I feel like we need to do that before the twins are here and yeah, that night was magical but not like the night we gotten together. It helps because of the dimples and you’re going to be the best mom ever.

Thank you honey. Twins are gonna make me huge. How is that even possible? That much room for two babies?! That’s nuts. What if one just stays in there because I’m so tired? I mean I feel fine right now, but that’s only at five months. What about later?
NOTES: They go for another one of Brittany’s regular check-ups, only to find out they’re also having a baby boy! 🍼 They also head out to celebrate afterwards at a drive-in.
Brittany hummed happily as she waited patiently for their doctor to call them in. She was excited to see and hear their baby again. It was a little early for her to be showing but she didn't question it too much. She kissed Finn's cheek with a big smile. Hopefully her stress levels were super low. Cassandra hadn't stopped by again but she consistently sent links to Brittany about stories where mother's didn't regret giving up their babies. She didn't want to worry Finn or have any problems so she simply ignored them. Besides, there was no possible way she'd be giving up their baby. She already loved her so much. When they were called, she walked in with Finn. The doctor did the usual checkup and had Brittany lay down on the bed. "Hi again you two," the doctor greeted with a smile. "How have you guys been feeling for sixteen weeks?" She asked while getting the equipment ready. Brittany held Finns hand and took a deep breath. "Good. Nervous but good." She admitted as the doctor chuckled softly. "Don't be nervous. You're still healthy like before." She let her know and put the gel on her stomach. "So, she should be the size of an avocado by now."
Finn grinned when he felt her kiss his cheek and kissed her cheek as well. They were excited to see the baby again, and knowing that things will be different, for the better. He had hoped that her stress levels were low and normal, since he didnt want to risk anything. He nodded as Brittany spoke, ran a thumb over the back of her hand and placed a kiss against her hand. "Good and really? That's awesome." He replied as he pulled out his app and glanced at the what size the baby should be before he tucked his phone away.
Brittany smiled as she saw how happy Finn was as well. She held his hand and watched the screen as the doctor moved the scanner around. "There she is right here," the doctor said while pointing to the left side of the screen. "She's not alone either. Looks like she's got a brother in there." She said with a chuckle as Brittany widened her eyes. "A..a what?" She whispered as the doctor pointing to two figures. "You guys are having twins." Brittany didn't know whether to cry or smile at how lucky they were. She looked to Finn, afraid of what he might feel now.
Finn grinned as the doctor talked and kept an eye on the monitor. He felt his eyes widen, knowing that he was happy and wanted to cry. "We're having twins baby..." He repeated back as he glanced at her with a smile and kissed her cheek as he felt the tears start to form.
Brittany sighed in relief while she heard him. "Twins." She breathed out and laughed lightly as he kissed her. "But wow, that's like twice the pain.." she said nervously as the doctor printed more pictures. "It's going to be alright. Don't worry." She let her know as Brittany looked to Finn. "Can..what if I can't? What if freak out and the second one is just stuck in there?"
Finn smiled when he heard her and continued to caress the back of her hand with his thumb. "You can do it baby, I promise and I'll be there by your side the entire time." He reassured her and shook his head. "That's not gonna happen, I'm sure our babies would be anxious to meet their parents."
Brittany nodded a little as she heard him and squeezed his hand a bit. With two babies, Cassandra would never approve. She looked back over at the screen, seeing their two babies beside each other. "I agree. You've been healthy and everything looks perfectly fine." The doctor said while turning up a knob. "You guys ready to hear the heartbeats?" She asked as Brittany nodded, tearing up when she thought about how much love she was going to give them. The two heartbeats filled the room, making Brittany smile wide while she wiped under her eyes. She sniffed and fanned her eyes with her other hand. "Wow." She said and let out a deep breath. "I know. Soon it'll be the four of you. Have you guys given any thought as to whether you want to have a small trip or getaway before they arrive? Of course it's not the last time you'll be alone together, but it's a chance to get one last romantic trip in before the third trimester when the belly really grows." She said as Brittany wiped the gel off.
Finn returned the small squeeze until he kissed her hand and nodded when he heard her question. He grinned once again, sniffed and wiped the tears with his free hand. "Um we haven't actually thought about it...Shes safe to fly, right? Or should we stay in the ground?" He helped her with the gel.
Brittany pulled her shirt down and appreciated how Finn always worried. "She's perfectly safe to fly right now." She let them know. "I'd take a comfortable pillow and blanket." She said and wrote things down in their folder. "Alright, I'll make sure to bring back the pictures and then you guys are set."
Finn nodded as he heard her and pulled out his phone, made a note about bringing a comfortable pillow and a blanket. "Thank you and okay." He replied as he watched the doctor leave and glanced over at Brittany. "How are you feeling baby?"
Brittany sat up as she rubbed her thighs. "Nervous..a little scared if I'm doing everything right. I'm still excited and happy and love our babies a ton, but what if I'm not a good mom for two? What if, what Cassie was saying was right?" She ran a hand through her hair.
Finn helped her up and sat back down before he rubbed her lower back as she talked. "Hey...You're going to be a great mom to two beautiful babies and what Cassie was saying isnt true. She's trying to get into your head, and make you think that you won't be a great mom. You're going to be the greatest mom, in the history of famous moms."
Brittany listened to him and took a deep breath. She knew he was right about the Cassie thing. "Thank you." She whispered and pecked his lips lightly. "How do you feel about being the most amazing dad to our babies?" She asked while sitting on his lap, hoping she wasn't heavier yet.
Finn gave her a soft smile and nodded. "You're welcome." He said before he returned the peck. He wrapped an arm around her when she sat on his lap and thought about her question. "I feel a bit nervous because of it."
Brittany cupped his cheek lightly and nodded a little. "The twins or being a dad?" She asked softly. "If it's about being a dad, I already know you're gonna be amazing. I don't think there's anyone better to be my baby daddy." She laughed lightly while pecked his forehead. "But seriously. You're like the kindest and most responsible person out there. There's no one better."
Finn kissed her palm as he looked at her and let out a breath. "Both." He replied softly and listened to her, smiled as she talked. "Thank you baby and good because there's no one better to be my baby momma." He closed his eyes when she pecked his forehead. "Thank you baby."
Brittany smiled wide as she nodded, her lips resting against his forehead for a moment. She ran her fingers through his hair as she glanced down at her stomach. The doctor came back in and smiled as she saw them. "Alright, here are the new photos. You're all set. In the next few days you should expect some more moving around so, get excited for that." She mentioned as Brittany smiled, nodding while she stood up. "Thank you." She said while taking the pictures in hand. She held Finn's hand in the other and walked out with him. She hummed happily, walking out the office and to his truck. "Caan we stop by some place to get ice cream?"
Finn kept his eyes closed when he felt her wide smile against his forehead and rubbed her lower back as she ran her fingers through his hair. He placed a kiss against her stomach before he glanced at the door when he heard it open. He nodded when he heard Brittany, followed her out to the truck and interlaced their fingers together. "Yeah we can but we gotta pick up some real food for you and our babies." He pressed a kiss against her head and smiled against it. "We need another car."
Brittany smiled when he kissed her stomach, loving all the affection she'd get. She leaned her head against his arm and nodded as he mentioned food. "Okayy. How about..cheeseburgers? Or pizza?" She raised an eyebrow, knowing her cravings hadn't gotten too out of control yet. She got in the car and nodded a little. "Yeah. Two would be helpful." She said and bit her bottom lip lightly. "Do you think we can use the money that Kyle gave us for it?" She asked while buckling herself in and used the blanket to get comfortable.
Finn raised an eyebrow when she mentioned both. "We can get both?" He suggested, knowing that he was prepared for the cravings stage and kissed her head. He helped her into the car, gotten into the driver's side and buckled up. "Yeah, it would." He scratched the back of his head and glanced over at her. "Im sure we can use the money." He helped her with the blanket and started the truck.
Brittany smiled shyly as she shook her head. "Noo, I'm gonna explode if I get both." She giggled and leaned her head on his shoulder. "I guess I should get behind the wheel more. But it's much better being the cuddler on this side." She said while looking out the window and choosing the next song.
Finn smiled before he pressed a kiss against her head and rubbed her upper back. "Maybe we can save the pizza for later?" He suggested and listened to her, tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Its up to you baby, because I don't mind driving."
Brittany hummed as she nodded a little. "I'm fine with that. As long as I get pepperoni." She said while blushing lightly. "Okay." She said contently. She relaxed beside him while rubbing her stomach and smiled. "Wow. A boy and a girl. They're gonna be the cutest babies in the whole world."
Finn smiled softly with a nod. "Of course. One pepperoni and one Hawaiian?" He suggested as he rubbed her lower back and kissed her head. "That, they will because they're going to take after their mother." He grinned as he glanced down at her.
Brittany nodded while she heard him and closed her eyes at being comforted. She blushed, smiling while she shook her head. "Both of us." She said and looked up at him. "I love you." She said and pecked his cheek lightly. "Soo, did you wanna, go on a trip? We don't have to. I mean we can do something small." She said and shrugged a little bit.
Finn smiled when he glanced down at her when they stopped a stop light. "I love you too." He felt her pecked his cheek lightly, continued to rub her back and hummed a bit. "Baby, I'd be down for a trip."
