiter's ex. And it's still romantic.
