I’M NOT DONE, AND YOU SHOULDN’T BE EITHER!

Look, I’ll admit I got Byler doubt last night for the first time in years after vol 2, but after doing some reflecting and throwing away all my tissues, I’m not done. In fact, I feel more empowered than ever.

I think Byler has a legit chance of happening still, even if it seems impossible right now. And I’m gonna explain some things I’ve noticed in a the next few posts to (hopefully) last us through this long week…and as a treat since I don’t have a consistent posting schedule on here that often.

Some things I’ll cover soon:

1. Duffers favorite ship being korrasami

2. Keeping the GA/views until the finale

3. Making sure every other ship/love triangle has an ending first

4. Painting still not addressed/Lack of Mike’s POV and screen time after vol 1

6. Will faced all his fears except one…leading to Will knowing that Mike has to know about his love

7. Meanwhile Mike has NOT faced his fears, allowing him an easy target for Vecna

It's the subtle details of Mike's internal conflict after S3…

The bedroom floor is littered with clothes.

Mike grabs dirty clothes off the floor to wear to school.

His grades are slipping. Max also has a C in English and in Spanish, too. We find out right after this but think nothing of it in regards to Mike. (Same with Dustin tbh.)

The counselor is telling us something about Mike here, too.

The basement has become a mess.

Wrappers, food, and dirty dishes mixed in between all his games.

The blankets and pillows—Mike has been sleeping in the basement.

Will's drawings next to a poster of a man plugged into videogames...

The basement that was once a safe place filled with so much joy and comfort has literally turned into Vecna nightmare fuel after Mike’s rain fight with Will…

Mike was probably spending most of his time down there (alone), missing his friends, and the (happy) times they'd spent there.

Initially, the basement was probably comforting, but that changed at some point.

He likely hadn't had the energy to clean. Which explains the mess and the smell.

It's sad that nobody seems to have noticed. I want to see how Will reacts.

This is why Mike will always be my favorite character, he hits too close to home. As a depressed gay myself, I always find myself wearing clothes I’ve already worn, staying in my room all the time to where there’s an odor (yes it’s nasty but idk how to help it don’t make fun of me), and constantly wishing I could go back in time to where I was happier. I need him to cry and he deserves a big hug (preferably from Will lol) anyways Byler endgame ✌🏼