Brittany smiled as she heard him and giggled lightly. "Me too. Anywhere in mind?" She asked curiously.
Brittany smiled as she heard him and giggled lightly. "I love you more." She said and hummed. "Id love a trip too. Anywhere in mind?" She asked and wondered when they would tell her grandparents.
Finn chuckled softly as he shook his head. "If you say so beautiful." He replied, rested his hand on her hip. "Awesome and maybe Europe again?" He offered, knowing that he had missed her grandparents.
Brittany blushed as she shook her head. "It's truue." She said while smiling wide. "Yeah? That'd be really fun! They'd be so happy about the babies. And they're old so they'll think young pregnancy is still a normal thing." She said while looking up to see they got to the pizza place. "And you're sure you wanna go, babe?" She asked, not wanting to hog the choices or attention. "We can go somewhere you've always wanted to go too."
Finn kept his grin on his face and nodded as she spoke. "Mhm, sure it is." He teased her and nodded once more. "It would be! They will be, for sure and for sure, besides. Its normal now if you think about it." He pulled into a parking spot and put the truck into park. "Im sure I wanna go baby, it's gonna be awesome and I know, which is why I was thinking that we can go to Canada before we head to Europe? I mean, we haven't been there in a few years."
Brittany got out the car and stretched a bit. "I think they're just gonna be excited to have babies in the family. Too bad they won't be able to see them growing up everyday or even week." She said and followed him into the pizza place. She walked inside and let him order for them. "Canada and Europe sound amazing. How many more days till your finals?" She asked after they paid and sat at a bench to wait.
Finn nodded as she spoke. "We can always take pictures of the babies or Skype with them." He suggested before he paid for their food and sat down next to her. "This week actually."
Brittany smiled as she nodded and hoped they'd be alright with that. She knew it wasn't the same but still. "Yeah? And how are you feeling about them?" She asked, not wanting her or the babies to be a distraction while he's still going to classes.
Finn kissed her head as he leaned against the seat. "Yeah and I feel pretty confident about them, actually. I know the material, I'm passing my classes with a B average and in good shape for graduation."
Brittany smiled softly while she took his hand and gently kissed the back of it. "My genius." She giggled and nodded. "If you need help I'm always here for you honey."
Finn shrugged a bit when she called him a genius. "Im in a relationship with a genius, so I guess its rubbing off of on me." He grinned and nodded as she spoke. "I think I might need help studying on subject."
Brittany blushed as she heard him and giggled softly. "Thank you baby. Yeah? What subject?" She asked curiously and traced a heart on the back of his hand.
Finn dropped his head and leaned into her ear before he glanced to see if anyone was paying attention to them. "You're welcome and I was thinking the human anatomy if you're feeling up to it." He tugged gently on her ear with his lips and started to kiss along her neck.
Brittany bit her lip as she heard him, placing her hand on his knee. "I am. Always." She whispered and let her hand roam up his thigh. "I can't wait for all the catching up we have for each other." She said and lightly grazed her lips against his.
Finn grinned when he heard her and nodded before he nipped at her spot. "Good." He whispered and felt her hand roam up his thigh. "Me either." He felt her lips grazed against his and pecked hers lightly. "I don't think we're gonna leave the bed for a few hours."
Brittany smiled widely when she heard him, her center beginning to throb and knew she was gonna want to pounce on him before they even started eating. "I'm perfectly ok with that." She whispered. "God you're sexy."
Finn grinned when he heard her and nodded, rubbed his nose against hers. "Not as sexy as you." He whispered against her lips before he heard his name being called and stood up after making sure he didnt have boner. He pulled out his wallet, paid for the pizzas and held out his hand to her. "ready baby?"
Brittany leaned in to kiss him but he got up for the pizzas. She blushed and nodded when he asked if she was ready, standing as she took his hand. "Ready." She said while following him outside. When they got to the car, she giggled while kissing along his neck.
Finn chuckled softly as she started to kiss along his neck and made sure that the pizzas were safe. "Do you wanna go and find somewhere to be alone?" He asked as he rubbed her thigh and squeezed it lightly.
Brittany bit her lip lightly and nodded a little. "But we should eat first. Even if I don't want to wait." She husked while kissing up his neck. "Unless we go to that drive in and ya know, not watch the movie."
Finn nodded as he agree. "I agree, we should eat and.." He started to say before he drifted off when she kissed up his neck. "W-we can go to that drive in..I mean, we haven't had sex in a drive-in yet."
Brittany smirked as she nodded and very gently kissed his bottom lip. "Exactly. So let's try something new." She said and took the pizza. She went to the passenger side and buckled herself in before getting comfortable. She pressed her thighs together while taking a slice of pizza and trying not to focus on her throbbing between her thighs. She knew that the following weeks were going to make her want more affection and sex than usual.
Finn "Awesome." He headed towards the drive-in as he adjusted himself in his seat and rubbed his scruff as he took his mind off of the idea of trying something new. Once he arrived, he paid for whatever movie and parked away from everyone else the best he could. He took a slice of pizza once the truck was off and the speaker was in the truck as he ate his slice.
Brittany ate until she was satisfied and leaned back in her seat. She watched the movie for a bit and spread her legs, knowing he'd be watching as she let her hand roam down to her center. Her hand slipped under her bottoms and underwear, feeling how arroused she was and moaned softly.
Finn placed the pizza behind them and wiped his mouth with a napkin before he saw her legs in the corner of his eye. "Let me help you with that beautiful." Finn grinned as he continued to move his hand against her and felt her undoing his pants. He let out a moan when he felt her slid on top of him and placed his hands onto her hips. He moaned out as he placed his hand in her hair and moved his hand with her hand. Brittany smiled wide as she pecked his lips and shook her head. "I'm pretty sure I don't look sexy from down there." She giggled lightly and slipped her clothes back on, relaxing back against her seat. "Perfect date."
Finn grinned and nodded as he returned the peck. "oh, Im sure you do and like I said, Im gonna fuck you into the mattress when we get home." He replied as he helped her with her clothes and brought the seat up before he grabbed the pizza. "Mhm, but we're going to have more of the perfect dates before the babies come."
Brittany bit her lip and smirked as she moaned. "Fuck, baby." She breathed out and couldn't wait for their vacation. "I can't wait! It's gonna be amazing. And romantic. "
Finn smirked when he heard her moan. "Mhm, I know." He replied when she breathed out and chuckled softly as he nodded. "Its going to be more than amazing, mindblowing and romantic."
Brittany smiled as she took his hand and held it, leaning against him as she relaxed again. "I can't wait. And we can get started on the plane too." She commented while watching the rest of the movie, even if she didn't know what the heck was going on.
Finn interlaced their fingers together and pressed a kiss against her head. "That we can for sure." He replied as he gotten comfortable as he looked ahead at the movie and didn't care what was going on in the movie.

Brittany woke up as she snuggled with Finn more, feeling his hand on her stomach that they discovered had the little tiny bump they had been waiting for. She smiled softly and then heard the knock at the door. She sighed while kissing his forehead, slipping on some shorts and his shirt. She went to the door and opened it, seeing Cassandra there. "I wasn't invited to breakfast." Cassie said as Brittany sighed. "We're all still asleep." She murmured while Cassandra raised an eyebrow. "Okay, well, can I come in?" She said while Brittany stepped aside. "I wanted to talk to you about Robert and Marie. I don't know if you made up your mind. But you shouldn't give them a second chance. Think about it, if-" "No, I don't, I can't talk about it with you. I'm gonna talk about it with Finn later. Just..watch some TV and I'm gonna get ready." She said while retreating back to her room. She shut the door and crawled back into bed.
Finn rubbed her side as he snuggled more into her and pulled her closer to him. He groaned when he felt her kiss his forehead as he rolled onto his stomach and let out breath when she left. He covered himself once more, gotten more comfortable and heard the door shut before he felt the bed shift underneath her weight. "Who was that baby?" He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck.
Brittany smiled as she closed her eyes, relaxing in his hold in the meanwhile. "Oh, nobody, really." She said and rubbed his arms gently. "Just, Cassie. No big deal." She said and cringed slightly. "She wanted to talk about my parents but I said that's up to us, not her." She said while snuggling closer to him. "She can go if you still don't want her here, baby. You can decide what's best for the three of us."
Finn rubbed her lower back and opened up an eye to look at her. "Babe." He whispered as she rubbed his arms and swallowed hard when he heard her. "Is that why she's over?" He felt her snuggled close to him and bruised her hair away from her face. "What do you want baby?"
Brittany nodded as she took a deep breath. "Yeah." She whispered back and shrugged, unsure of how she wanted to involve them. "I don't know. They seem genuine. I don't want the baby getting hurt too if I do say yes and they just leave." She explained while rubbing her eyes. "I don't know what to do." She admitted while looking up at him. "What do you think?"
Finn frown slightly when she spoke, nodded as she spoke and agreed. "I agree, I don't want our child to be hurt and feel abandon by their grandparents." He continued to rub her lower back as he chewed on his lower lip. "I think, we need a trail period for them. If they stay around linger than six months, then we'll give them more six months. If they stay around for a year, then we'll give them another year. If they stick around for three years or more, then we can trust that they're around for good."
Brittany took a deep breath and nodded. It seemed fair and like a good idea. "Ok." She said and pecked his lips softly. "I'm sorry this is such a mess." She apologized and patted her stomach twice. "I guess I should start breakfast for everybody." She said and sighed, sitting up while stretching. "You can keep napping until it's ready if you want honey." She said while standing up. Hopefully the stress of handling it all wouldn't be too much.
Finn returned the peck and shook his head at her apology. "Baby, it's okay. It's our mess if it's a mess." He said as he stretched a bit and shook his head once more before he sat up with her. "Nope, I can help you cook breakfast for everyone." He pressed a kiss against her shoulder.
Brittany smiled at him and kissed his lips. "Thank you baby. You're the best." She said while getting up. She walked out and saw Cassie on the couch, contently watching TV. Brittany sighed while heading to the kitchen and began to cook. She kept quiet as much as possible. Casandra approached the kitchen and cleared her throat. "We're keeping the baby, Robert and Marie are still gonna be around, and no I don't want to give up the baby either." Brittany said calmly while making the pancakes.
Finn shrugged a bit with a small smile before he returned the kiss. "You're welcome and nah, I'm not." He replied, gotten up and slipped on his pajama pants before he went to the bathroom. He washed his hands before he headed out of their bedroom and sat down on the stairs when he heard Brittany.
Brittany saw Cassandra take a deep breath. "Brittany. Please, just listen. What if you want to study? Or what if Finn wants to go off and do something like travel or just party? I know you two aren't that young anymore but still." "Stop talking about my fiancé like that. He's going to be an amazing dad and I know Finn. He's not gonna be like that." She answered while her mom raised an eyebrow. "What about before? When we crashed?" She asked as Brittany frowned. "He took care of me. He was by my side the whole time I was getting cured. So stop. I'm not going to change my mind. If you don't care, then I'm sorry but, leave. If even Marie and robert want to make the effort, then I don't know what to say to you."
Finn swallowed as they spoke, rubbed his hands together before he stood back up and slowly made his way downstairs. He leaned against the wall, crossed his arms across his chest and lightly bit down on his bottom lip before he pushed off of it. He walked into the kitchen, cleared his throat some. "How about you go and watch some TV while we make breakfast?" He asked softly, knowing that he didn't want to stress Brittany out even more.
Brittany looked over as Finn came in the kitchen. She shook her head a little and flipped their pancakes. "It's ok, I'm fine," She said softly, believing she could do it and gave Finn permission to call the shots for a reason. Cassandra smirked slightly as she sat down and crossed her legs. "So Finn, why'd you leave football?" She asked curiously.
Finn nodded as he heard her and placed a kiss against her head. "Okay." He replied softly and rolled his eyes before he glanced over at Cassie. "Why does it matter? Honestly. Go and watch TV." He glanced back at Brittany. "Do you want bacon, sausage or ham?"
Brittany lightly kissed his cheek as she heard him. "Bacon please." She said softly. Cassie furrowed her brow and hummed slightly. "It's just interesting how all of a sudden you quit. There must be a reason. Like I don't know, drug testing came around?"
Finn gave her a soft smile. "Of course baby." He said as he walked to the fridge and grabbed the package of bacon before he heard her. "Honestly, stop asking because it's between Brittany and me." He replied as he shut the fridge door and placed the package onto the counter.
Brittany began to make the hashbrown and gulped slightly. "You didn't say no. So, I think that means you don't want to answer because it's true. Tell me Britt, haven't you ever been having one of your 'cuddle sessions' and it smells just a little like Coachella?" She asked while keeping her smirk as Brittany sighed. "Stop! Please." She said and ran a hand through her hair and heard a knock at the door.
Finn rolled his eyes and glanced over at Cassie. "I've been clean and sober for a year now. The reason why I quit football is so I can be there for my family." He said as he approached her and swallowed when he heard Brittany said stop it. "B, get the door, please."
Brittany Cassandra widened her eyes as she heard him. "What? Sober?" She said while Brittanys heart dropped. Kyle hadn't told her and neither had anyone else. Brittany stood there frozen for a moment as she swallowed hard. She went to answer the door and sighed while opening it to see Kyle and her parents. "Hi." She said quietly. She walked back to the kitchen. "Everyone please stay quiet while Carole and Burt are asleep." She said and laid out the plates. "So that's why you weren't around?" Cassie bitterly said to him, but still quiet.
Finn swallowed thickly as he looked at Cassie. "I lost my way, fell into the wrong crowd but that doesn't matter anymore because I'm around my finacé and my unborn child. Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to finish breakfast." He turned around and went back to the bacon.
Brittany served the drinks as well. Cassandra looked around the room after Finn left her and approached Kyle. "You can do, restraining order type of things, right? Like, if you think someone's unfit for a family. Just asking." She said while he furrowed his brow. He glanced to see Finn and cleared his throat. "Cassie, leave them alone. Ok? You know Brittany. And you know Finn. Even if Finn were to leave because of you, think about how she'd handle being a single mom. You know neither of them would give her up. You're distancing yourself from the family." He said quietly. Brittany rubbed her forehead while she walked over to Finn and hugged him, her head resting on his chest. "Honey, are you ok?" Marie asked quietly while glancing between her and Finn.
Finn swallowed as he took a deep breath before he felt Brittany's touch and wrapped his arms around her after he washed his hands. He pressed a kiss against her head, rubbed her back and glanced up at Marie once he heard her voice. Carole walked down in front of Burt to see them and furrowed her brow before she felt Burt's hand on her shoulder. "What's going on?" Carole asked softly as she glanced between her son and future daughter in law.
Brittany felt better as he held her close. She lifted her head when hearing Carole and smiled softly. "Nothing, my tummy just hurts a little." She said and pecked Finns cheek before she walked back to the table. "Breakfast is ready though!" She called out while Cassie and Kyle came back to the table. "Have you guys been thinking of names?" Marie asked.
Finn rubbed her back and kissed her head once more. He swallowed when he heard her and felt her pecked his cheek. He gave his parents a small sad smile before he turned down the stove. "Well, we kinda have one name already if Brittany wants to use that name."
Brittany rubbed her stomach slightly and knew Finn would have been able to help if they were cuddling instead of stressing out at the table. Robert smiled as he heard him. "What is it?" He asked curiously as Cassie texted on her phone instead of eating, or even paying attention to them for that matter. Brittany looked at her sadly and averted her eyes back to her fiance. "Should we keep it as a surprise after you tell me?" She asked, her smile returning.
Finn continued to rub her back and looked at his parents before he glanced at Cassie. He looked down at Brittany slightly and nodded, knowing that she was going to like the name. "Yeah, I think that would be perfect."
Brittany smiled wide as she looked at him. Nothing else mattered but them being parents to the baby they were going to have. "I'm going to warn you two now that I'm probably going to be visiting a ton to see her when she's here." Kyle mentioned while continuing to eat.
Finn interlaced their hands together and placed a kiss against the back of her hand with a grin. Carole nodded in agreement as she chewed her food and saw Burt's head as well. "I second that." Carole said once her mouth was clear.
Brittany giggled as she heard them and shrugged. "That's ok with me. She's gonna be loved tons." She said while finishing up her food.
Finn nodded as he finished. "That's for sure and I wouldn't want it any other way." Finn replied with a smile and took a drink of his water.
Brittany smiled as she took a sip of her water. Cassie got up while she sighed. "I have to go. Food was great. Thanks." She said while pushing in her chair. She walked out, the clicking of her heels being heard through the apartment before she shut the door. Brittany bit the inside of her cheek and glanced to see her plate was full. "I'm sorry, everybody. She seemed fine on the way here yesterday.." Kyle apologized as Brittany shook her head. "No, it's ok. Besides, that was before she knew we were having a baby." She explained while getting up and started to clean up. "Please, don't stress yourself out. Focus on yourself and the baby." Marie said while taking the plates from her.
Finn swallowed what he had drank and placed the cup onto the table. He rubbed Brittany's back as he listened to them and let out a breath once Brittany stood up, which he followed suit as well. "She's right, let's go into the living room and I can hold you, does that sound good?"
Brittany glanced around the table. "But I have to clean," She said softly while looking around and seeing them shake their heads. She smiled, nodding while she looked back up at Finn. "Alright, alright." She said and handed over the plates. Marie helped clean up as Kyle and Robert walked to the living room too. Kyle smiled at Burt and Carole. "I don't think I properly introduced myself. I'm Kyle, Brittany's.." He trailed off, unsure if it was alright for him to call himself her father. "I hope you guys are really proud of Finn. He's a fantastic boy." He said as Brittany smiled, cuddling up to Finn and reached out for her blanket.
Finn smiled when she glanced at him, and led her to the living room. He ran his thumb over the back of her hand, as he heard Kyle introduced himself to his parents. "It's okay, and I'm Caorle and this is my husband, Burt." Carole gave him a warm smile and nodded. "We are, and thank you. It's nice to meet you, Kyle." Finn smiled as he grabbed her blanket and covered them both up. "I love you B."
Brittany looked around the room to see all the parents happily talking with each other. She smiled softly, putting a hand on her stomach as she thought about how lucky their baby was going to be by being surrounded by everyone who loves her. She wondered if Cassie would ever be ok with their decision. But, did it really matter if 5 other parents were incredibly excited to be grandparents? Brittany smiled softly, closing her eyes while resting her head on Finn's chest. "Hun, you should go to bed." Kyle mentioned while Brittany shook her head. "No, no. I'm not sleepy." She yawned a bit as Marie chuckled softly. "Still the same girl who never wants to sleep." She whispered while getting up. "It was nice seeing everyone again." Robert said as his wife agreed. She cleared her throat and walked over to Finn so only he could hear her question. "Did you..did you guys think about it? A second chance?"

NOTES: Finn and Brittany invite all the parents to announce the news that she’s pregnant. There’s mixed emotions between everyone. Once Brittany and Finn are alone at the end of the night, they discover her tiny growing bump.
Brittany was more nervous than she had ever been. Possibly more than when she was finding out if she was pregnant or not. The anxiety from not knowing how tonight was going to go was killing her. She invited all the parents which truly meant ALL the parents. Brittany knew there was no guarantee that Robert and Marie would show up since, well why would they? Still, she was preparing for anything. Six parents who would have drastically different opinions about their pregnancy terrified her. Not only that, she had to cook to. Not such a huge deal but there was still pressure. She set the table neatly as possible. Combining two for eight people made it look fancier which was what she needed. She organized the plates and silverware on top of the cloth, letting out a shaky breath while checking the time. It was five minutes to six o'clock. "Baby? Are you all set?" She called out, checking herself in the mirror. She had a simple outfit which was just nice leggings and a not too tight fitting shirt. Just loose enough to hide any kind of bump she might not see herself. "I um, I know we aren't really prepared for anyone to stay over but I have the other rooms set up just in case. The couch is pretty comfy too." She explained while checking on the food and turned the stove off.
Finn nodded as he fixed his shirt. "Yeah, I'm all set." He called out as he headed out towards her and started to rub her back. "That's fine baby, take a deep, calming breath and let it out. Everything will go smoothly and things will be okay." He pressed a kiss against her head, knowing why she was nervous.
Brittany nodded as she did as he said, taking a slow deep breath before letting it out. "Okay." She said while relaxing as he rubbed her back and kissed her head. "How are you feeling?" She asked while rubbing his arms and held his hands. The door rang and she gasped slightly, knowing it was going to be Carole and Burt.
Finn smiled softly as he shrugged a bit and interlaced their hands together. "Im feeling okay, nervous." He answered as kissed the back of her hands. He raised an eyebrow, knowing that it was his parents and glanced at her. "Things will be okay, I promise."
Brittany nodded as she took just a second to enjoy his affection longer. She smiled softly while pecking his lips. "Okay." She whispered while heading to the door with him. She opened it with a big smile, welcoming them inside. "Hi! Welcome, the table is all set up if you want to sit or settle in." She shut the door behind them.
Finn returned the soft smile and returned the peck. He gave them a big smile as well, hugged his mom and dad before he grabbed their bags. "Thank you, you guys." Carole said before she faced Brittany with a smile.
Brittany 's heart beat against her chest. She looked at Carole's eyes and gulped before she hugged her. "It's nice to see you guys again." She said while pulling away. She lead them to the table and checked on the food. She heard the door again and let out a shaky breath. "Coming," she said and head to the door. She put her hand on the knob and turned it, opening the door to reveal Cassandra and Kyle. She smiled while hugging them as well and letting them inside. "We've missed you." Cassie told them while she smoothed down her curls.
Finn Carole smiled softly as she nodded. "Its nice see you again, Britt." She replied and watched her before she glanced at her son and husband. She followed her to the table, placed a hand on her husband's shoulder and gave it a squeeze before she hugged her son. Finn looked behind him to see Brittany went and got the door. "Is Brittany okay?" Burt asked as Finn glanced at them. "She's, just nervous."
Brittany smiled softly at Cassie and nodded. "We missed you guys too." She said and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Um, anyway. Let's go ahead and eat. The pasta and salad is ready," She said and walked with everyone to the kitchen. She served everyone some pasta and set the big bowl of salad in the middle. Tending to everyone's needs distracted her. Cassandra hummed while smelling the food. "Hon', this looks amazing. You guys didn't have to go all out like this." She told them before eating her food. "So, how's everything going away from Lima?" Her dad asked them both. Brittany sat beside Finn and took a sip of her water.
Finn glanced over at Brittany as she served everyone some past and thanked her before he started to dish everyone up. "We know, but we wanted to make you guys a great dinner." He pipped up as he took a bite out of his food and hoped that everything will go smoothly once they tell them the news. "Everything's good, I quit the football team but I found out a way to still go to school and be secured." Finn said as he watched his mom's reaction. "Finn..." Finn shrugged a bit before he looked over at Brittany and rubbed her back. "They're looking at new Quartebacks anyways so.."
Brittany stayed quiet as she watched his mom react. Now she's going to think it's all her fault. That she ruined her son's chances of being a football player or gave him a harder time to graduate. "As long as you're still attending, that's good. The account has plenty of funds for anything you need." Kyle mentioned to them. Brittany took a deep breath and figured she should wait. She glanced at everyone's plates to see if they were almost finished. Just then, Robert and Marie knocked and came inside with smiles. "Helloo!" Marie announced as Brittany let out a shaky breath. "Wow, everyone's here." She said and took a seat with her husband. "Hi..um, how have you guys been?" Brittany asked, unsure of how to interact with them anymore. Obviously they needed to know..right? They had the right to at least get updates. Or maybe not, but still. It was the right thing to do. Cassie stabbed a crouton with her fork as they sat down and ate it. "Good, but let's talk about you guys. What's new?"
Finn Burt rubbed Carole's back as he looked at the young couple and placed a kiss against his wife's head. "Im sure Finn has a good reason for quitting the team, like Brittany's dad said here. The account has plenty of funds for anything that they need." Carole nodded as she took a sip of her water, swallowed it and placed it onto the table. "You're right, thank you, Kyle. As along you're still attending your classes, then you need to do what you need to do and Im happy for you guys." She gave them a smile and watched Finn returned a small smile before he kissed Brittany's head when he heard Marie's voice. "If you need to get some fresh air, let me know okay?" He whispered. Carole swallowed hard as Cassie stabbed a crouton and squeezed Burt's hand.
Brittany heard Finn as she nodded a little. She very gently pecked his cheek, feeling light headed while gathering her thoughts. She looked into his eyes and cleared her throat. She looked around and took a deep breath. "I don't know how everybody feels about each other here. I don't know if it'll ever be peaceful and stuff. Before anyone says anything to irritate someone else, I wanna say some stuff if that's ok with you," She looked at them and then at Finn. "And you."
Finn swallowed as he nodded when he looked at her and knew that his parents nodded. "Go ahead baby."
Brittany nodded as she took his hand under the table. She held it, giving it a firm squeeze as she looked down at her own untouched plate. "Mom, dad.. I'm not sure how I feel about you guys being here. Obviously you're always welcome because well, you raised me..kind of. But I wanted you to be here when Finn and I told you guys something. It was the right thing to do." She took a pause and looked over at Cassie and Kyle. "I'm really happy I found you guys. I'm happy to know that even if we lost time together, we're making up that time." She mentioned, Cassandra frowning, having a bad feeling about all the nice comments. "Carole, Burt..I love you guys. A ton. Thank you for everything you've done for me. When I felt alone or like I had no family, you guys always let me in your house with open arms and trusted me." She gave his hand another squeeze. "Um, anyway. Moving on. We wanted to tell all of you that we hope you have just enough love for another family member." She said, her heart racing. "We're having a baby."
Finn interlaced their hands together and returned the squeeze, only gentler. He watched the reactions, and returned the other squeeze. He looked at his mom's reaction as she covered up her mouth and knew that she was happy along with Burt. "W-we're having a grandbaby?" Carole asked and saw Finn nod his head. "Burt, we're having a grandbaby." Burt nodded as he rubbed his wife's back. "I know baby, we're going to be grandparents...."
Brittany looked to see Carole and Burt react happily, having her relax as she smiled at them. "You're having a baby?!" Cassandra asked in a bit of a negative tone but her smile contradicted that. "Y-Yeah," She said while Cassie kept her smile. Kyle cleared his throat as he smile at them both. "Congratulations," He said while Brittany couldn't help but look at her parents. They simply grinned, giving a nod as they glanced down at her stomach. "Do you know the gender?" Marie asked in a gentle voice. It wasn't what Brittany expected at all. "Yeah," She said and looked at Finn so he could reveal it.
Finn swallowed when he heard Cassie's tone, chewed on his lower lip and nodded. "Yeah." He breathed out and looked at Kyle before he glanced down at Robert and Marie. He raised an eyebrow when he heard Marie's question and smiled when he looked at Brittany. "A beautiful baby girl." He kissed Brittany's cheek as he saw his mom leaned over when he saw his dad whisper in her ear.
Brittany smiled as he announced the gender. "Wow. She's gonna be beautiful." Robert said while eating his food. Brittany glanced to see Carole and Burt whisper. She swallowed hard and took a sip of her water. "That's..amazing, Britt. And..you guys have a plan?" Cassandra asked.
Finn "Like her mother." Finn replied as he stared at her and saw smiles on his parents face once they were done talking. He glanced over at Cassie, lightly bit down on his bottom lip. "Yeah, we have a plan." He started to caress the back of her hand once more with his thumb.
Brittany blushed as she looked back at Finn. She pecked his lips lightly and relaxed as he held her hand. "I can get a job to raise money and-" "No," Kyle interrupted. "The account has plenty of money. If you need more, let me know. Like I said, it's there for whatever you guys need." He let them know. Brittany nodded a little and looked over at Cassie. "I meant a plan as in, keeping her, giving her away?" She asked as Brittany furrowed her brow a little. "Keeping her."
Finn returned the peck and glanced at Kyle as he swallowed her. "Thank you, really." He looked at Cassie as she spoke, nodded in agreement with Brittany. "We're going to change the spare bedroom into a nursery until we can find another place to live." He saw his parents gave them supporting smiles, let out a breath before he took a drink of his water.
Brittany leaned her head on his shoulder. "And you guys can stay in the other spare." She said to everyone since she wasn't sure if anyone was staying the night. Cassandra nodded slightly and smile a bit. Her reaction confused her but she didn't want to dwell on it. "We're at twelve weeks right now." She said and held his hand. "That's amazing, Brittany." Marie told her and took a deep breath. "It's, great to see you guys still doing alright."
Finn wrapped an arm around her shoulders and nodded. "Yeah," He replied as he started to rub her arm in a comforting way. He nodded once more. "And we have a picture of the sonogram too." He heard Marie's words and swallowed at the comment.
Brittany hugged him tight for a second before getting up. She walked to the bedroom and got the pictures, coming back as she handed them to Carole first. She sat back down and swallowed as she heard Marie. "Thanks." She said and watched as Kyle smiled wide when the pictures got to him. "I can't wait to see her." He said and chuckled softly. "We're going to have to celebrate soon." He said as Cassandra looked over his shoulder. Instead of taking it into her possession, she handed it off to Robert when she got it. The action pained Brittany, making her wince slightly at how she just passed off the picture. Her other parents smiled wide at the picture, joyously looking at it. "Well, I guess we can tell you our news now. We know we always traveled but now, we have enough money to settle down. I know it's not fair to you. But it seems to be perfect timing now that you guys are having a baby. Lima's close by and we want to help. Does a second chance sound ok?" Marie asked while she handed the photo back to Finn. Cassandra scoffed lightly while Brittany looked up at Finn, not knowing what to say.
Finn returned the tight hug and placed a kiss against her head before she gotten up. He looked at the guests with a soft smile, took another sip of his water and swallowed it. Finn smiled when he heard Kyle, nodded in agreement with the statement and knew that the little girl has them around her finger already. "Sounds good to me." He agreed, and felt his smile shifted into a confusing look when she passed off. He glanced over at Brittany, rubbed her back and let out a breath as he saw the other parents smiled widely at the picture. He thanked Marie as he heard her and heard Cassie's light scoff, and looked at Brittany as he chewed on his bottom lip. "Can you excuse us while we talk this out?"
Brittany bit her lip as she glanced back at them. "Yeah, we'll think about it but um, maybe not now. Let's just finish dinner." She said gently and took a deep breath. "I'm gonna be right back super quick," She said, feeling sick as she got up. She left the table and headed to their room, shutting her door before sitting on the edge of the bed. She needed a breather. Why had Cassie passed off the picture like that? What did Carole and Burt whisper about? Why was Marie asking to be a part of their lives now? She rubbed her head and paced the room a bit. If everyone was going to stay over, it was going to be a long night.
Finn nodded as he agreed then watched her get up and at stood up shortly after she left. "I'll go and check on her before I send you up." Carole said as she stood up and headed towards their bedroom. Once she reached their bedroom, Carole knocked on the door and leaned against the door. "May I come in?"
Brittany heard the door as she sniffed and got up. "Yeah, come in." She told her and was glad they had cleaned up the whole apartment along with the room. She smiled softly at her and cleared her throat. "I was just coming out. I just felt nauseous."
Carole opened up the door some more and entered their room. "Aw honey." She replied when she heard her sniffs and gave her a small smile. "I can grab a few crackers if you want?"
Brittany shook her head a little and smiled softly as she gestured towards their nightstand. "Finn has some in our drawer. Emergency crackers." She said and felt the need to apologize. "I'm sorry."
Carole raised an eyebrow before she smiled softly as she nodded. "Okay." She said and furrowed her brow slightly at the apology. "For what honey?"
Brittany took in a breath and wiped under her eyes. "For..our baby, I guess." She whispered while looking away from her.
Finn frowned before she opened up her arms for her. "Brittany, dear..." She started to say softly.
Brittany hugged her immediately. "I'm sorry..I don't..want you to not like me because of the baby. I'm sorry." She said and rubbed her eyes a little.
Finn Carole returned the hug, rubbed her back and shook her head as she spoke. "Honey, I like you because of who you are. Im excited and happy that you guys are going to have a daughter. No need to apologize. What's going on to make you think like this?"" She reassured her as she smoothed down her hair and placed a gentle kiss against her head.
Brittany hugged her back, enjoying the comfort that she wish she had gotten from the others. "I'm scared. I'm scared that Finn's gonna get sick of being here with me, that he's gonna miss football and regret staying in the apartment with me. I'm scared that my parents won't support me at all. I guess, I'm just most scared of not doing a good job as a mom." She said, relaxing as she swallowed hard. Back at the table, Kyle looked at the picture again and smiled. "She's gonna be the best." He commented and slyly slipped it into his wallet, looking in innocent as he looked back at the table. "You shouldn't be here." Cassandra said in a low whisper to Marie. "We were invited."
Finn Carole shook her head as she heard Brittany and kept her close to her. "Honey.....Finn's not going to get sick of being here with you, he's not going to miss football and regretting this. Well, if they dont support you then you can count on me and Burt to support you. Im going to tell you something, I was in the same boat when I was pregnant with Finn. You're going to do a great job of being a mom." She rubbed her back some more. Finn glanced at the clock, knowing that they had been up there for a while as he saw Kyle slipped it into his wallet. "How about we get along before we start something? Please."
Brittany sniffed while she heard her and nodded a bit. She smiled softly as she slowly pulled away a bit and wiped under her eyes. "Thank you. So much, really. I love you and you know you're always welcome. Are you guys staying tonight?" She asked. Cassandra rolled her eyes. "I'm just saying that someone can't just show up to where they're not welcome." She shrugged while Kyle sighed. "Why don't we all get along just for now? We shouldn't stress Brittany or Finn out right now." He said as Marie nodded. "We want to fix things." She said as Cassandra laughed. "No, I don't want my daughter's baby to be around you."
Finn "You're welcome Brittany, I love you too and I really love that, honestly. That we are, actually. We want to do something for you and Finn." Finn raised an eyebrow as they talked and stood up when he heard Cassandra said that she doesnt want Brittany's baby to be around Marie. "Alright, as the father of this child. I have the say of whom my child is around. Not you." He looked at Cassandra. "When, you looked not so interested in seeing the sonogram when we presented it to you. Kyle is right. You guys shouldnt stress either of us out right now." Burt cleared his throat. "How about we give Robert and Marie another shot? They are here now and I think its right for them to have a second chance." Finn nodded as he looked at his step dad. "To let you guys know, my MOTHER is up there right now, comforting your guys' daughter and yet you guys don't care at all." He placed his fork onto his plate. "So, excuse me while I go and check on her. Burt, hold down the fort." He headed upstairs and slowed down a bit to let out a breath, knowing that this was going out of control. He started walking up again until he heard Brittany and his mom talking.
Brittany smiled as she heard her. "Really? You totally don't have to." She took in a deep breath and let it out. "Thank you though. I promise we'll send you guys updates on all baby things." She let her know. "I'm guessing we should go save Finn?" She suggested, thankful that he was enduring time with them. Marie and Robert were grateful for Burt's words. They looked over at Cassie who rolled her eyes again. "I don't understand why you're so upset." Marie mumbled before cleaning up the table.
Finn Carole nodded as she reassured her. "I'm sure and I know, but still." She rubbed her back some more. "You're welcome, and you better or I might have to convince Burt to move out here." She teased gently and let out a breath. "Yeah, or we might have to pick up the chairs.." She gave her a small smile and gotten up. Burt looked at the two ladies and let out a sigh loud enough to let Finn hear. Finn rolled his eyes, gotten up and headed into the dining room. "Do you guys not care about your daughter?!"
Brittany furrowed her brow a bit as she thought she heard Finn. She lead them out and headed back to the kitchen. "We didn't know she was upset. She said she felt sick earlier. Do you not know what morning sickness is?" Cassandra said while she got up. "Do you not care about yours?" She asked while crossing her arms. "Cassandra, that's enough." Kyle said as he put his hand on her arm. Brittany walked in as she walked to Finn's side, holding his hand tight while staying close.
Finn "Maybe because you seemed like you didn't care about the fact that we're having a baby then telling Marie that shes not allowed around Brittany's and I's daughter. When we're the parents. Another thing, I do know what morning sickness is, and she's upset because none of her parents are getting along." He grimace a bit when he heard her question. "I do care about mine, I would do anything to protect her and her mother." He felt Brittany holding his hand. "Now, save the drama between you and Robert and Marie for outside of this home. I do not want the love of my life, stressing out or upset because her mother and parents don't know how to get along because of what happened years ago and a few years ago. I suggest you straight out your shit, and act like a parent or get out my house." Carole looked between Burt and Robert, Marie, Kyle and Cassandra.
Brittany listened to Finn as she stayed beside him. She rubbed his arm gently, wincing slightly when Cassandra asked if he cared about their baby. Of course he did. Her temper had a habit of not holding anything back though. "You guys are welcome to stay, but only if you listen to what Finn said." She said softly. Everyone stood still for a moment before Marie took a deep breath. "We can find a hotel." Marie said while Cassandra bit her tongue, narrowing her eyes as she looked at her. "Are you sure?" Brittany whispered, seeing her mother tired while she nodded. "Yes, we'll come back tomorrow morning if that's ok." She said and dried her hands before picking up her bag. "Yeah..that's ok."
Finn nodded in agreement with Brittany. "Yeah, its okay." He added as he looked at Cassandra. "Im going to go and cool down outside." He kissed Brittany's forehead before he headed outside and sniffed as he passed Kyle and Cassandra. "I'll help clean up." Carole replied as she grabbed the rest of the dishes and saw Burt helped her.
Brittany frowned as he left her and glanced back at Carole. "Thank you." She said before hugging herself. She walked outside once they left too and looked for him. When she spotted him, she rubbed her arms and bit her lip lightly. "I'm sorry."
Finn Carole nodded with a soft smile. "You're welcome." She replied as she watched Brittany hugged herself and headed into the kitchen. Finn glanced over at her when he heard her apologize, shook his head with a small smile. "Baby, its not your fault so don't apologize." He held out his hand to her.
Brittany looked at his hand as she held out hers to grab it too. She kissed his cheek lightly, taking in a deep breath. "Please don't listen to them. Especially Cassie. I don't know why she's so mad." She cupped his cheeks and pecked his lips over and over. "You know you're going to be such a good dad, right? You know that?"
Finn instantly wrapping his arms around her and kissed her palm. "I wont, I promise and I have no idea either." He replied, kissed her other palm and rubbed her lower back before he returned the pecks. "Yeah, I know that but hearing that I don't care about my daughter was a slap to the face."
Brittany frowned deeply as she heard him. "Which so isn't true. Everyone in that room besides her knows you do." She rested her forehead against his. "I thought she'd be understanding and fine but, I guess not." She was so mad at Cassie for saying that. Of course they cared. "I love you."
Finn felt her forehead against his and looked into her eyes. "I know." He replied softly, brushed her hair back and nodded as she talked. "Yeah, you'd think so but." He shrugged slightly and cupped her cheeks. "And I love you."
Brittany didn't know what to do about Cassie. Kyle was the most excited and he was welcomed right now, but she didn't want her to stay if she was only going to insult their growing family. "I can tell her to leave if you want. That way we can both relax a little more."
Finn rubbed her back as he looked at her and chewed on the inner part of his cheek. "If you want her to leave baby, then she can leave."
Brittany traced his jawline as she looked at him. "It's not just what I want." She let him know.
Finn nodded when he heard her and pecked her lips. "I know and I think not having Cassie here might be a good idea right now."
Brittany nodded as she heard him. "Come on," she whispered while tugging at his hands. She lead them inside and looked around to see Cassie and Kyle on the other side of the room. "Um, Carole and Burt are staying over. I think for tonight you guys should not be here. You can come tomorrow morning." She told them, her heart beating against her chest. Cassandra chuckled coldly while shaking her head. "If I'm not wanted here, I won't be here tomorrow. Goodnight." She said before storming out, slamming the door behind her. Kyle swallowed hard while approaching Brittany and Finn. "I'm sorry. Congratulations, alright? I'll stop by tomorrow." He said while wanting to hug her and shake Finn's hand but decided it best not to. He walked out and shut the door behind him. "The first guest room is on the right down our hall, you guys can go ahead and settle in there." Brittany said softly.
Finn interlaced their fingers together as they walked back inside and kissed her head. He rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb, before he rubbed her back and looked at Kyle, feeling bad and nodded before he glanced down at Brittany before he glanced at his parents. "Thank you and We love you guys, so much." Burt said before he gave them both a hug.
Brittany hugged him back with a smile. She separated while she kissed the back of Finn's hand. "I love you too. If you guys need anything let me know." She said to them before heading to their room. She closed the door and got undressed, slipping off her shirt and did a double take in the mirror. She faced sideways toward it and smiled. "Baby?"
Burt returned the hug before Carole could hug her and gave them a smile. "Of course. Night." They said as they headed up the stairs and Finn glanced over at Brittany. He followed her to their room, took off his shirt and started to get undressed. He raised an eyebrow as he glanced towards her with a smile. "Yeah baby?"
Brittany waved him over so he could stand behind her. She took his hands and placed them on her stomach, the tiniest bump being held. "I didn't know I'd be showing a little already." She said while looking up at him. She smiled while leaning back against him.
Finn smiled when he felt the tiny bump and kissed her head. "I didn’t know either." He replied as he glanced down at her and smiled as he looked ahead at them in the mirror.
Brittany giggled lightly and nodded. "That's her." She said and kissed his chin as she turned around. "Ok, time for bed." She said and put on her pajama shorts. She laid down and got comfortable, snuggling with him once he joined her.
Finn nodded. "It is her and she's wonderful already." He replied as he smiled when he felt her kiss on his chin. He slipped into bed once he was wearing pajamas and wrapped an arm around her as she snuggled with him. "I love you."
Brittany smiled while she cuddled with him and relaxed in his hold. "I love you too." She replied. She rested her head on his chest while closing her eyes, tracing a circle on his back as she started to fall asleep.
Finn rubbed her back and smiled when he heard her. "I love you most." He replied as he placed a kiss against her head and closed his eyes as he started to draw a circle on her back as well.
Brittany shook her head as she yawned a bit. She soon fell asleep while he drew circles on her back. The soothing feeling made her relax while she kept close.

NOTES: It’s confirmed with the doctor that Brittany is two months pregnant with Finn’s baby. They can’t help discuss Finn’s scheduling, but Finn is still worrying about when the right time is to propose.
Brittany sat nervously on the bed. She didn't want to lay down yet since she was too busy thinking about her possible pregnancy. When Finn said that they already sort of knew with Duke's behavior, she was excited but still wanted to make sure. She looked to her side as Finn sat in the chair and remembered the first time they were here. The worry, with excitement because they were set on doing it. Along with the disappointment that followed soon after they had taken their time on researching and preparing. The box sat somewhere in the apartment and she wasn't going to get ahead of herself by asking him to find it. Still, all the books she had obsessed over were in there. If they were having a baby, she needed to know anything and everything about being a mother. Maybe she wasn't good at much, but this she needed to excel at. The doctor entered with a smile as she looked at both of them. "Good morning you two," she said and had papers in hand. "The nurse has gotten your sample, and I have the results right here. I see you guys are not married but together?" She questioned while sitting at the computer and scanned some information. Why wasn't she telling them the results yet? The huge question here was if she was pregnant and so far this doctor was being no help.
Finn caressed the back of her hand while he tried to keep his nerves at bay and knew that Brittany was nervous. Ever since they had already sort of knew because of Duke, he was beyond excited but knew better than get his hopes up. There was a bunch of excitement, worry and different emotions going on all at once. He didn’t want to think about the time when they were disappointed, when they had their hopes up. It was a sensitive subject, maybe this time was meant to be. He wondered where the box was at, but he made a mental note about finding it when they gotten back. If they were having a baby, then he would have to put apps in and think about his college football career. He gave the doctor a smile as he continued to rub the back of her hand with his thumb. “Good morning.” He said, as he looked at the papers and nodded at the question. “Yeah,” He breathed out, feeling the weight of the ring in his pocket still. He was wondering why she was asking these questions instead of telling them.
Brittany was thankful for Finn as he held her hand. "How long have you guys been together?" The doctor asked while Brittany smiled softly, looking at her boyfriend and glanced at her promise ring. "About three years." She replied as the doctor smiled sweetly at them. "Good for you guys." She said and looked over Brittany's information on the screen. "Brittany, you're looking very healthy. No problems here nor there." She let her know and set a folder aside that was shut. It was a light purple color that clearly had various papers that Brittany guessed was for them. Her heart jumped a little but tried to wait patiently. "Congratulations! You guys have a little one on the way. That explains your worries of morning sickness and apparent fatigue." The doctor explained, Brittany not realizing how big her smile was and how her eyes watered. It was true. They were having a baby. Brittany Susan Pierce herself was going to have Finn Hudson's baby. "Oh..my gosh," She breathed out and sniffed, looking over to meet Finn's eyes. The news made her want to burst into tears but yet tell everyone she knew that she was going to be a mom. "We're having a baby." She said aloud for the first time.
Finn returned the smile when she looked at him and glanced at her promise ring as well. “Thank you.” He replied as he kissed Brittany’s cheek. He glanced over at the nurse while she looked at the screen and nodded as she talked about how healthy she’s looking and watched as she placed the folder to the side. He licked his lips as he waited for the news and felt a wave of relief washed over him and couldn’t stop the grin that was threatening to spread across his lips at the news. He felt the tears start to well-up, knowing that he didn’t care if he was going to cry in front of the doctor. “Oh my god…” He sniffed as he looked at Brittany and met her eyes. He nodded with a smile as he let out a soft chuckle and cupped her cheeks. “Yeah, we’re having a baby, baby…No more disappointments..” He agreed as he wiped her cheeks and blinked away his own tears before he captured her lips in a soft kiss. “We’re having a baby… Oh my god! We’re having a baby.” He said with more excitement
Brittany laughed happily as he was ecstatic about the news. She kissed him back, full of love and wonder for the next few months. It was true, they'd be having a baby and having a whole new life to tend to. The thoughts of him juggling parenthood with his classes and football started to begin but she couldn't worry about that right now. "I know," She said with a wide smile. "I'm so happy." She confessed and leaned her head against his chest. "I'm thankful you two are. Now, of course you need to continue taking care of yourself. The daddy too. Finn, if you need to come in for check-ups, that's normal considering the journey can be stressful for some people. This folder has options which I'm assuming you won't be looking at but still, just in case, they're in there. You're close to eight so it's a risky period to be in. I need to let you know that there's an increased chance of miscarriage until you hit twelve weeks. Take it easy and make sure to eat plenty of fruit during this time." She let them know while Brittany pout a bit, shaking her head to get rid of that thought. "Did you two want to take home a sonogram today?" The doctor asked with a smile. "We can always schedule it for another day, take your time."
Finn smiled against her lips as he returned the kiss and nodded as he wrapped his arms around her when she leaned her head against his chest. "Im so happy too." He confessed too. He rubbed her back as the nurse spoke, nodded slightly. "Okay, thank you." He made a mental note of making an appointment when classes started again. "Is there anything we can do to keep that number down besides taking it easy and eating plenty of fruit?" He glanced down at Brittany. "What do you say baby?"
Brittany happily rested against the front of his body as he rubbed her back. She took a deep breath while holding on to Finn. "Walks are nice to do or swimming. The park nearby has an indoor pool," She said and wondered if they'd be able to use the one at his college since that sounded better than walking in circles. "Take plenty of vitamins. Vitafusion is the popular brand that works perfectly well. You can pick it up at any grocery store." She let them know while Brittany nodded. The girl looked up at him, smiling as she nodded. "I want to." She said as the doctor walked to the materials and turned on the machine. "Alright, lay down, lift your shirt and we'll put the gel on. I'll have pictures for you to take home." Brittany bit her bottom lip lightly and looked over at Finn, her smile not leaving her face. It was already so exciting. Their first look at their child. She held his hand and lifted her shirt, lowering her pants only slightly. The doctor spread the gel across her lower stomach, making her giggle at how cold it was. She watched as she moved the scanner around, her eyes close on the screen to spot them. Brittany looked up as well while her heart beat quickly. "There they are." The doctor said softly, pointing to a small bean like shape on the screen. "That's your baby."
Finn placed a kiss against her head as she rested against the front of his body. He nodded as she spoke, making another mental note about checking out the pool at the University. “Awesome,” He pulled out his phone, jotting down everything she was saying and grinned as he glanced down at his girlfriend. “Okay, sounds good to me.” He pocketed his phone as he kept the smile plastered on his face and sat down next to the bed. He scooted the chair closer to the bed, gotten comfortable and interlaced their fingers as he held her hand. He watched as the nurse spread the gel across her lower stomach, smiled when he heard her giggle. He glanced up as well and smiled as he felt tears started to well up again. “That’s our baby.” He repeated.
Brittany looked at the screen while she had a firm hold on Finn's hand. She wiped under her eyes with her other hand, smiling as she looked back over at Finn. She kissed his cheek softly before looking back at the doctor. "At 12 weeks, we'll hear a heartbeat." The doctor said to them, getting the pictures as well. Brittany looked at the screen while not being able to believe it. She was going to be responsible for a whole other life now. She took a deep breath again nodded. "O-Ok. Is it okay if we have a lot of copies? It's a..big family." She said quietly while the doctor stopped scanning and nodded. The paper towels were handed over to her and she gently wiped the gel off. "Of course. It's a very emotional time, I know. Nothing pleases me more than to see both parents so happy like you two. I'm not too worried about the baby." She said and walked out for a moment into the hall. Brittany adjusted herself and sighed, smiling big as she sat up. "Our baby." She whispered to him. The doctor returned with multiple copies in an envelope. "You two are all set. Again, congratulations and the things I recommended to take care of yourselves are included in the folder. Any questions, my number to reach me is on there." Brittany held Finn's hand as she hopped off and nodded to the woman. "Thank you so much." She told her and could feel her body lighter while a strange type of adrenaline ran through here. It was a nice feeling though, one that she wanted to remember forever. They walked out the room while she wiped her eyes once more. "I love you." She said as they made their way to the elevator for the parking garages.
Finn smiled wide when he looked at her and pecked her lips after she pecked his cheek. He glanced at the doctor before he glanced at the screen, knowing that he had to get rid of football. He was glad that he turned his whole life around, nodded as she spoke, wiped his eyes off with his sleeve and let out a shaky breath. "T-T hank you." He said and glanced at Brittany. "Yeah, our baby." He repeated back to her and helped her with her clothes. He stood up gently, helped her off and nodded. "Yes, thank you so much." He grabbed the folders. He was beyond on happy, knew that he was going to take good care and pressed a kiss against her head. "I love you too."
Brittany wanted to bring up how this would change his class and sports schedule but she wanted to not get into an argument. Especially right now after they were overwhelmed with the delightful news. She smiled as he kissed her head and leaned her head against his arm while holding his hand. She wanted to wait, but at the same time didn't want to in case there were any surprises. When they got in the elevator, she took a deep breath while smiling warmly at him. "I know we should..relax and enjoy this moment but first, I need you to promise me that you're not going to do anything crazy like give up football or any classes." She brought up while watching the numbers go down for each floor.
Finn swallowed some as he glanced down at her. "Baby...I'm gonna get a job. I gotta get a job. So giving up football is one of the things that I'm going to give up." He said as he watched as the numbers went down.
Brittany frowned deeply as she shook her head. "Honey. No, you can't. I don't want you to get a job, I'll get a job. Football is what's paying your tuition bills this year." She let him know while zipping up her jacket and scarf. "You're not..giving up football." She shook her head while sighing a bit. "I'm incredibly happy for us. I know that you're worried, but I've got it. You have to promise me."
Finn shook his head as he let out a breath and glanced down at his feet. "No, you can't get a job B...You need to rest..I have a bunch of scholarships or even just, quit going to school which is fine with me because I would rather be working, making money that we need than you working and putting yourself in danger." He glanced at her as she zipped up her jacket and scarf. "Im incredibly happy too and I am worried, Im a natural worrier...How do you got it B? You're almost at risk for putting yours and our baby's life at danger..I cant lose the both of you."
Brittany 's bottom lip quivered as she shook her head again. "I'll be fun. I'm not gonna be stressed or anything. Quit school? No, no way." She said while not wanting to accept his choice. "You won't lose us, babe. You won't. What about when Anna is 15 and we all wanna take a trip? Won't the money from after college help us out more?" She asked while the elevator door opened. She stepped out with him and stayed close as they walked to his truck. "Fine, I won't work but you can't get a job or quit anything."
Finn looked at her and cupped her face gently. "Baby..." He started to say, before she continued to talk and chewed on his lip and couldnt stop the smile from spreading across his lips. "It might, but baby.." He followed her to the truck and looked down at her as they continued to walk to his truck. "What if I get some kind of job at the college? So that way, when Im free, I can work."
Brittany looked down while she thought about it, debating his suggestion as she took a deep breath. "No..I don't want that." She whispered while shrugging. "If you, if you quit anything I'm getting a job." She mumbled, set on her decision. Even if she wasn't the type of person to skill at a random part time job well, she was going to be committed. She got inside and sat in the passenger seat, cuddling up to his side once he was in. "Anyway.." She said and hoped they could still turn this around. "Do you think we'd be able to use the swimming pool at your college? I don't wanna walk everywhere, swimming seems more fun." She said softly.
Finn stopped walking when he heard her and glanced at her, lightly bit down on his bottom lip. He opened up his mouth, but closed it since he didnt want to ruin it anymore. He shut the door behind her, scratched his eyebrow as he walked around his truck and slid into the seat. He started the truck, wrapped his arm around her. He nodded as he head her and glanced down at her with a soft smile. "Im sure we can, I mean, the college does have a soft spot for me." He placed a kiss against her head as he rubbed her shoulder.
Brittany shivered while she snuggled close to him and giggled softly. She grabbed the envelope and took out one of the sonogram pictures, smiling wide as she looked at their baby. "So then they're gonna have a soft spot for a mini you." She said while patting her stomach. "Are we gonna go get something to eat? Or the grocery store? I'm kind of hungry." She said and couldn't wipe the smile off anymore.
Finn turned on the heater when he felt her shivered and grinned when he looked at the sonogram before he glanced ahead. "And you." He added as she patted her stomach and nodded. "Well, we gotta pick up your prenatal vitamins. So we can go to the grocery store and grab some food while we're there? Or are you craving something?"
Brittany nodded and had forgotten about those herself. This was another example of how she was grateful for having him. She hummed while thinking about it. "Watermelon! And we can get wings from that food bar inside? Then we get our groceries aaand lunch." She suggested happily while carefully putting the picture away. "
Finn chuckled softly as he nodded with a grin and pressed a kiss against her head. "Of course beautiful." He replied as he gotten into the other line after making sure it was clear.
Brittany relaxed against his side contently. She hummed along with the song while glancing up at him every once in a while. This was a day she would always remember. The day they had felt something new because this time they were getting a baby. Not planned, but Brittany didn't care. They were going to do fine and she wasn't in the middle of a job or school. She would be able to handle it. She was a mom now.
Finn glanced down at her with a smile before he glanced back ahead and continued to rub her shoulder through out the drive. They were getting a baby, a real baby instead of a false positive. They were going to be fine, he was going to be a dad and that had be the most exciting thing ever. Well, until he asked her to marry him.
It did, honestly. I loved every single moment of it with you and your family. Of course we can! Nah, they dont mind. They loved coming here and aw baby, they enjoyed themselves.

I can’t believe it’s been three years. I would have never guessed that I’d be more than 90 miles from Lima in an apartment with the love of my life. Including the new little one.

I think Christmas at our apartment went super well. So maybe we can do it again? If your parents don’t mind coming by of course. If they don’t wanna put up with the drive it can just be the five of us.

Brittany was feeling sick but she wanted to go and get some stuff for the apartment. Some groceries needed to be done so, she got herself out of the lovely set up Finn had for her in bed and had put on some clothes. She had stopped by Starbucks to get a tea but that didn't really soothe her stomach like Finn did. She strolled through the aisles of Target and checked the time. Finn should be home in a while so maybe she could beat him home. Perhaps the sudden increase in food supply wouldn't make him notice she went out. She passed the hygiene section and passed the pads and tampons, remembering that she had missed her regular date. She bit her lip lightly and wondered why. With feeling this sick, she then wondered if there was a chance that she could be...no. Not possible. The first time was a weird of mix of relief and disappointment. When she kept going through the aisle, she saw the tests and took in a deep breath. It couldn't hurt to just be safe. She grabbed a box of three tests and set it in the cart. When she finally finished up and checked out, all she could think about was those tests. She arrived home and had stuffed the tests in her purse before walking inside. "Baby?" She called out to see if he was home. Duke rushed to her but in a calmer manner lately.
Finn was glad that the football season was over with. They had won their last game against the Ducks, and it was time to rest. Especially since Christmas as around the corner and they had a long weekend ahead of him. "Im coming baby," He called after he turned off their T.V. and headed where she was at. He glanced outside, seeing the horrible weather still around and let out a sigh. Not that he didnt like the snow, he had love he snow but he didnt like driving it. Brittany smiled softly and nodded. "Okay," she said and bit her lip lightly. She wondered how her Robert and Marie were doing and if they were ever going to acknowledge her. She broke the kiss gently with a small smile. "Wanna um, go sit and we can relax while I slip on some pajamas?" She asked.
Finn matched her soft smile and nodded. "Yeah, and then we can make some cookies?" He suggested as he kept his hands on her lower back and brushed some of her hair away from her face.
Brittany nodded as she pecked his lips once more. There wasn't a day that she didn't admire his touch. "Perfect," She said and grabbed her purse. She took it to the room and got her pajamas, which consisted of some shorts and Finn's shirt. She wrapped the test in them and walked to the bathroom. It was no big deal. She turned on the sink to make the sound of opening the box quieter. She took out the test and remembered her first time all over again. The nerves returned, her hands slightly shaking while holding the test. "Okay," She breathed out and turned off the sink. She took the test while hoping Finn was distracted for a bit. After finished, she set the test in the sink as it took its time to appear. Meanwhile, she got dressed in her pajamas and her heart beat with anxiousness to see the result. She checked her phone and saw two minutes have passed. What if it was positive and the same thing happened? She must have been taking too long now. She took a big deep breath. Finally, she looked over the sink to the test. Positive.
Finn smiled softly as he nodded after he returned the peck and watched her head to her room. He ran towards the tree, dug out the ring box and pocketed it before he turned towards Duke. "Im gonna do it on Christmas Eve." He whispered, knowing that he wanted it to be perfect for her and let out a breath as he gotten up from the floor. He sat on the couch, turned on the T.V, and tried to find something the both of them would like.
Brittany 's eyes watered as she looked at it. There was no time to process this now. She stuck it back in the box and back in her old clothes. She carried it out to their room and put it in the last drawer of their dresser under her many pants. She came back over to him in the living room with a soft smile, hoping her eyes weren't too glossy or red. "So, what's the movie hm?" She asked, dragging the blanket over and snuggling next to him. Duke calmly jumped on the couch and rested his head on her stomach while she blushed lightly.
Finn laid like he was already into something before she came out and returned the soft smile, as he noticed her eyes. "Something that will make you feel better and romantic." He replied as she snuggled next to him and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. He watched Duke, placed a kiss against her head and rubbed her shoulder. "Do you want anything to make you feel better baby?"
Brittany pet the top of their dog's head. "Oh yeah?" She asked in a smooth tone. She pecked his lips and blinked, feeling the water at the rim of her eyelids. She bit her lip and rested her head on his chest. "I'm not sure," She said and covered them both with the blanket as she stayed cuddled with him comfortably. "Besides me, is there anything you want?"
Finn nodded gently against the couch and continued to rub her shoulder. "Yeah." He replied. He returned the peck and saw her blink, pressed a kiss against her head as she rested her head on his chest. He helped her with the blanket, and glanced down at her. "I got all I need." He rubbed her back and pressed another kiss against her head. "You okay though?"
Brittany nodded as she heard him. "Yeah," She said and had to give him something. The slightest reason as to why she was different. "Just wondering about my..parents?" She questioned what to call them now. "For all they know I could be, famous. Or living in Canada. Or I could've gotten kidnapped and taken all the way to Australia but they wouldn't know any of that." She rambled and rubbed her eyes.
Finn raised an eyebrow as she talked and saw her rubbing her eyes. "Hey...." He started to say as he continued to rub her back and tried to see her face. "Baby...Look at me, please?"
Brittany stopped rubbing her eyes and looked up at him. She had a small pout on her face as she held back from crying. Now she didn't really know if she was crying about her pregnancy or her parents.
Finn cupped her cheeks and kissed her pout. "Baby, Im so sorry." He whispered as he forehead against hers gently and caressed her cheek with his thumb.
Brittany shook her head as she heard him, smiling softly as she heard him. "That's ok." She said and jumped slightly as Duke barked at them. She frowned as he got off the couch, looking back and forth between them, huffing.
Finn shook his head when he heard her. "Its not.." He replied softly before he jumped slightly as well when he heard Duke's bark and watched him looked between the two of them. "What's wrong boy?"
Brittany watched as he barked at them then sat in front of Brittany. She furrowed her brow while she scratched his ears and pout. "What's going on?" She asked and sighed. "Anyway, I haven't talked to them in months. I have Carole and Butt and sometimes Cassie and Kyle." She said and pecked his lips. She snuggled back up to Finn while hearing Dukes low growl while walking away to their bedroom.
Finn furrowed his eyebrows together and looked at Duke while he sat in front of Brittany. "What's wrong Buddy?" He asked, scratched behind his ears and saw her pout again. "I know baby, but maybe you can give them a call? Or I could." He suggested and returned the peck. He placed a kiss against her head while he heard Duke's low growl and rubbed her side as he watched him head back to their bedroom. "There's something going on that we dont know."
Brittany wondered if having everyone here would make her less tense. Cassandra wasn't someone she could simply lie to. If she saw the slightest suspicion, her secret would be out. She stayed close to Finn and bit her lip, shrugging. "That's alright baby. I have you. But um, how would you feel having Cassie and Kyle over? I don't want them here if you don't."
Finn swallowed some as she spoke and ran his fingers through her hair. "Oh, Im good with them over here. I kinda told them about dinner already...Which, I should've told you that I invited them."
Brittany relaxed at his touch, but gulped as she heard him. Her stomach turned as she nodded slightly. "Ok." She settled and closed her eyes while she laid on him. "I love you." She told him, always impatiently awaiting this part of their day. "Do you have any homework or reading you need to do right now?"
Finn "Im sorry baby." Finn whispered against her head and placed a kiss against her head. "I love you too." He continued to rub her back as he shook his head. "Nope, I dont because Im on Christmas break and Im all yours."
Brittany shook her head. "Don't be honey." She said and covered them up with the blanket. "I love you more." She said with a smile, it widening as he told her he was on break. "Yay!" She said and squeezed him a bit for the hug.
Finn helped her with the blanket and nodded some. "Alright and if you say so beautiful." He replied and returned the squeeze. "Yeah! So all of the cuddles and lovin' you'll be getting."
Brittany blushed as she giggled softly. "It's true." She replied and was cuddled close to him, happy to be in his arms. "Ooo lots of them. But extra now." She said and relaxed in his hold as their movie started.
Finn chuckled softly as he nodded and placed another kiss against her head. "Of course," He replied against her head as the movie started and glanced ahead.
